I had a horrible experience at this ER. I brought my daughter in for a head injury, and didn't see a doctor for two hours. They didn't come in to check on her or monitor her. The doctor gave me no orders of things to look out for, or monitor her while she sleeps. $635 billion for them to look in her ears with a light. We left with no idea if she was actually okay, after showing signs of a concussion.

I brought my son a couple of months ago to this ER and I wanted to give them a second chance. He was having trouble breathing in the middle of the night so I rushed him up there at midnight. They did a chest xray and then we didn't see the doctor for over an hour: I had to go find the doctor in the hallway to find out what was taking so long. They said they didn't come back in to our room because they haven't figured out what was wrong. I went to the pediatrician after two days of him not improving where they got the results from the hospital X-rays. It showed pneumonia and the pediatrician put him on the correct antibiotic and improved significantly that evening. Never got a follow up phone call from the hospital.

No sense of urgency. No sense of care. I give a ton of grace, but this was horrible care.

The Dr and medical group were very attentive and made me feel at ease and comfortable. Although I was in pain, they understood my needs. Advent Health has always been at the top of the list of my preferred hospital.

I went to the AdventHealth ER after being referred by urgent care for sharp abdominal pain. The staff was kind and took good care of me. I was seen by a nurse practitioner, had bloodwork done, and underwent a CT scan. However, the cost was shocking—$17,000 for the visit, and even with insurance, I ended up paying $2,400 out of pocket. The care was decent, but the pricing is absolutely outrageous. If you can avoid it, I wouldn’t recommend going here.

This is THE only ER I would go to in my area! The staff is super attentive, friendly, and professional! The care they give is amazing, and they truly care about the patient and their well-being! I will never consider another ER for me or my family!

Received excellent care. I fell & hit my head on the corner of an end table. 11 staples were applied to the wound. A CT scan was taken & all seemed well. A friend of mine told me she had a head wound & it took 8 months before they discovered a brain bleed. Would the CT scan that Advent Health took on 12/28/24 show a brain bleed & should I follow up with more tests?

I went to the ER for something urgent, and they prescribed me a special medication that had to be ordered and would take four days to arrive. When I told them about the delay, they just said to wait it out. But if someone goes to the ER, it’s because they need help right away, not days later.

Then, they suggested I come back to be reevaluated by a different doctor to get another ointment. I have insurance, so the cost would be covered, but what about people who don’t have insurance? Are they really expected to pay for another $500 ER visit when they just paid for one the day before? That doesn’t seem fair or right.

I have absolutely nothing positive to say about the nurse who was assigned to take care of me. However, two nurses were very pleasant, the charge nurse did listen to my complaints, the two X-ray/CT techs were very kind, and the physician assistant I saw was very professional and compentent.
