I had a really bad experience here. I thought this would be a professional and nice equipped emergency room given its location but it was the total opposite. What left me baffled is the level of care and pricing. The billing department was extremely rude and told me they could not itemize me for the bill because it goes by algorithm.. Now I’m out 1700 out of pocket for just getting a quick check up on my blood pressure. Yes, I have insurance. Next time I will just stick with an urgent care center. At least they provide me with an itemized bill when I leave and let me know how much it will be upfront. American healthcare sucks.

My 2 previous experiences here were amazing. This one was a disaster.got back to pre surgery in timely manner, vitals taken, then sat for 1 hr 10 minutes with no one checking in. Nurse finally comes back to do IV. I am a true hard stick. She tried twice, couldn’t get it. I requested it be done in surgery. Dr had OKd when he came in to mark spots. She said she would pass info to anesthesia, then she was gone again. Anesthesia came in 15 mins later. Did not know anything about my request. Anesthesia scared me to tears with reasons why I shouldn’t do that after it had been done on previous occasions without incident and much less stress. We are now 1 1/2 hours past my surgery time. No explaination or communication at all. Once she sees my tears she turns very nice and agrees to IV in OR. Unnecessary stress. Surgery nurse finally comes to get me.Gas given in OR for IV. From there on all went well. Surgery good. Meantime my friend is in waiting area for news on me and it’s taking way past original time with no info for her and no one at the desk after 3 pm to ask. She is worried. As soon as I woke up, I was ready to go. Won’t pick this center again. It’s so easy to listen to you patient and keep them informed. Fail on both.

This emergency room is the worst experience i have ever had. The staff was really rude at the front desk. You can be on instagram, and when a patient come to u for check-in, staff will look at you as if you are the problem for coming to the er disrupting their phone time smh. This place has limited room. Be careful they will place in which u think is a room but really is a walk through for the ambulance staff. How unprofessional is that? smh. This needs to be corrected. This is supposed to be uptown dallas. I guess that doesn't say too much..

My father in law was assigned here for knee surgery. The staff from beginning to end were so informative and kept us in the loop with every step. Ms. Diana Torres added extra compassion and comfortablilty to our experience.

Surgical center is phenomenal so far. Very organized. Free valet. Walked a few steps up for surgery. Front desk at surgical center checked us in, nice organized patient binder, patient advocate greeted me as a family member, provided me a packet, shared facility details. Phone charging stations, text/phone notifications for me on surgery progress. It is clear that the leadership has thought about the end to end experience for the patient as well as their supporters and the culture so far has been great by all who greeted us, valet, information desk, and the aforementioned. Great job Baylor.

Tonight was my second time at this location and both times were fantastic. Today (09/30) I came in and there was a little wait but not too bad, everyone was super kind and went above and beyond despite how busy they were. They went as far as getting me a resource list for care afterwards too. I’m super grateful, the guy that took care of me was amazing!

My husband has had two hip replacement surgeries here and I cannot say enough about the care we received. Everyone is so attentive, caring and friendly. He was in alot of pain and they worked hard and got it under control. They also were very welcoming to me asking all the time if I needed anything.

I had partial knee replacement by Dorian Wood, M.D. I was very pleased with him and my experience at this hospital. The entire staff were very helpful and warmly welcoming. I ended up with an overnight stay and the staff were extremely attentive and caring. My nurse Eddie was awesome as he was extremely attentive and helpful. To top off my stay, the food was amazing! I highly recommend any procedure at this hospital.
