We had a wonderful experience in the ER @ Seton Hayes. Although it was a busy Saturday night, every person we encountered was great. The doctor was kind & helpful. He listened to my concerns. He went above & beyond to explain everything & to make sure I felt comfortable taking my daughter home. The nurses were the true hero’s. They were all awesome. They were patient & attentive. Thank you to everyone that helped make my scary ER visit pleasant. I would definitely recommend this ER. We received GREAT care!

Very impressed with the atmosphere the professionalism of the staff. Everything was smooth. The transition process going in getting checked out by the nurses the preliminary check-in. Also, the doctors and the nurse is in the back. The staff all kept me informed and in the loop so I felt very comfortable and confident that they were gonna do a good job.
There was only one snag, apparently my cardiologist, Dr. Scott Solomon with Austin Hart out of San Marcos is not in the Ascension group of insurance or communication to him hamper ed
Made me feel that there was breakdown in the communication between the doctors and my cardiologist and it was important that we all be on the same page

I can’t speak for the whole hospital but I can say that my experience with the ED was exceptional. I was seen and cared for within minutes of my arrival. The staff in the ED and radiology departments were incredible. The nurses were so attentive and caring and in my most vulnerable moments of uncertainty they made me feel safe. I can’t say enough great things about them. A heartfelt thank you for all you do!

What a shining difference from my previous experiences at Seton this month from a serious crash I endured. This was my first time going to the Kyle location. I came into the ER and was taken back right away to a room where I could be horizontal in a hospital bed. Vitals checked, changed into a gown and set up for all necessary initial evaluation. I was listened to by the nurses and doctor of what my condition was. Tests were done as far as what my insurance would allow. The doctor was really trying to get me an MRI but my insurance requires a referral by my PCP before proceeding. That’s a whole different story of jumping through insurance hoops when a knowledgeable doctor is right there and examining me. My PCP can’t see me for months and my condition is acute. So I was given pain meds and hooked up to monitors for testing and they requested records from the last two hospitals to see what had been done, so double tests wouldn’t be performed and waste more time. I was referred to a specialist to follow up within the Seton system there in Kyle and given prescriptions to a pharmacy to be filled.
I would recommend this ER to anyone. At least my experience I felt I was coming to an efficient and knowledgeable staff and facility.

We arrived here for a family emergency and immediately felt we were being cared for and in good hands. All staff was incredibly attentive and kind. It is difficult to find providers who truly listen and pay attention to patients but all the staff we interacted with here did so. They also shared wonderful resources for aftercare. Many thanks, y'all!

The staff was friendly and efficient. The Nurse Practitioner was knowledgeable, sympathetic and listened. The lab tests were arranged quickly and the nurse did the best possible job with multiple swabs for multiple tests. The discharge nurse was helpful and informative. Overall, a good experience, only thing better is not being sick.

The ED was slammed, no rooms available and people literally in beds along the hallways. Despite the chaos, all the providers from the nurses to the PCT that transported to CT and PA Marcus, were friendly, courteous, and took their time with us and never made us feel rushed. I was really impressed with that and appreciated their concern and the time they spent answering questions. From check in to discharge it took 3 hours. 5 stars for the staff that treated us with kindness and patience in the middle of chaos. My only complaint and reason for the 4 stars is that there should be more attention paid to infection control. The results waiting area is packed with sick people and I don’t think chairs are wiped down, iv supplies and meds on the portable computers, gloves on but touching computer or the equipment then back to the patient.

Everything is good. Only complaint i have is my sister is very cold natured and care team always come draw blood, take blood sugar, or take vital signs they are very poor with pulling covers back on my sister after they uncover her. Oh and the night I brought my sister into ER 12/25/2024 there was a young man by the name of Adrian who work the ER her was my sister nurse. he was very helpful in lifting my sister, caring and professional.
