I had a great experience with the ER staff recently after a bad experience in the woods. I fell from a tree stand while hunting and was in pain so I went to the ER. From the time we arrived till the time I left, I was treated with top notch care. I was checked on frequently and was never left wondering about a thing. The nursing staff was absolutely the best. We all had a laugh as one of the x ray techs made me a “gift” due to my injury. Hopefully I don’t have to go back but if I do, I know I will have damn great care. Thank you all for a great ER experience. It’s not like going to the ER is a fun thing to do ever but I had a blast.

Staff is extraordinary!! From check in through discharge every member was friendly,, knowledgeable, and so willing to help!! We have just been in the area for a little over three weeks and left very good medical providers and the Mercy hospital system with a bit of trepidation. We had not yet secured a primary in the area and we're really worried about a trip to the ER with no doctors we personally knew To advise us. Advent Health not only took care of the emergency needs but also gave us information and contacts that has guided us to secure a Primary Doctor and Specialists we needed. It was a great relief to have this important part of our relocation made easy by advent. I want to also commend the scheduling department who, once contacted, went above and beyond to help us find physicians!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I left AMA from this hospital due to malpractice. I was in for Pancreatitis levels over 4K triglycerides. They took me off strong medication even though I told them I was going to horrible pancreatic pain. They never did an ultrasound, x ray or a scan to check the amount of inflammation in my pancreas to make a decision if I was really in need of pain meds or not. At this point I felt they were judging me that I was lying about my pain. I’m still going through pain now. I took pictures on how they left my arm so I would think twice before going to this hospital. I also told them I was getting allergies from the heart monitor stickers which they were supposed to change every 24HR if you get that irritation. I was there for a week… they changed it once. I was in 22 ICU… how can this happen?

I love the new protocol they are doing from the waiting room! From triage, to blood work, to diagnostic testing, and when you get called back to a room all your results are in, and it's a quick and easy process! The whole staff is super friendly, and so helpful. They answer every question you have and take their time with you so you can understand it. I honestly give this hospital a 5 star rating due to my full experience there!

My belly button has been bleeding and had blood clots coming out of it for 2 days in and off. I have a umbilical hernia. And I was having a lot of pain So I went to the E.R. I was told my hernia was incarcerated. The PA said she need to try and push it back in. If it didn't go back in surgery would be needed. She tilted me in a steep downward slant feet in air both rails up and shoved on my already painful stomach for several minutes.After pushing It didn't go back in so she said she would go get the surgeon. She came back and with out the surgeon and said the surgeon said I'm not a option for surgery. Im to dangerous to operate on maybe someone else would but I'd need to lose weight before anyone would. She than said someone would be back with discharge paperwork. She left me in the slanted position I couldn't get to my call light. She was never rude and had a kind demeanor. I think she was uncomfortable telling me what the surgeon had said.
I am heavy. 345 pounds, I'm not sick or disabled due to my weight and can't fathom why this would matter if it was an emergency. I was given an antibiotic to go home with no hernia support band and I'm just in shock with the level care the last 2 times my family has needed advent emergency services. I've always thought as of advent highest standards and not so much anymore

Scheduled appointment for ER 15 minutes prior to arrival, on the advent app. Walked in and was taken back immediately, no wait! The entire staff was amazing from check in to d/c. My daughter was in the pediatric ER and everyone was so nice and put her at ease. X-ray tech was especially great with kids! My daughter was discharged within 90 minutes. This has been our third time using the pediatric ER, and we have had great care each time.

The care I received from the entire staff at Advent Health was wonderful. The ER crew work together in unison serving careful, thorough and knowledgeable care. The nurse assigned to my care was Ramon-Mai. She was understanding and empathetic. Thank you for taking such good care of me!

I was extremely pleased with my emergency visit Saturday night. Could not have been better! The staff was fantastic. I was in and out in a little over 4 hours - even with a CT scan. Have praised the hospital and staff. Also LOVE the painted fishes on the walls directin
