I arrived to the ER and was greeted politely at the Reception window. I was then examined and treated by nurses who were professional and competent and compassionate. I was never waiting long, like I have at larger hospital ER’s. I did have to wait for a few hours for a room to become available upstairs due to the high volume of ill patients this time of year. I was comfortable and checked on while receiving breathing treatments in the meantime. The entire Staff were polite and professional and accommodating to my needs to ensure my care was priority.The communication by each Staff member was excellent. I never knew of this facility but I will recommend it in the future.

Me and my husband came to the ER at 6am of HBH with my complaints of stomach pain level 8 on scale of 1/10. I also vomited twice the day before. Since I was in pain i felt like I’ve waited ages which was just minutes to be taken inside.. there I have nurse Kat and Dr. Ngo taking care of me. They were nice and ordered blood works and CAT scan immediately for me.. when they learned of my inflamed appendix, advised me for surgery.. preps were made, our insurance was informed and I transferred to private room… my OR nurses were very nice (Nurse Farrah, nurse Susan and nurse Merla) asked the doc for pain meds when I was silently crying over the pain I was suffering!🥲 I was put on the table at 7:30pm finished by 9:30.. the Room was a not too big but at least clean.. the window was broken but i didn’t really mind.. my nurses where ok for i understand that it is busy in the hospital.. they tend to my needs with great care.. gave me pain meds when i needed it.. the food is great.. i have regular diet so no restrictions.. I enjoyed the food and desserts..Nurse practitioner Candy was the one overseeing my care and she was so nice… after 3 nights I was discharged.. thank u nurse Emma for explaining my discharge instructions very well.. to my surgeon Dr. Tutela and Anesthesiologist Dr. Kim thanks for taking care of my operation very well..☺️ as a nurse myself, i hope i can work in your hospital someday..😅

I have been hospitalized there at Huntington Beach Hospital several times. Everyone is kind which means the most to me. They are professional and very caring. Each time I have had to go there, I am promptly routes through the ER and taken care of immediately and within some time, I usually get a room. The only thing o can complain about is the last room I stayed in, I had a room mate. That was not a problem. The problem was that where the bed area was so small that my side table would not fit so it was difficult for me to eat. Also there was hardly any room for the nurses. You could not watch TV because once you roommates curtain was closed for privacy’s there was no way to watch TV. I’m not a huge TV fan but when you’re in the hospital with nothing to do it does serve a purpose. That’s all. Oh if you do look at that room you can see that it can be reconfigured differently to make the room adequate for 2 persons. It is truly large enough!!! Thank you

This is my second time going to this hospital, to urgent care. It’s truly the best, felt like I was being taken good care of. Consideration from doctors and staff. Place is clean and well organized. Very welcoming place and services are provided in timely manner. The first time I was in hospital for 3 days in August was like a Ritz Carlton experience from moment I arrived till I left. Thank you

Front desk told us it’s going to be a couple hours before we can see you… we agreed there was only 2 people in the waiting room . The one lady left after an 1 hour of our arrival.. not sure how long she was there before we arrived.. then the other person left after about 2 hours.. we were there for 5 hours and finally threw in the towel.. and still didn’t call our name…

This boutique hospital lives up to the name. Under prepared, under staffed, ill equipped and most important a total lack of empathy and sympathy. My mother (76) y/o, suffered numerous physical malfunction that prompted immediate response to the point that she needed to be admitted. Promise, promise, promise. BS!!!...The simple fact of over crowding and they must have reached a fiscal monetary high that it eclipsed the patients that needed the most help. Probably some insurance cap poi t set so that the hospital doesn't robber Barron's. The victim, my mother. Never go to this hospital. Choose a other facility if even remotely possible. They mean more harm than good. Oh yes, one more thing, they know how to pass the buck better than I have sent before. God bless all of you and I hope your family, friend, member gets the proper care they rightfully deserve. I am sorry there are typos. There were none when I posted this review. Shame on you web master!

I’m very grateful for the people at Huntington Beach Hospital. Everyone there, and I mean everyone that I have come into contact with has been an absolute pleasure to deal with. Security, the ER staff, the in patient teams, Dr’s, everyone. I have had a crazy year of crazy injury’s, and I will go there even if I need to travel further.

The small town feel is what you get here. And it makes all the difference when you’re not well.

When you walk in it feels like a prison infirmary. I don’t wanna disclose what I went in there for, however do not let the aesthetics of the place fool you. The quality of care, compassion, and love that this place has is 5 star. Nurse named Jeremey had the answer to what was wrong with me within 15 minutes of registration at the front desk and I had an IV in my arm and was being treated within 30 minutes.

I live much closer to Hoag, but will keep coming back to Huntington Beach from now one

P.S Jeremey I’ll come back and thank you once I have some time under my belt. You prob saved my life.
