I loved the staff! Johnnie and the shorter than me RN, I think her name was Michelle, and the guy who did the cscan- they were all so friendly and explained everything perfectly to me as we were going through it. They put me at ease in my emergency state I was in. I do hope to never see them again but would highly recommend this ER team! Thank you all for your help for me and my MIL

I had a horrible experience I was there for over 13 hours for a blood transfusion my monitor went off constantly and I had to go find a nurse just to come tell me it’s my fault cause of my levels and that there was nothing wrong but it would go off for hours before I couldn’t stand it and went to ask them to turn it off again !! I asked for a pad and was told no they don’t have any, basically deal with the bleeding not their problem! I asked for something for a horrible headache multiple times over my 13 hours and never got anything!! The dr came in flipped on the lights yelled” the transfusion is done follow up with your doctor” turned around and left the room didn’t even ask if I had questions left the light on and that’s the one time I saw him! And they charged me a 250 co pay which my insurance dosent even have record of!!!

It was the worse experience I have ever had at an Emergency Room. Everything started alright . Triage was fine I received my X rays . I waited for 20 minutes to see the doctor in the waiting room, not in a medical room. I was called back to see the doctor but a nurse came back after 10 minutes to have me sign out. She didn't ask any questions, nor ask me questions of why i was there. I felt as if I was forced to leave . I tried asking questions at the help desk and they weren't any help and seemed as if they did not care. I will never go there again nor will I have my family or friends be seen there either. The absolute worse customer service I have ever had in a medical setting.

The doctor here listened and diagnosed my heart attack quickly and saved my life when I had a widow maker. I will forever be grateful. I've had several more visits, and they're always nice.

My husband of 25 years and I arrived at Rollins Brook at 630 am Saturday, October 5, and were called back pretty quickly. He is a COPD and CHF patient & was diagnosed with pneumonia shortly after arrival. During the treatment period (MRI, xray, wait for results), the 2 nurses on staff had been cordial, but not friendly, that’s fine, they have a job to do. At some point I asked for a urinal for my husband and received it by the female nurse, Kendra, she came into the room several minutes later and asked if she could empty the urinal or if I got it. I said, “got it, thanks” and smiled at her. She left, and the male nurse, Sean came in shortly after to draw blood for a 48 hour culture. His mood had shifted but we didn’t know why, once again, he has a job to do. My husband’s vein blew almost immediately, but Sean decided to “try to squeeze out enough blood to make do”. My husband has had a lot of labs done over the years and is not one to complain, but “OUCH” escaped his lips. Sean left the room and came back again to say he was going to put an antibiotic in the IV and it would take about an hour. When we asked why, Sean spun around and glared at me and said, in an extremely accusatory tone, “did you call the other nurse a b>>#h” I said “excuse me?” My husband said “that never happened”. Sean looked at my husband and said “she’s been confrontational ever since you got here and I believe she did” (I had not been confrontational at all) he then proceeded, (as I , 5’ & 125 lbs, was seated on the end of the bed & my husband in a wheelchair beside the bed) to stand over me (he is easily 6’) and berate me while pointing at the zero tolerance sign on the wall. My husband asked if I could believe what was happening and I told him I was mentally taking notes. Sean then grabbed his name tag, reeled it out and shoved it 2” from my face and said “make sure you get the name right” My husband said it was time to go and Sean turned to him and very condescendingly said “sir, I think you should stay, your wife shouldn’t stop you”. My husband told me to take him to the car, Sean stood between me and my husband, told me very dismissively “you go get the car, I’ll take care of him” and continued trying to convince my husband to stay. As it turns out, my “got it, thanks” was what was misinterpreted, my question over the medication was considered confrontational and I, as a result was bullied by a man almost twice my size over a false allegation which was made by a woman who couldn’t ask for clarification of my statement herself, who also was larger than I. I called the administration as soon as we got home Saturday and was told that the main administration would call Monday morning. It is now Wednesday, and I’ve heard nothing. The blown vein that Sean caused kept my husband from moving his wrist comfortably for several days and still has not healed as the enclosed photos depict. On Saturday, October 5, Sean and Kendra absolutely did NOT demonstrate the healing ministry of Christ, they caused a huge conflict causing a very sick man to walk out rather than have his wife suffer further abuse from the staff.

I called ahead to let the ER know we were coming when my 10 month old fell and hit his head. We were taken back quickly after registration. The nurse was friendly and patient with us. The doctor was very direct and gave a detailed explanation for his assessment. We appreciated his candor. Overall a good experience during a difficult evening. I was impressed for it being a smaller hospital.
