My visit to this er was wonderful. I had no wait, everyone was fast acting, caring, and helpful.
They had me feeling better and in less pain within an hour.

Absolutely TERRIBLE, if you can avoid going to this location please do. So I went by there today as an emergency because I couldn’t get into any urgent care, I think my finger is broken, let me also preface by saying this is the second time I tried this place out and the first time was horrible and I was treated horribly even the first time by the staff, but I decided to try again in hopes it’s different staff and it’s during the day. I walk in and the receptionist she was not rude to me, and she took me in the back, however, the nurse Donna to be exact, was EXTREMELY rude to me, made me feel unwelcomed there and very uncomfortable, to the point I got up and left. She rolled her eyes at me when I told her I believe I broken my thumb, then as I’m answering her questions she continued to cut me off and ask the same questions over again. She made it VERY apparent she did NOT want to do her job and was NOT happy to be there. This is the second time I have encountered extremely RUDE and UNWELCOMING employees there. They will make you feel very uncomfortable, they definitely do not need to be in the field they are in, because it’s clear they are only there for a paycheck and they truly don’t care for patients! AVOID THIS PLACE, go somewhere else, I got up immediately and left because of how I was treated.

I visited this place for simple gastritis I had CBC and CMP done and was given IV Zofran IV PPI and IV fluids stayed there for 1 hr and got a bill that I need to pay 2403.76$ for this on top of the 250$ I already paid. I would not recommend this place.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. Best nurses, best doctor. The best part of this place was that everyone was happy. Your care will be sooo much better if your caretakers are happy. I will say that when I was there, early evening on a Friday, there were not a lot of patients, so the staff was not stressed. Also, I am a happy patient, and am careful to be appreciative as opposed to critical. No doubt, if the staff was overwhelmed, or I was giving them a hard time, they might not have been so pleasant.
Best of luck to this ER! I was in a lot of pain, and you did a great job of taking care of me and making me feel better. THANK YOU!!

I have been here twice now for what I thought were little issues, and what I thought were probably a waste of time. They were never dismissive and they took every complaint seriously no matter how small, In fact they encourage it. I've never had a problem with insurance or billing.
Second visit was some bad chest pains (it's been incurring for about 6 years but this episode didn't stop) rather than being dismissive like most ER doctors, Dr. Goldenburg gave it to me straight, what would and wouldn't be a waste of time and didn't try to sell any unnecessary services or tests. That alone speaks volumes. Thank you for continued care.

$23,000 for a Kidney Stone & Private data leaked : I recently found myself requiring medical care and ended up at Overland Park Regional Medical Center's Emergency Room.

Initially, the attending team was on point. They quickly determined I was suffering from what appeared to be a kidney stone and moved swiftly to manage my severe pain—though I would've preferred an alternative to Fentanyl.

A shift change happened, and that's when things took a turn. Nurse Brittany called me to come into another room for a CT scan. I insisted that I did not want a CT scan but was coerced into it. She did explain the dye would be necessary to detect anything other than a kidney stone. The kidney stone made sense because I had been fasting, working in the heat, and wasn’t hydrating properly. I just wanted to leave at this point but had been heavily sedated with fentanyl.

Things got worse during my interaction with Dr. Sydney Stahlberg. She was visibly upset that I did not want dye injected into me for the CT scan. Her approach was far from patient-centric and dismissive, to say the least. Nurse Margaret Groshonqru followed suit, strongly implying that my CT results would be delayed if I opted out of the dye—almost as if to coerce me into complying.

Then came the bill: $145.44 from Dr. Dickerson and a whopping $3,500 for the ER visit, with no breakdown or justification of these charges. After a follow up call they told me my 3 hour stay was actually $23,000 before insurance negotiated it down.

To make matters worse, I was recently notified that my personal information has been compromised and leaked online. No direct assistance was offered to mitigate this potentially devastating situation. Since this incident, I've received numerous fraud alerts stating that my information is floating around on the dark web.

Customer service was extremely rude and told me they would be sending me to collections, which was about 3 days after I received my initial bill. When I called the ER direct, the nurse empathized with my situation and told me “the system is broken.”

I'm dumfounded by the bad reviews. Do these people think it's a Minute Clinic or something? The signs clearly state that it's an emergency room.

For my part, it was the best ER experience I've ever had. The staff was just...chill. They listened to me and took everything seriously. They quickly identified the cause of my immediate distress and gave me the treatment I needed. The whole time they were kind and courteous. I don't imagine an ER visit could ever be a pleasure, but if it were, it would be at this one.
