I went to the ER at 1 pm. They ordered an ultrasound, blood work, and urine sample. I was done with all of those requests by 3:30. I waited in the waiting room until 9:30 asking every couple hours what is going on only for them to tell me they have not reviewed my ultrasound. 6 hours of me waiting for my results until I got fed up and left. I am 15 weeks pregnant sitting in those uncomfortable chairs in the waiting room literally for 6 hours with no information. And when I went to ask the triage nurse they were no help saying that I just have to wait until one of them finally said he’ll call to see what’s going on and that’s when he said they haven’t even reviewed my results!! I waited for 30 more minutes and then told the male nurse I was leaving and if I need to inform them that I am leaving and he completely ignored my question and just threw his hands up saying “we can’t stop you” which I knew I was just asking if I needed to inform them. He was very rude about it. Horrible experience did not feel cared for. I was NOT cared for.

2 of my veins were restricted and they used angioplasty to open them up and OMG I feel so much better 😃.
I've been here several times over past 2 years and I'm so thankful for everyone there, the entire staff is incredibly nice, helpful, and talented.
I wish every hospital was like this one.
note to patient, it's helpful to have patience and understanding that you are not the only person seeking help.

I recently visited the emergency room and had an extremely disappointing experience. I waited for a total of 7 hours, with very long wait times in between each step. To make matters worse, they switched my doctor without even telling me, leaving me confused and frustrated. I spent the majority of the night in the lobby, not even getting the chance to wait in a room. By the end of it all, I was simply told I could either have the flu or Covid but nothing was certain and I was just discharged. Throughout the entire visit, I felt completely unseen and ignored. The lack of communication and the inefficiency of the process made the whole experience very frustrating. I hope the hospital can improve its efficiency and patient care in the future. It’s terrify to think people go to the emergency for life threatening things.

I had a really bad experience last night… I got there about 7:30 pm with a horrible pain in my stomach, I have history with diverticulitis so that’s why I went there like an emergency because I knew that was the pain I was feeling. They had me waiting there for 20 min then they took my vitals, 20 min later I saw the doctor and then I had to wait for three hours to get my labs done and finally get medicine for the pain, and then another 3 hours to get my ct scan done… after all that waiting at 5:00 am the doctor told me that everything was normal and he send me home without diagnostic and without any medication… today I felt awful all day and had to see my doctor to finally get medicine for my pain. I think it’s frightening to think that this is what we have in case of an emergency, I certainly will never come back there again. The only thing that I can say is that the staff was always great super helpful and everybody was very kind and understanding.

I had the best experience at Kaweah Emergency and I just wanted to specifically acknowledge Dr. Aguilar, Dr. Schaefer, Crystal, Arica and Michelle. This staff made my daughter's (and my visit) very calming. We seemed to be in and out in no time, I honestly do not ever remember a better experience in an emergency room anywhere. Thanks so much for your efficiency, and care in a time of uncertainty!

Went in for stroke like symptoms, they did not do a MRI just bloodwork and medication. Spent over 6 hrs waiting to be misdiagnosed. Confirmed by neurologist. The waiting room is filled with transient sleeping/passed out in the waiting room. Hospital requested I take a urine test in the waiting room I refused due to the traffic in and out of the bathroom from transients. Worst ER I've ever been too.

Please for the love of god... STOP TAKING IN PEOPLE WHO DONT HAVE ACTUAL EMERGENCIES. slowest staff that stands around like deer in headlights. You expanded the emergency room without the proper qualifications and WE have to pay for it via fake sick patients.

The staff is nice, when you get to see them. Waiting in the outer lobby was long but at least I could access apps on my phone. Taken back to a room and left to wait for well over an hour. No updates. No contact. And to top it all off, I can only access Google.
