So thankful for the wonderful staff who assisted my 3 year old during our very scary middle of the night emergency visit. We were met with kindness and compassion from the very beginning with the receptionist, to the intake nurse, NP- Joseph Piccola, Doctor Yeh, and the xray tech! We were here on vacation visiting from Texas so we had no idea where to go, forever thankful we ended up at Anaheim Regional Medical Center.

I am extremely disappointed with this hospital, I am from Romania and my wife was here because she felt sick, being 4 months pregnant and she kept me waiting for 3 hours and in the end they didn't do anything to her, and I left the emergency room,,,,,,, you are useless

Actually the staffs are nice and helpful. My bfs had some problems and went emergency room, and they helped a lot, even the security man in the front. We had to stay there two night. While we waited for the bed and still stayed in the emergency room, although it’s almost 12 AM, but some nurses still talked and laughed very loud. I know they worked very hard and it’s hard when they work night time, but I wonder if they think they bother patients while they have to deal with their sickness. But generally, this hospital is very good. They made us think we’re not alone, and they helped as they can.

Most of the individual people we spoke to were very patient and nice, but I would absolutely not recommend coming here if you are struggling with your mental health. The entire process is not at all comforting and will honestly make your suicidal tendencies worse. We waited over 12 hours just to speak to someone over Zoom for about 10 minutes because there are no in-house psychiatrists or mental health professionals. There are also zero accommodations for people on the autism spectrum. The entire environment is incredibly overstimulating and even while having a breakdown nobody would help or accommodate my partner’s needs. They also apparently switched up his lab results with somebody else’s because the psychiatrist we spoke to (on Zoom) said that he tested positive for amphetamines and fentanyl which was absolutely not true, and then said that there were just “a lot of patients that night” and things probably got mixed around. That is absolutely unacceptable. I have a lot of empathy for those who work in the ER and I’m not blaming anyone individually. Again, the nurses and the person who was watching us were very kind and made things more bearable. But I want everyone else to know that this is not the place if you are having suicidal tendencies or are on the autism spectrum because it will be an absolute nightmare and waste of your time.

I don’t know why this hospital has gotten a bad reputation in its area over the years. However, personally I gave birth here on 09-20-23 and EVERYONE (the security guards, receptionists, L&D nurses, lactation consultant, OBGYN, pediatrician, and anesthesiologist) were absolutely incredible. Thank you, Anaheim Regional, for the outstanding care and service you provided to me and my family.

Longest wait I've ever experienced. Told by staff could be 5 hour wait. Place is filthy, and unsanitary. It definatly makes me apreciate the health care in Utah.
