I cannot say enough great things about this hospital!!! With this whole pandemic of the flu on the rise!! This team of nurses and doctors work so fast and efficiently to care for the local people of Midlothian!! I was there a week ago then my son ended up there week later with flu.

They were making accommodations for the surge of people coming in and using the resources they had to try and keep flow of traffic down.

Bravo Methodist!!!! You really proved to be TOP TIER!! Midlothian thanks you! I thank you!!

I gave this hospital my insurance information at the ER, as well as two days after. I even called and let him know that I'm a service-connected veteran and that they can get a hold of the VA ER for information on payment as well.

I continue to feel harassed through never ending text messages and no return phone calls regarding my circumstance.

God forbid the hospital does it's job and calls the patient for information and when you give it they lose it.

I've tried to contact their vice president of operations Emily Dykes. I've left messages with their assistant. No call back so I guess I'll just start here and then go to my insurance and let them know what's going on.

This was on top of the doctor, who I won't mention their name comes in after 4 and 1/2 hours and says "oh I really got to go. I just wanted to come in here and let you know that you have a tiny stone........" No information on it. No, how long it's going to take to pass now. How are you doing? Just hey I got to go but you're going to be okay.

You might as well have just let the nurse discharge me and not come in.

I shouldn't have to deal with this as a patient. Don't expect much help once discharged if they lose your information I've also been transferred to their Dallas location multiple times because I guess they can't even get the directory together.

This is a reminder of why I'll just stick it out with the VA. At least I'm treated as a human patient there and doctors call back with your concern.

I reflected over the phone call today from the VP of operations in regards to my issues and frustrations from my visit.

I, can at say the executive level was sincere and respectful today. They listened and took my info and said it would be taken care of and that I wouldn't have to worry about billing or anybody reaching back out unless an issue with insurance company.

Lastly, I didn't mention it in the first post but when I was at the ER, the check in process was quick and the facility was clean.

Nikki has been an awesome nurse for my mother! She has been super nice and very caring. She has made the situation 100x better! The hospital definitely has an irreplaceable asset on their staff.

I just want to again say how great it used to be to have this hospital in our area. My first interaction with them came shortly after they opened in the Emergency room. Very few folks were there and I remember thinking that while the service and care were great, it would be different once it became busier and more established. But this week with a family member needing Emergency treatment and then ICU I can tell you it is still a great hospital. Every member of the staff and team were knowledgeable, caring and informative. I know a hospital trip is tough on everyone and everyone’s experience is different but IMHO I highly recommend this hospital if unforeseen medical issues take place

I took my husband in due to shortness of breath on Dec 25, 2024. The emergency team care was very good. The doctor though overworked, was excellent. He was admitted to the hospital later that night. It all went down hill. Terrible bedside manners from most nurses and techs. Respiratory therapist rude, mediocre and recorded notes that my husband refused the CPAP machine when what happened is that he asked for help putting it on since he was on diuretics and would get up to go to the bathroom and didn’t know how to reconnect it but the lazy nurses and techs would not help him put it back on. One night he could not breath and desperately called the nurses. They responded that the nurse was busy and she’d get back to him. 4-5 mins later she arrived. He could have died and no one was there to assist him. We made a complaint to the manager who stated that bc it was the weekend, (he was discharged Sunday night), she would get back to him Monday. She never reached out in any form. I gave her my number and our e mail and my husbands number. Two employees worthy of their weight in gold were nurse Ismael, and the respiratory therapist thin of Mexican descent maybe her name is Sarah?. She was wonderful.

My dad was very ill and stayed in the hospital for 24 days. He had the best nurses, but we wanted to give a specific shout out to Connie and Sarah with wound care! Not only did his wounds get better by leaps and bounds, they were very gracious with dad and me to take the time to explain everything that was going on during his treatment. Thank you, ladies, for caring about your whole patient and family!

Ronny did X-rays for me, and he made me feel very comfortable. Very pleasant while doing his job. Wendy did a wonderful job too. She explained what she was doing in a way that I could understand, and feel comfortable with. I wish I could have taken both of them home with me.

Nurse Shannon made sure my husband was comfortable she was very knowledgeable and sweet they even shared a few laughs 😊.
Dr. Schaffer had us in and out fast was very detailed in his diagnosis. Over all it was a great experience, very clean and professional medical staff.
