It was a real pleasure to visit Baptist Memorial Hospital. I was simply amazed at the compassion and patience shown me by the nursing staff, as well as conversations which played an important role in helping me to feel comfortable and to ensure me that I was in the right place to be helped. Thank you to a wonderful nursing staff! Keep up the great work because we need you. I pray that your days in the medical field continue to be a driving force in your lives, guided by our Savior, Jesus Christ! May God continue to protect you and keep you in his care. Haven’t been to an emergency hospital in years. I was greeted professionally and caring. Was taken back immediately. The staff was very thorough and caring. I was so nervous. Left knowing I was ok, but to follow up with either my PCP or cardiologist. Everyone was super nice. Definitely knew I was in good hands.

My visit was very pleasant, the staff from the time you walk in the door at 5 am until you leave make you feel like they care about you. The surgery staff, the Dr., the anesthesiologist, they took such good care of me. Such a great team! Thank you to all and may God bless you.

I was extremely disappointed with the care I received from my nurse, Donna after my surgery on December 2 & 3rd, 2024. She demonstrated zero lack of compassion and attentiveness to my needs. When I requested assistance for pain relief, she completely ignored me and a little later was met with impatience and dismissive remarks. Besides not having any compassion whatsoever, she was cruel and hateful. This was not only witnessed from myself, but my husband and mother as well.
Donna failed to check in on me regularly, leaving me feeling neglected and unsupported during my recovery. As an example, an ace type bandage was wrapped around my left wrist during my first day of surgery and was to be removed afterwards, which she did not do, as a result, my circulation was cut off and that wrist and arm was covered in purple and black bruises. When I went to preop for my 2nd day of surgery, 2 other assistants noticed this, immediately removed the ace bandage and were floored that this was not removed the night before.
This experience made an already difficult time more stressful and uncomfortable. While I understand that healthcare professionals face many challenges, I expected a basic level of empathy and care, which I did not receive.
After my 2nd day of surgery, I was unfortunately sent back to the same floor and had to put up with even worse behavior by Donna. It took her forever to come to my room and she continued to make excuses as to why. She became very impatient and started yelling at me, telling me the patient across the hall had a seizure and another patient next door probably would not be making it home. Although this was very sad to hear, as you know, was it was a HIPPA violation to share patient diagnosis with someone else, while also showing a lack of professionalism.
I would appreciate a follow up phone call from your head of nursing to further discuss my experience.

From start to finish, the staff at Baptist Memorial ER in Arlington was 5 star. The nursing staff and PA Brooklyn were kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and efficient, explaining everything. The radiology staff and the front desk check-in were great. Even as the ER became busier they were able to manage their time accordingly. Thank you Brooklyn, Nia and radiology for being so kind and patient while taking care of my injury.

Need to do a better job policing this brand. Medical adjacent business people sit in the main lobby on the phone cursing and using extremely rude euphemisms and slurs about women. I was in the lobby for extended time while my person napped and probably 25 other hospital employees and security walked by this man loudly demeaning his female colleagues on the phone and none of them did anything.

I have never been treated with such care as I've experienced at this facility. The staff was kind, concerned and very accommodating in making sure that you are comfortable.
I thank God for the experience. One more thing, I feel that these people are genuine in their caring approach.
One name I do remember was Chase, he keeps things light and airy when dealing with his patients, which kept my mind on the positive side of life.
Again, I thank God for this wonderful staff of professionals.

My experience with Baptist was A one from the time I walked in the door the morning of my surgery. I was greeted with kindness and professionalism, the triage nurse was very thorough, the nurse assigned to me was very friendly and helpful and everyone else I encountered was the same. I couldn’t ask for anything better!
