I wanted to share that I probably been to the Castle rock Adventist hospital about five times in the last 2 to 3 years admitted twice, but it was in the ED the other times. I have never had a bad experience when I’ve been there. I feel like everyone is so nice. They made me feel like they’re truly cared for me. I’ve been there at times when they’ve been extremely busy and they still provided excellent care to me. I hope you let all of your employees know what a wonderful job they are doing.

When my Wife and I were in need of professional medical care, you were always there giving us trusted care. Your Staff is second to none. There is no way we could ever thank you enough for the service you give your community especially the Veterans who defend our country so we can do what we do so well as a free Nation.

I had to go to castle rock Adventist ER because it was snowing or else I wouldn’t have gone here! The nurse didn’t come in until 3 hours after we had been there! The triage nurse was amazing and he came to check on us! The doctor had no bedside manner, was completely incompetent! I seriously was disgusted with the way we were treated! Being in the medical field I know what is expected and what isn’t and this hospital is not it! If it was not for us having to go there we wouldn’t have gone and will not ever go back in the future!!!

Care team was amazing. Started out quiet, thought we might get in and out in record time, but then a couple more critical things came in (I just had a broken arm). I was glad they gave me something for the pain relatively quickly, that made the wait more bearable. The front desk staff were talking to me and joking to keep my mind off the pain when I first arrived. Xray tech was very gentle. All the nurses treated me with kindness, dignity and respect. The doctor was great and gave me the good news too, not just the bad news. And she let me see the xray. I felt like a partner in my care.

I felt like I was put in the corner & forgotten about. Nobody gave me the remote to call the nurse. I had to get up & get it myself. Then when I used it calling the nurses station my speaker was broken & the nurses couldn't hear me nor did they check to see why I beeped twice & they had no response. I waited for my nurse to come in so I could use the restroom & i waited a long time so I got up unplugged myself from the machine & went to the bathroom by myself. I had to ask for a blanket from the lady that gets your information. My nurse was not around much. Didn't give me a pillow either. This hospital is hit or miss when it comes to my needs being met, & most the time it's miss. Good thing I wasn't having a heart attack.

This emergency room is very disappointing. The wait time was ridiculously long. Once I was seen by the doctor they barely even treated me. They sent me home with a boot which I threw in the trash because it served no purpose. And the crutches they gave me were the wrong size. Think twice before going here. You are probably better off contacting your primary care physician.

If I could give this place a -5 I would. I was freezing, visibly shaking with the cold from being outside in 37 degree weather. They gave me 2 sheets and when I asked for more I was ignored. When I asked for an ice pack for my back pain I was told there were none. I had vomit on me and no way to even wipe my face. I had no pillow most of the night. Then they told me 5 45am that I had to leave at 6 am. Never told me to call for my ride and threw me out to the lobby with vomit and feces on me at 6 15.
The only compassion I received was from the CT scan technician, Jeremy. He got me a pillow, wash clothes to wipe my face, warm blankets and made sure I didn't need anything else.
