This ER is by far the worst I have ever been at. The way the doctors and staff speak to people is by far the worse I have ever experienced. To sit and hear a doctor say I’m not going to solve all his problems after the nurses explained the patients concerns. Considering that he just answered all their questions: I wonder if he would have said the same if the patient could actually understand what the doctor was saying or if he was taking advantage that the person needed an interpreter. As I sat waiting for the same doctor to come in and take a look at my father. Being here an hour after just being discharged two hours ago when his nose started bleeding without stopping till even now. He had three stents placed here just yesterday and I know that him having heart history they usually take this a little more seriously. I really didn’t want to bring him here but the fact the ambulance brought him here two days ago and the procedure was done here and he was just discharged, they would maybe get him seen quickly. Definitely not the case. I really hope this place gets investigated for they’re way of practicing: Horrible! Horrible!!

Fairly quick considering patients in front of me (2am.. It took about 10 minutes for vitals, then another 45 min to be called in), and I wasn't in a life threatening situation. Impressed with their mobile xray machines for ER use (arm xray) Dr was nice, professional, and made sure to ask if I had any other concerns, I felt as tho he had done a thorough job making sure to cover any other possibilities due to my visit. 👍

DO NOT GO HERE!

Update: I’ve been tormented with billing mistakes since this review. I got a charge for several thousand dollars in “pharmacy” fees that did not match the care I received. I spent months trying to resolve this with dignity billing and they sent me to collections anyways. This organization is a straight up scam. I wish I never sought medical attention.

I went in as I was dehydrated after being unable to keep water down for over a day and having severe body aches/abdomen pain. The ER was incredibly disorganized. First it was them marking me as called but no show which the intake person told me that was an error, which led to further wait. Then they would call the same people over an over, who had already been taken back. One nurse would come out and call their name, their spouse waiting would tell them they had already been taken back, and 5 minutes later a new nurse would call the same person. This happened constantly for seemingly everyone who was there, including me. They completely lost track of where ANY of their patients were.

After being taken back for blood work, sent back to the waiting room, and waiting about 90 minutes, I was called back again because the nurse FORGOT TO GIVE ME MEDICATION. She point blank told me she was supposed to give me pain/nausea meds and just forgot to do so, like it was a funny mistake. These were the same nurses who were dropping blood sample tubes on the floor and completely oblivious to that until another patient pointed it out.

After five hours in pain on the waiting room chairs and a refusal to provide somewhere to lay down, and someone who walked in with a large knife on their belt the security didn’t even notice until they were told about it, we walked out. I would rather have taken my chances going back home and sleeping it off, which in hindsight wasn’t the best idea, but it was so uncomfortable in the moment I felt I had no other choice. When I asked the nurses at intake what would happen if I left, they simply shrugged and said “we can’t keep you here, leave if you want”.

I understand the concept of triage. There are a lot of people who come to the ER, some who are sicker than I am. But the fact they had no clue where any patients were, were forgetting to provide medication, and dropping blood sample tubes on the floor, was unacceptable. I plan on calling their billing department to request an itemized invoice and disputing any and all services not rendered. If you came here, I would suggest doing the same.

Dignity Health, you can do better.

Edit: logged into the online portal to view records. There is a notice saying all test results are intentionally withheld for 36-72 hours after the results are ready. You seriously cannot make this stuff up…

The ER was not busy when I got there, the nurse was nice that checked me in. The waiting area is very dirty and chairs are uncomfortable. The doctor and the nurse that saw me was not caring at all, appears to be bothered. They gave me stomach medicine to drink, I asked if I can get it through the IV, as my stomach is very sensitive and might irritate it. The doc replied, "Sorry in Advance", and walked away. Another nurse came by, I asked the nurse if I can lie down in the room, she said sure as they are not busy right now. Few minutes later, they took me for Ultra sound. I asked the nurse if I can lie down in the room, as the waiting area is dirty, she said no, we are busy there are no rooms. The place was not busy!! They just send me home to see a my regular doctor, really Didn't care to ask if I am still in pain, etc. So disappointing.

If I knew they would make me wait for a long time while I was in pain and muscles spasm, I should have just gone to urgent care. Much cleaner and takes the same time of waiting. I’m in so much pain, told them about it, and I had to request for pain medication just to get some and it also took a while. They basically just lab tested me and x-ray me without considering the patient’s comfort label. It’s all business. No compassion.

2.4 star rating is way too kind. The nurses and staff that were there at 3am should not be taking care of sick people. I laid on the floor for hours in severe pain in my abdomen. The only comfortable position was laying on my side. I have never had pain that bad in my life. The security kept telling me to get up. The nurses were nasty, hate their job people. I can't tell you how horrible an experience that was. I kept asking for water, were I could buy some. I had to get drinks from the hand wash station. Believe me, the people there when I was, they are not heroes. No words, insane, that is happening and guarantee not just to me

I had a great experience in the er at 10pm I checked in and in less than 10 minutes they had already checked my vitals, talked to a nurse and the doctor, the fastest ER in the world, than I was sent inside and a nurse named Ashley took care of me installing a catheter and she was very careful, caring, understanding, she and another spanic nurse that also helped me were the best nurses I've ever had, all the stuff was courteous and professional god bless them all.

I arrived at the ER with a child experiencing a 104 fever, and was told to stand in a specific spot in order to check in. I did, and waited for 45 minutes while nothing happened. Eventually, when my wife arrived and loudly asked for help, the nurse told me she had been trying to get my attention but I was "on my phone." Which, fair enough, I was, but that was because I was in contact with said wife who was coincidentally in urgent care at the same time getting multiple stiches above her eye. So next time I need to be very slowly attended to, I'll make sure to warn may wife she needs to be ready to bleed without support, lest I receive the wrath of a vengeful nurse.
