Had to go to an ER today and chose this one as it is freestanding and, as such, looked very accessible (lots of parking and right off SE Abshier in Belleview).
The lady at the front was very nice and they got me back super quickly.
I was very impressed with my nurses (Chris & Karissa) who were kind and very helpful. I was also very impressed with the physician who came to see me, Dr Havyarimana. He took a thorough history, asked a lot of questions and was very knowledgeable and clinically skilled. In addition, Dr Havyarimana was very empathic and warm, which helped me feel comfortable and reassured in his care.
This will be my go-to ED (although I certainly hope I will not have to "go to" the ED very often in the future)!😭
Overall, excellent experience with a great team. Highly recommend this facility if you need emergency care.

I can not say enough about the people here. I was greeted with kindness by a gentleman at the entry. Dr. Snead actually came to call me back as the nurses were all busy with patients. He took care of my issue very quickly, right there in the bay. Saving me a lot of time and unnecessary appointments had I waited to had I left the situation go any longer. I felt so silly, but Dr. Tom Snead reassured me and treated me with kindness and professionalism. I was finished and ready to leave before the paperwork for registration was done. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

The staff is great!!! It has to be by far the best ER that I've ever been to. Courteous, thorough, and understanding. Thank you to everyone I've seen and was treated by the 3 times I've found myself needing their assistance.

Visiting this place is truly wonderful. You forget for a moment that you are sick or in the emergency room. Because they have always treated me and my family so well. They are very kind, professional, attentive. Excellent service. Highly recommended.

Everything went so fast from check in to testing to treatment to meds called in and me home to recover with clear instructions about what to do if by a set time this... Nurse Penny was super nice and intuitively or by training knew how Not to treat me as well as how To treat me and that little extra was an extra stress or need I didn't have to go through. The doctor is smart, professional, and personable, i chuckle seeing a face he made briefly. I'm still sick but so far according to plan and when I'm better I'm going in to say Hello and thanks!

I'm no stranger to AdventHealth Belleview ER, Staff were very much kind and attending to my well-being, my wife and I are very thankful for the staff who were there to help me on the day I was seen and all were very polite and easy to talk to when your not at 100 percent.
Thank you so much for helping us on that day and we will be looking forward to seeing you in the future having 2 kids in the house. 😆

I have visited this "ER" previously with my two sisters, and on both occasions, we had been treated kindly and quickly. However, last night, my dad took my mom after days of trying to convince her to go, only to find that things have changed, and for the worst. My mom seems to be fighting a urinary infection, initially thought to be a kidney stone, for the past two weeks and half (give or take,) and lately has been bleeding with clots, always screaming when she has to go to the bathroom and can barely sit up anymore, if at all. Instead, my parents were forced to wait four to five hours, having arrived during the daytime and decided to leave at night, she provided a sample and her blood pressure was taken, but that was it. Patients came in, but were treated first, despite her having after her, even after the first hour had passed. Eventually, they realized that the most probable reason for not being treated was because the others are white Americans, whereas my parents and I are Puerto Ricans. As American as the rest of the patients, but our faces and language seemed to hold my parents back. My dad attempted to question why my mom wasn't being treated despite having waited for hours, but they were told that people are admitted according to emergency. However, NOT A SINGLE person that came after was either bleeding, vomiting, nor brought in via ambulance. In fact, even the staff was worried and checked my mom's blood pressure three times and decided to keep her with a monitor to keep an eye on it, but that was it. To the Puerto Rican staff who had the audacity to explain that admissions depends on the severity of the emergency, I refuse to believe you, and should a "true" American explain the same, I refuse to believe them too. My mom is still in an EMERGENCY mode, now having clots in her urine, and the fact that an emergency has to be "booked" by appointment is even worse. More than livid, I am heartbroken, because nothing can be worse than watching my mom on her birthday wondering what she ever did to be denied any health care, to which the answer is: nothing. As I write this, I am in tears to see that not just an American was denied health access, but that my mom, a human being, has to withstand so much pain for no reason. So, to this so-called ER, thanks for ruining my mom's birthday, thanks for absolutely nothing.

I was given a room right after arriving. The staff were kind and responsive to my needs. Dr. Mark Ortolani was very knowledgable and quick to answer my questions. He made me feel like I was a friend. That helped me relax and be responsive to him. Great attitude and personality. I will certainly go to Advent Health ER in Belleview, FL when ever the need arises.
