I took my son to the ER after going to a different Advent Urgent Care facility and was told he needed to go directly to the ER for difficulty breathing and his cough. The wait was long- 2 hours before being brought back and another hour before seeing the doctor. I did have Dr. Shokur who was phenomenal. He took the time to answer all questions and explain the procedures and possibilities of the night. We were also very happy with our nurse (I believe her name was Candace). She was patient and had great bedside manner. X-ray staff was great. However, my son had to be administered oxygen and the staff member responsible didn’t seem prepared or knowledgeable in supporting pediatrics and eventually didn’t go through with this. Overall, we were pleased and will return.

I broke my ankle by bimalleolar fracture. Came in with the ambulance. They were so very careful. The hospital staff was so careful too and Dr Parks was very helpful and funny. Made my visit less painful. They placed my ankle in place under sedation and accommodated me with crutches. So grateful for the staff. Will definitely visit again if I have to.

This was my first time at this hospital. And when I walked in.I can't tell you how nice it is. It's very clean and new, by far the staff is what makes it wonderful. My Dr. (BULLOCK) WAS THOROUGH, ATTENTIVE AND VERY COMPASSIONATE. My nurse (LATOYA) is one of a kind, so friendly and compassionate. She was also the very first one who brought a smile to my face feeling sick.. everyone i came into contact with was just so caring, this is absolutely a five star hospital.. Great Job you all.. and thank you for your help.

I took my friend to the new AdventHealth ER in Riverview Battiston was the nurse, and he was patient, calm, and very knowledgeable. I said patient because it was hard for him to understand what he was saying, but he took his time not rushing him, not even getting frustrated. to make sure he understood why is he in that situation. I will say this if they keep up that great service/care this Hospital will be the best in Riverview. Started with the front desk greeting until you get to the room it is nothing but great care and great service . It gives you hope that your loved one is in good hand's

I am extremely disappointed with the care (or lack thereof) I received at this hospital. I waited for four hours in the waiting room/lobby experiencing chest pains, a headache, and very high blood pressure. When I approached the receptionist to ask about my situation, I was told by the nurse that my case was considered "low priority" because all the rooms were full.

This response was completely unacceptable given my symptoms, which could indicate a serious medical emergency. After being dismissed in such a careless manner, I decided to leave and seek treatment at Saint Joseph, where I was seen promptly and treated with care and professionalism.

The lack of urgency, compassion, and efficiency at this hospital is alarming. It's clear that they prioritize convenience over patient care. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. If you value your health and time, go elsewhere—your life may depend on it.

This ER should have never opened! My visit this last Sunday early a.m. was very poor! With the exception of one nurse who mostly did her job and was very time. They took me right in but the rest of my stay for almost 12 hours was terrible. They're understaffed and there is a lot of walking back and forth by your door and no one stops when you need them. The doctors could be better. I need to take the add that they have on TV that says how caring and how they will take care of you and how everyone is smiling false advertisement. I will never go to this place again and I was given the wrong impression that this would be a better than the other ones I had issues with. I will just do a complete circle and just go back to the one that is nearest to my house and if I have any bad experience there at least I and closer to I can't just leave if I'm able to walk or crawl out of there. To say I was very disappointed! I am adding a new update to my existing review. I say I'm the bottom where they asked me to contact somebody and I will not do that. I already got an email from the president and CEO of this hospital called Jason Newmeyer back around November 24 2024. I was sent a review survey from him and I gave the complete bad review plus incidences that went on while I was at the ER, and he has ignored my review survey. Also FYI be very alert about any billing that you get from any ER visit or Hospital stay that you get from this hospital. They use several third party billing companies who seemed to say that the hospital did not give them your insurance information and I found that that is not 100% true but partly true in what I just endured recently. I got three separate bills one within a couple of days after my emergency room visit from the radiology department for $88, a third party Bill almost $1,000 from the Outsource doctors that they use in the emergency department, and another $88 bill from the labs that I had drawn also from a third party billing. On all bills they came through text, email, and by mail to me. I had to get my insurance company involved in all three because when you call these people they do not answer the phone and buy one I was told they did not have my insurance information but I pointed out that right next to my address on the same line that they had my insurance ID number so how come they have that and then they say they don't have my insurance information? Between me and my insurance company we spent too many hours trying to get all this fixed. Call the billing office at Advent health and it turns out that the billing people work at home there is no actual billing office at the hospital. The girl I spoke to did not seem to know much about the Third party billing. I still have not received a bill from the emergency room which is the only one according to my insurance company that I am responsible for and that is the hundred-dollar copay for going to the emergency room. Again I stress this Hospital should have never opened as they were not ready to take patients give them the proper care that they should have gotten and their billing can cost people money that they should not have to pay one reason people might pay the money is because the letters and other ways that they contact you the billing paper sound kind of threatening like you have 21 days to pay the bill are in big bold red and blue letters it says do upon receipt, or do now! So if you can't reach anybody get your insurance company involved and they write notes in their computer to cover all that goes on. As I said I will never go back to this ER hospital again! The advertisement of good care in brochures and on TV and an exposed all false very deceitful

Beautiful MashAllah this hospital was very necessary. It is nice like the Wesley Chapel Hospital the one in Tampa is very bad and 7+ hour wait times this one is in and out everyone was very nice.

Cafe is also very nice please consider adding more things like falafel and hummus and other things and more tea based drinks.

The whole of the entire is very nice and beautiful this is very homely for a hospital patient rooms are separated fully they cannot hear the noise of the common room in the main ER entrance. This place is of healing and also automatic piano just like Wesley Chapel nice smoothing music.

The ladies in the phlebotomist ladies were so kind and didn't feel anything.

I went here based on the prior reviews it was the afternoon of New Year's Eve. Very few cars in the parking lot. I had a nurse poked her head in and said she would be with me in a few minutes she never ever came back. 3 hours and nobody even acknowledged my problem. I wound up leaving and going to another emergency room. I can't say enough bad about this location you have choices anywhere else would be better.

Go up
