“Horrible Emergency Room Experience: Indifference and Neglect!”

I brought my wife to the Emergency Room with severe abdominal pain. The diagnosis? A ruptured cyst, blood in her urine, inflammation in her body, and abnormal blood test results. And what did the doctors do? NOTHING. Absolutely no real care was provided.

She spent 6 hours in excruciating pain, sitting near the doctors who ignored her urgent condition. She repeatedly told them she felt like she was losing consciousness and needed to lie down. Their response? “It’s okay, we’ll take more blood soon.” How is it okay when someone is telling you they are about to pass out?

During these 6 hours, they didn’t explain anything. They gave her medications without telling her what they were and just watched to make sure she swallowed them. This caused her extreme anxiety because she was kept completely in the dark about what was happening.

Her test results were sent to her email during the visit, and she had to interpret them herself. Seeing abnormal readings made her panic even more, but the doctors provided no clarification, no reassurance, and no explanation at all. Instead of addressing her fears, they left her in complete uncertainty.

Even after giving her pain medication, they kept asking if the pain had subsided. When she said it hadn’t, they seemed surprised, as if they couldn’t imagine that her condition might be more serious than they initially thought.

In the end, she left the hospital with the same severe pain she had when she arrived. The only difference? She wasted 6 hours in distress and anxiety, and now we’ll be billed for tests and an ultrasound that led to no proper care or resolution.

This wasn’t medical care—it was complete indifference. How can you keep someone in such a state, losing consciousness, without providing immediate help?

I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. This level of negligence and unprofessionalism is unacceptable.

So many bad reviews about the waiting time but I had 2 good experiences coming here, yes I had to wait a long time but the doctors do care, both times I have come here they have listened to my concerns and do test accordingly. I'm sure that there's times that are busier than others first time I waited almost 7hrs today I only waited 4hrs. Today I saw Dr. Jonathan R. He was very reassuringand i felt safe with him, so thank you Dr Jonathan

Horrible place, treat my son with a mental disability far different when I'm present vs not. Unempathetic team, isn't qualified to work at a fast food restaurant. RN Erick is freaking awesome though. He's the only reason hospital deserves one star, went in with impacted stool was treated for constipation and told by a nurse to use nicotine and coffee to get it to pass. My son was completely discriminated on based on a disability on police bodycam.

Tried telling them its not okayed it but they refused to listen. We'll be in contact with a notice of preservation.

Took my sister there because she was showing signs of liver failure. When I told the nurse she drinks more than normal he didn't hold back his judgmental eyes. She's not an alcoholic she just has a weak liver and the little she does drink isn't good. But every nurse made it known they thought she was an alcoholic. Only the blood work guy was cool.
Then when they kept her overnight she had a roommate who only spoke Koren. The nurse was so rude to this lady. She was a older woman who could barely walk so when she'd call for the nurses they never came. She wet the bed and finally I went to get her nurse. When she showed up she very rudely told the lady "I don't speak ur language what do u want" I was so flabbergasted. What's wrong with these people. Very horrible service honestly. Then when they told me sister she had was cut in her liver they said it was normal and didn't stress enough that she needs to lay off the drinking. I know they can't control her but if they told her the suvarities of it she would have waited for it to heal. the nurses just sit around gossiping. Some nurse said oh this really is like Greg's anatomy. Like woman. There are people dying and ur comparing it to a TV drama

I took my my child to this hospital who had an unfortunate accident. Since my Kaiser emergency hospital was 10+ miles in Garden Grove or Anaheim, I felt compelled to use this place. NO RECEPTIONIST for 20 mins. Left after a minute more when the security guard looked as lost as some of the patients inside when I asked him if the reception booth was usually manned. AVOID this place and go somewhere else if you have coverage.

This hospital is so ghetto the nurses can't even do their job right they don't answer any questions and they give you a run-around big time you could have a patient dying in there that's your relative and you'll never know because they won't tell you
