Literally the best experience I have ever had at any emergency room/urgent care.

They treated me above and beyond my expectations and were so kind to me.

I cannot express how much I appreciate the workers there and will 100% be returning if I ever have another medical emergency.

So I actually should have made this review 2 years ago — late October. Y’all, I nearly DIED because of this ER. I’m guessing unless you’re a millionaire’s little princess or prince, they really don’t give a crap who you are. I had a peanut allergy attack from an SMU event prior. I couldn’t access my Benadryl and the 7/11 next door didn’t have any. So, I rushed into the ER — barely breathing— thinking I could get help (the office was empty mind you). The man at the desk lazily gave me a sign up form while I was gasping for air, he blankly ordered me to sign in, and THEN commented how my handwriting was sloppy so I needed to re-write the form (mother was on the phone so she heard the whole thing). My breathing became WORSE and he told me to sit down and WAIT; no comforting words like, “Calm down— we’ll help you sir”. Then, the doctor (with no urgency) slowly came out and joyfully asked me “What’s wrong buddy?” as if I just had a scar on my thumb and needed a cherry lolly pop. At this rate, I was so lost and scared I didn’t even want to go back in the room with him because these medical workers didn’t seem to care. So I called THE AMBULANCE AT THE ER TO TAKE ME TO THE HOSPITAL: the irony! How I had the clarity to do this, I really don’t know. Thank God for adrenaline and his angels. The UP ambulance EVENTUALLY came and even they acted weird. They only seemed to care because my blood pressure was “only” in the 200s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The cherry on top was that cheery, nonchalant doctor had the nerve to step inside the ambulance and tell me, “ALWAYS call 911 first before coming to the ER, honey. That’s your best option sweety…” ANYWAYS, whether you can or can’t afford it, call the ambulance before visiting this ghetto, hood-ratchet of an ER. Your life will depend on it.

Staff was friendly. The Doctor was professional and funny. They had very nice patient amenities to make the experience there better than it otherwise might be for patients and their friends/family like me. SMU decor was a plus 😉 best ER I’ve been to. Oh and not an hour or more wait just for my friend to be taken back! Thanks for everything guys:)

I Went here with kidney stone pain and the staff is AMAZING. They were kind and personable. They took care of me swiftly and were very thorough. The building was comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend if you’re needing an ER.

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR HEALTH. DOCTOR TRIED GIVING ME MEDICATION THAT I AM ALLERGIC TO. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE. The nurse handed me a medication to take that I'm allergic to. I told Dr. Plumlee numerous times what I'm allergic to and he still tried giving me a medication that I cannot have. He told me that according to the "records" I had this medication 10-12 days ago. Which is concerning because I haven't been anywhere where I would've gotten this medication and once again I'm allergic to it. The nurse was horrible and one of the rudest healthcare workers I've come across. I suffer from two rare and chronic diseases and unfortunately I have to take a trip to the ER frequently. Luckily, in Dallas, there are far better options than this place.

Absolutely amazing experience. I am a physician and would highly recommend them! The facility is beautiful, the staff is welcoming and attentive and the doctor was amazing. They took care of my daughter quickly and treated us as though we were family. We will definitely use them in the future for all our ER issues!

This clinic is fantastic! It’s very clean and inviting when you walk in and they even offer an array of snacks and drinks to make you comfortable. The receptionist greeted me with kindness and the doctor took me back right away. I felt at ease instantly as they listened carefully to my concerns. The attention to detail and bedside manner from the doctors and nurses is exceptional. They put my toddler daughter at ease which is not easy to do. We love the staff and feel very cared for here! This is our forever ER clinic as they made us feel right at home.
