I had a seizure where I lost complete control of my body with my head bent back and arms flailing, first time it’s ever happened to me. I’m on 5 medications. My husband tried telling them this TWICE. Both times they stated they “have a list”. I was then questioned about what drugs I do, and then I was scolded about how if I have another seizure I will get my license taken away. I’m 100% sure they believed I took some type of drug without even checking my medication list and side effects. I trusted them and then got home on my discharge papers it shows Tylenol as my only medication..

Just please be careful with these people. If your gut doesnt feel right, go to Catoosa or owasso

The friendliness of the staff was nice, except the man who took my blood pressure. This was 11/13/2024 at around 8:30.

I had a horrible experience! I went in for high blood pressure approximately 187 / 99 with chest pain I'm 71 years old. A doctor came in once been left they took blood during the last part of my visit which was like 2 hours and no one did anything I left with high blood pressure. I was dehydrated what's the doctor pretty much ignored me. They shut my door and turn my light off and I slept until my ride came.

Doctors are all the same. Good luck getting what you need. You’ll get the runaround

I went to an urgent care, and the doctor and I were under the agreement that it sounded like nicotine poisoning (work related). Doctor recommended me to head here to get testing done. They tested for 3 diseases and 6 ILLEGAL drugs, and when all of those came back negative, they slapped on the label "stomach bug" and sent me on my way.

We went to the ER last night (12/6/2021) about 9:30 p.m. I was not the patient but my sister was. We were received promptly and courteously. Our ER doctor was Dr. Eaton and our nurse was Holly. They both did a wonderful job. We felt like Dr. Eaton was knowledgeable, thorough and was determined that we got to the root of the problem we came about. He was patient to answer all our questions and make sure we understood. Holly was so sweet and gentle. She knew what she was doing and did it well. This was our second encounter with Hillcrest Hospital Claremore ER this year and both times we received excellent care.

On December 29 2021 I made error while I was using a table saw and took part of my right thumb. Went to ER at Hillcrest Hospital in Claremore and Dr. Emily Williams saw me and took really good care of me and was able to fine a Dr. Treat that would operate the next day.Dr. Emily Williams called me the next morning to check on and helped me get in contact with Dr. Treat. She was extremely helpful and passionate. We need more doctors like her. Thank you Dr. Emily Williams.

I was here for lab work and I pretty much got right in and got everything done pretty quickly, but I must say I was not impressed with the needle jabber here. She wasn't very likeable as she never smiled or acted pleasant, at all. On top of that, she jabbed me twice then dug around and still didn't get blood so she tries 2 more places and finally got it, very painfully. Blah!

I was treated this week, the staff were wonderful at easing my nerves despite the amount of pain I was experiencing. Specifically, Tama Dudley NP has a very calming presence and it was easy to tell her what was going on and trust she was going to take care of my issues. Nurses Felicia and Robin were most likely angels in disguise, Felicia gave a seemingly painless IV, she put most IV techs/phlebotomists to shame. Honorable mention goes out to the phlebotomists who gave excellent morale support, radiology department staff, transportation tech, and front desk staff who were very friendly during all of my interactions with them.

I was unable to leave five stars because the bathrooms in both the waiting area and patient room were not as clean as I would have expected in a hospital. This is likely easily remedied:
1. Toliet seat covers
2. A plastic/metal table or side cabinet or shelf in the waiting area bathroom near the toilet to place specimen containers.
3. TWO clothing hooks in the waiting room bathroom. One in the patient bathroom (one for a purse and one for a sweater; I hung my belongings by the door hinge!)
4. A small shelf in the patient bathroom for specimen containers.
4. Scheduled hourly cleanings, 30 minutes during heavy traffic with an initial sheet on the door.

With all of that said I really appreciate all the kind and thoughtful care I was given at Hillcrest Emergency Room in Claremore this week, Thank you!
