Both times I’ve had to go to this ER have been awful. First time I was ignored and the nurse was so rude to myself and my wife despite me being as polite as possible. Second time they completely ignored my complaints and sent me home with a GI cocktail. I was told it was probably a stomach ulcer causing my pain. After a single exam with my PCP two weeks later, it was found that my gallbladder needed to be removed within the next week due to severe swelling, pain, stones, and sludge in my gallbladder. My surgeon used this hospital for my surgery. Pre Op nurse was an absolute delight and made me feel very comfortable. Post Op nurse was rude and trying to tell me I was being dramatic because she wanted to go home and I was the last patient in recovery. The nurses are rude and not considerate of patients at all. The doctor for my second visit was very courteous and polite but didn’t do very much to try and help find out what was wrong. Truly advise everyone to go somewhere else for emergency care if possible. Awful staff, patient care, and the billing department has no idea what they’re doing. Have never felt this ignored by an entire department of staff like I have here.

Had a great experience! The ER staff were very informative and courteous. I had to have a blood transfusion and I was very nervous about it. They were very understanding and gave me time to make my decision without any pressure. Avery was a wonderful nurse.

My stay overnight was pleasant too. All my doctors were very helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. My nurse, Beth Ann Senderak, was amazing! Would highly recommend this hospital and their friendly staff.

The staff on the 4th floor are so caring and extremely kindness . Very social with the patients.
I would highly recommend Castle Rock hospital to my friends. Plus Dr.Mobley. He did all my back surgeries. 4 hours at Sky Ridge in 2004-2007and as of yesterday.

Great experience!! Had surgery there everyone was super helpful nurses to the anesthesia doctors. Once in recovery continuous checking on me. When moved to my room the nurses on the floor were super sweet and helpful. Shoutout to Hydee on the night shift BEST nurse I have ever experienced.She was supportive, informative and very pleasant to have taking care of me.

Fantastic! The facility is beautifully appointed and comfortable. I had a great experience with ALL staff I encountered on my day of surgery. I was very nervous about my procedure, but staff settled my nerves with questions or concerns I had. My overall experience while at the hospital was very positive, and I spent 12 hours there!

Wonderful staff. The care was fantastic. Always checking to see what I needed or what could be done better. Obviously no one wants to be in the hospital, however, it happens and this one is one of the best. Plus they have a serious love for large windows so have there are beautiful views of the landscapes.

Castle Rock Hospital isn't interested in you as a patient, what they are interested in is your pocketbook. I was referred to this hospital because I needed a CT scan for further investigation of a potential issue. I wasn't given any information regarding my test, ie how long it would take, what to expect, etc. When I questioned this practice of not allowing the patient vital information about the test, I was met with excuses for their incompetence. Apparently, they feel it's the requesting physician's job to inform the patient of what to expect during the test/procedure. That's ridiculous. How does a physician know how long I'll be in the waiting room for my CT scan or any of the other things specific to the test/procedure? I certainly wouldn't ask a CT tech about what to expect at a doctor's appointment! Ultimately I asked friends and family members who are in the medical field what happened during my test. They were both shocked at the low level of care I received and encouraged me to look for another hospital should I need further tests. Perhaps the Radiology techs at Castle Rock Hospital don't know their jobs very well and therefore aren't capable of providing information.

If you're looking for a hospital...look elsewhere, you'll be thankful you did.

I must say that in the past I have had some reservations about this hospital but had to report on this recent visit at Advent Health. This past Friday, I was rushed to the ER with a life threatening emergency. At first, we all weren't sure of my condition but noticed the amount of blood that I was losing.

Without giving full details of my condition, I want to personally thank Nurse Britney in the ER who noticed how much blood I was losing by measuring it. This one moment is when doctors and nurses realized how severe my condition really was. They all acted accordingly and moved to mitigate the emergency.

I experienced an overall feeling of concern from the staff as they acted to save my life. I started to vagul but they stabilized me with two blood transfusions and rushed me into emergency surgery.

After that, I was admitted into the ICU. I also want to personally thank Nurse Mike in the ICU for his amazing, experienced, kind, skillful, patient and reassuring approach to me. Your bed side manners are truly remarkable and your 32 years of service is definitely noticeable. Thank You Very Much!
