Very pleased with the care that was given. The front desk set the tone being courteous and making sure everything was sanitized while getting my information. The intake nurse was polite getting my vital signs. They were so professional... The male nurse that took me to back to be seen took it to another level of professionalism, high energy, and he made sure I understood what meds I was receiving... he was thorough in his explanation! The Doc and nurses that came in knew what was going on and you can tell they love their job. The entire staff deserved a BIG THANK YOU!!! Great Team work!!!

I went to the SJH for a pretty deep cut in my hand and simply put, this visit was thee most expedient visit to an ER I’ve had. I was quickly registered and within a few minutes I was seen by a nurse for triage and shortly thereafter seen by the doctor. He quickly stitched me up and I was on my way.

The staff was extremely pleasant to work with. Very thorough and again, fast!

I have had negative experiences here along with many family members that refuse to come here. I had to come here months ago with my sick son, and they were wonderful. I recently came in for myself. They were quick, informative, and helped get me feeling better. I would recommend coming back.

We took our kiddo here on a Saturday night and Dr. Crow and the nurse and ultrasound tech were all so patient with him. They took the time to explain what was going on, what the numbers and lines on the screen meant, and answered all of his questions. Our kiddo is super smart and loves science so this was also a good learning opportunity for him. Thankfully, nothing serious was wrong and everyone we interacted with kept us informed and were friendly and patient.

I was very concerned about what was going on with my health and after my primary care provider suggested I check in at St John’s Emergency Room, I followed his suggestion. The first thing was getting registered into the emergency room which was handled by a very efficient, and helpful attendant. I was almost immediately met by one of the nursing staff and escorted to one of the examination rooms. I was immediately greeted and had my vitals checked by my attending nurse. She was kind, very efficient and very helpful and reassuring in her professional handling of me while waiting for the doctor to come in. After a short discussion of why I was there the doctor determined what would be done to further determine my condition and how to proceed with a treatment plan. Within just a couple minutes testing was started and after only a short wait the doctor returned and discussed what the treatment would entail. Shortly after that I received the first part of my treatment and after a short wait was given a full explanation of what would happen to complete the treatment. I am not a person that goes to the doctor much at all but was extremely happy with each of the people that helped me and the true caring attitude they showed while taking care of me. I cannot say enough about the quality, speed and professionalism of the care I received.

Terrible experience and customer care. Facts!!! There are no transparency to YOU the patient. I should have been told when I was at the emergency window that the sheriff would be called to the hospital on my dog who accidentally bit me breaking up a dog fight... not after I signed in was back in room and he was called and showed up. Be Transparent you owe this to your patients before not during and after.. so after all that blind side and mistrust went to get antibiotics at dillons next morning because this happened at 10pm it was never called in. It was left in file had to wait 45 minutes at pharmacy. This is basic and showed even more how you are not cared for and their incompetence. I do not recommend this hospital on many levels. Follow through and transparency.

I don’t live in Leavenworth but was visiting when I slipped on ice and hit my head. We to the ER and I was checked over.
Everything went well and I was released. All the staff did a good job!
Erin, the NP, and the other nurse were very nice And checked everything.

The ER was very prompt in seeing my 7 year old son. He had just finished an antibiotic for strep yesterday and I was worried he was having an allergic reaction to it. I'm super allergic to it and just thought we're going to the ER to get checked out. Thankfully it turned out to be minor but so very happy how at ease the nurse and NP made me feel.
