I suffered a grave injury on my leg and was transported to Inova for surgery and care. I’d have to say, the nurses, techs, and doctors were so amazing and patient with me. They provided me with perfect care and displayed such empathy and compassion for me in such painful situation. I am fortunate to say that I even built a great bond with my nurses and was really sad to say goodbye to them. My night nurse, Jessica, was very professional, kind, sweet, compassionate, patient, and educated me throughout my entire recovery process. I have never experienced the level of professionalism and amazing care in any other hospital in my lifetime, like Inova. I enjoyed their robust and delicious menu as well, which made me feel as if I was in actual restaurant. Loved it all….miss there delicious salads! Finally, the cleanliness! I loved how clean everything was at all times and how kind their cleaning staff were. Everything overall for me was 100% great!! I thank you all for providing me with such great care and hospitality. Miss all my nurses and know that all patients there are definitely in great hands.

We were referred to this Urgent Care location for a chest X-ray, but the experience was terrible. Despite the location being empty, the front desk staff took 30 minutes to locate the order and was rude throughout the process. We were then told to wait for the X-ray technician, who didn’t arrive for another 45 minutes. When we followed up, the front desk person claimed she would check but provided no updates and left us waiting even longer.

It was clear that the Emergency checkin staff lacked proper training, as the order wasn’t correctly updated in the system. The overall experience was frustrating, with no sense of empathy or regard for patients. I highly recommend going elsewhere to avoid such poor service and mismanagement.

Went to Inova ER-Ashburn for a suspected miscarriage today, January 2nd. They got me in right away and were incredibly kind and gentle given the circumstances of my visit. Dr. Pulizzi, my nurse, and tech were kind, knowledgeable, and had great bedside manner. Very happy to have come here. I felt all of my needs were met and all of my questions were answered.

I took my friend there due to alcoholism. After 2.5 hours of waiting we saw so a called doctor or something.
The black female doctor or whatever she was immediately told my friend that she wouldn't help him with his alcoholism other than recommend a rehab. Fortunately we stopped at another er and they immediately gave him meds to help. I'm glad to say that my friend has been alcohol free for 2 weeks now no that's to this extremely rude and prejudice black female doctor. Hopefully she'll be investigated and fired for the way her prejudice and uncaring way that she handled my white friend and 3 other white people that complained about her while we waited. By the way I had 2 others with me from aa that brought 2 other black men in and she prescribed them meds for alcoholism. Be ware this black young female doctor is extremely dangerous towards white people. Please if you're white and need help go to the hospital in Leesburg, they immediately gave my friend life saving meds. I normally don't post reviews but after this I felt obligated especially after having several others from aa telling me not to go to Ashburn hospital.
They only prescribe over the counter meds that definitely don't help.

I took my daughter to INOVA healthplex in Ashburn tonight. The receptionist Jose was very sweet, got our information and let us know that we would be called back shortly. The tech that came to get us from the lobby was also nice and professional. Dr. Bolaji listened to my concerns and took the necessary steps to ensure that they were all taken care of. However Courtney which was my daughter's nurse was very rude and unprofessional. She questioned the amount of pain my child told her she was in as if my daughter was lying. Her words were " She doesn't look like she's in pain". After the doctor assessed my daughter and told us what was going on, he sent Courtney back in with medicine and our discharge papers. I asked if she could please ask the doctor for Ibuprofen since my daughter was in pain. She looked at me weird and again questioned my daughters pain. I told her nevermind because I was so insulted by her actions. When I went back to the lobby, I asked the receptionist Jose and the tech that worked with my daughter if there was anyone I could speak to about putting in a complaint. They went to get the nurse lead which happened to be Courtney. I asked Courtney who I could speak to that was above her and she told me her manager was in the back sleep so there was no one I could talk to. I then asked for a number to call and needless to say no one ever came back out with that number. I asked Jose if he could go back there to see what was going on and he told me no, that he couldn't go back there and that I would just have to wait. I ended up leaving but I'm very disappointed with the nurse. As a nurse Courtney should have known you are never supposed to pass judgment or question the level of pain a patient tells you that they are in all because she didn't believe it. Mind you, my daughter is young, she isn't an adult seeking just any medication. I'm not sure how she became the nursing lead with an attitude like that. She wasn't the doctor and should have never acted as such.

My mom experienced very high blood pressure and difficulty breathing on a long distance flight coming into Dullus. Two ER nurses that worked at this ER were on the flight and spent 2 hours with my mom to reduce her medical emergency. After landing 1 nurse rode with the ambulance to this ER. The other got my mom's luggage and brought it. Sorry I don't know their names. I was unable to find the correct contact to email a letter of commendation. My family will be forever grateful for these spectacular nurses that went above and beyond on their off time.

This review is for our latest visit here last week. Beware of Dr. Amanda Klukowski who pretty much gaslit us saying my daughter - who was having horrible stomach pain/unable to pass gas/unable to burp - needed to see a GI specialist instead of conducting a CT scan right away to realize my daughter was having acute appendicitis. Had we gone home my daughter’s appendix would have burst. My daughter had a terrible stomach ache and she wasn’t able to pass gas or burp to get relief. She took 2 gas-x pills (which usually works) so we rushed to the ER around 1am because she was in extreme pain and crying. They gave her 3-4 different types of anti-gas meds as well as a shot designed to help alleviate gas. NOTHING WAS WORKING and she was on the floor in pain. We asked the dr for a CT scan as soon as we first came in to rule out anything and she said she didn’t recommend it due to her age and the fact that she had had a CT scan 8 months prior. We asked a few times for a CT scan and each time she looked at us like we were over-exaggerating her pain, even going so far as to say that it was a GI issue and she would be happy to recommend a GI Dr to us but was certain she didn’t need a CT scan. They took no bloodwork until about 4:30am and I’m pretty sure that was after I asked them to do so. When the bloodwork came back it was showing elevated white blood cell count (active infection). Around 5pm, they finally took her to get a CT scan and GUESS WHAT! My daughter was having acute appendicitis. She came in to deliver the news and told us we needed to drive to Inova Loudoun Hospital right away to get emergency surgery, but never apologized for keeping my daughter in the ER for 5-6 hours before finally doing the CT Scan which is the first thing that should have been done after bloodwork as soon as we came in. The place was pretty much empty, but they moved at snails pace. When my daughter finally got out of surgery around 2pm the doctor who performed the emergency surgery said he was glad he was able to remove the appendix in time because it was “extremely angry.” We’ll be going to StoneRidge emergency room going forward. A friend of my husband’s ended up there 2 days prior to our debacle and they did a CT scan right away on him, determined he was having appendicitis, and got him into surgery right away.

Current wait time on their website says 1 minute, yet I just waited for over an hour in a cold room with not a word from anyone or offer of a blanket. Finally got the attention of someone and asked if I would be seen or if I should go to an urgent care. 10 min later, a young female doctor came in (not the doctor I was told I would see) and asked what I needed in a less than friendly manner (I suppose because I nicely asked about my wait time?) When I explained why I believed I had a sinus infection, after having had Covid, she refused to believe me. She was dispassionate and condescending. She insisted I have a viral infection, not a bacterial infection, even though the major symptoms I had with Covid had resolved, and stated she would give me an antibiotic only because she "didn't want to go back and forth" with me and just to make me happy. What kind of doctor says that? I said I didn't want her to give it to me for that reason, but because she believed my historical account of chronic sinus infections and symptoms and successful resolution with antibiotics. She had a terrible bedside manner and didn't even look into my sinuses or ears as other doctors have always done, only my throat. It was the worst experience I've had with a doctor in a very long time, and I highly recommend you go to an urgent care vs this place. I originally thought they had an urgent care and made the mistake of listening to a woman at the front desk who said I could go the ER.
