Friendliest overall Christian staff in the world! Nurses Roanna? Stephanie, Vitals Technicians Dennis (Omg! So sweet and kind to me! Stopped by and sat with me every chance he got!) I was there on a court ordered “Baker Act” willing admission that found mild dementia and had to have a “sitter” or security person in my room 24/7. (When he, a Dr. or Nurse was in the room, security or sitter could go on a short “break” to use a washroom or get a bite to eat. There were lots of other great super friendly sitters that waited on me like I was at a spa! They would pick up trash, keep the room clean, listen politely, give their best advice and were fountains of knowledge that could either answer my every question no matter how trivial or complex,

These sitter acted along with the single arm that staffed the open 34/7 nurses station and the one technician who would o Vitals.and the ones that took blood like a well ordered machine. It was truly a wonder to beholds!

The only things that were disappointing was the food service department, one of the sitters, who slept through 3or4 hours of his shift, and never helped or interacted with me. Hostile and threatening darker skinned gentlemen that claimed he always snorted when leaning on one arm concentrating on his phone.

Food was outstanding every day and night, but room service very dissatisfied.

Order was consistently wrong like I received someone else’s meal. Order it was missing vital components. Other things were every single time there was no flattest to eat with and they refused to send any, said was ordered to go and I was not eligible to receive any!!!!

To much more and too many people to credited! Super sutterscwerea\Red haired beauty with awesome tattles , several other young super nice techs, nurses, blood takers, etc that would give them breaks.

Always answered all call lights or service requests, like bringing me fresh ice water, warm blankets, and anything else my heart desired including lots of yummy snaks ice cream, chips, puddings, jellos, sauces, condiments. Truly felt like I had wondered into a fully staffed resort!

Highly recommend this wonderful, Hod Fearung, super friendly atmosphere, the dedicated professional do- anything’s in takes Eden in Lake land Florida! Loved everything about it and the good service issues seemed very minor after the fact, because they immediately corrected all issues. Even if it meant the meal would be late. Five thousands stars for this Hospital Sytem, DraMohammed, and too many fine mental health counselor s like Derrick and his super dreads. Wonderfully friendly super professional, brutally honest,?knowledgablr and my fried. Love you brother !

Absolutely mind blown by the lack of compassion, empathy and care at this hospital today. My best friend who has several autoimmune diseases and has been bed bound for a month plus went in for severe pressure and pain in her spine for being extremely compacted/ constipated (2weeks). She has been puking over the weeks, is unable to produce fevers due to several other immune compromised issues, blood disease etc and most likely has an infection. She went in for relief hoping to find somebody who would listen to her as many doctors preform Incorrect tests or treat her like she is a text book case. The nurse she had was amazing, and was going to run a CT scan with Contrast as needed yet as the Dr walked by he said he would refuse to put order through because she has no fever and was not puking. He looked straight at my friend and said he would "not prescribe pain pills" I am in shock! This was not only extremely disrespectful, but completely uncalled for as my friend would never take pills even though she is in tremendous pain because she knows how addicting they are and doesn't need any more problems on top of everything going on. This Dr. took 0 time to see my friend as a human there in a situation between life and death as she has been extremely ill for a decade. My friend left feeling defeated, has barely any more fight in her and DR. Hardison in the ER who is supposed to help people is obviously unhappy, overwhelmed and completely cold. I am so sad that this happened and it seems criminal. I will be filing an official complaint. I am so heartbroken. This should not happen to anybody. Doctors need to slow down, remember why they got Into this profession and remember some people are more ill than they can imagine.

Got right in no waiting. Service was very thorough and quick until I gave a urine specimen then had wait for results and Dr discharge. In and out in 3 hours. Several tests performed. Very happy they covered all bases and I left feeling well taken care of.

Before I ever arrived, I was already so upset that I was spending my New Year’s Eve in the ED with my little.. I stood there waiting for an elderly patient to finish using the kiosk as I held a sick 30lb child in my arms. As soon as I sit, it’s finally my turn at kiosk. When I get there I’m so worried about how I’m supposed to hold my sick baby, my pocketbook, and now I have to work this stupid machine? NOPE! I was greeted immediately with a nurse who happily said “I’m here to help you” and she did. We got the information input, she helped us to a seat. Of course there’s a lobby with several others, and who wants to spend their evening here, especially NYE. That nurse was so attentive, from concerned about comfort and temperature and updating the status. The NP seen us right away, we did our tests and we sat to rest and await. Meanwhile, our nurse checked on us several times, offering ice packs for fever and some ice chips, which my baby boy LOVED! She maintained communication and apologized for the wait(which wasn’t even long!). I left that evening with a totally different attitude from when I went in. I was surprised, but very pleased with the service provided and the staff had amazing bedside manners and demeanors. I felt the staff was very efficient and I was very grateful for the assistance while we were there. Thank you all, bravo!!

We brought our daughter in because she was wheezing with a cough. We were taken directly back to the ER room after only a few minutes. They checked everything, and decided to give her a breathing treatment (2X). The NP wanted to do an xray to rule out pneumonia. We agreed to that, then he came back in and kept mentioning that she could have asthma, because she has eczema. My daughter has 0 symptoms that would suggest she has asthma, and has never shown any breathing troubles since birth. He wanted to do a 2nd xray on her neck, and we agreed to it. We found out she was negative for Covid, FLU, and RSV; She had some type of cold virus causing bronchitis. He then came in and kept suggesting asthma more because she has eczema. Her pediatrician is an actual doctor, a great one, and has never suggested that. We know her eczema is gut related do to the fact of when she eats certain things, she has flare-ups, and we explained that to the NP. He then wanted to do a CAT scan, and we said absolutely not. I asked "can you guarantee 20 years from now, my daughter wont have complications from that amount of radiation?" His reply "No." He even mentioned there was a handful of young kids who were "also getting CAT scans". That was very disheartening to hear, because that can lead to bigger health issues later in life. We decided to leave as soon as possible. This guy made us very uncomfortable, and we felt like leaving was the right thing to do. We had to sign papers to saying we left "against medical advice" because we wouldn't allow our 3 yr old to get a CAT scan. We took our precription paperwork, and went home. Our daughter got better with ZERO complications.

It's a good thing we decided against the CAT scan. There was NO reason to expose our 3 year old daughter to that amount of radiation. The entire time we were there, we never saw an actual doctor, it was just the Nurse Practitioner on a crusade....Who tried really hard to push things we disagreed with as parents and also tried to make a medical diagnosis with no evidence to support his "ideas". I have spoken to other medical professionals from bigger and better hospitals on the coast... and they agreed we made the right decision to leave. Although the nurses seemed frustrated at our decision, they forget it's the parents responsibility to determine what's best for their children. It's so frustrating to feel like our medical care system here does not have the best interest of the patient anymore. We won't be back there. I will drive 2 hrs to go to anywhere else. I wonder how many people have been exposed to procedures unnecessarily, have died, and/or who don't have any family to stand up for them and knew to ask questions like we did when something was off. It's truly sad!!!

Well, I'm not the happiest with the service that I have got from my doctor especially my blood pressure is running 170 790 something and about 90 on the bottom number I'm trying to get a hold of my doctor to get my medicine adjusted. However, I can't seem to get a response. He wants me to come in pay another $35 special office call when he already knows the medication that I am taking. I'm thinking. I think he knows the medication that I am taking and he can adjust it from his office without another $35 co-pay to regulate it in the mornings where it is seems to be the highest then I go back on another day for another office call and another $35 at this point we're looking at $70. I don't see the need for an office call and besides he has not responding to me in regard to my problem with high blood pressure. That's how satisfied I am.

Took lil one in for pelvic pain and pain while urinating. Dr swabbed her for Covid/rsv/flu and ran a urine test. Urine came back abnormal (uti) and flu was positive. Dr told me that she had flu and nothing was wrong with urine. I asked for a second opinion and was told no and shipped us out the door. She ran 103.7-105.6 fevers for 2 days before I could get her into peds office. Her pediatrician was NOT happy. Needless to say, now my child is on antibiotics for a uti, has the flu and bronchitis. Absolutely DISLIKE that Dr!!! Her neglect towards an 8yo female with pelvic pain/dysuria could have caused other health problems.

My experience is always pleasant and welcome especially when I have my little ones with me, the staff is always attentive and supportive, encouraging me to ask questions and answering any questions I may have. This I truly appreciate about the staff at AdventHealth Sebring ER. 10’s all across the board.
