I visited Ben Taub Emergency
Center last week due to severe abdominal pain, and I was impressed with the level of care I received. The front desk staff was organized and efficient in getting me checked in, and despite the ER being busy, they kept things moving as quickly as possible.The medical team was thorough in their evaluation, ensuring received the necessary tests and treatment. The Doctor who treated me was professional, attentive, and took the time to explain my condition and treatment options. The nurses were kind and supportive, making a stressful situation more manageable.
Overall, while ER visits can be long and unpredictable, I appreciate the dedication of the staff at Ben Taub.

I was mistreated at this emergency room, but my ex boyfriend got great service, so ya'll can get your little two stars because if anything would have happened to him I would have been devastated. Beyond that, I almost flipped and fell and died and to know that someone else died at this facility in the same manner is creepy. Along with the fact that I paid my medical bill, which others DO NOT do and have NO plans to do. I'm definitely filing a complaint with the Texas Insurance Complaint line because of the fact that clearly ya'll need some better help or education or something because no one I know has anything good to say about this hospital and I hear it used to be a good place to go. Over worked by the pandemic? Or just stuck in your ways and lazy, is no excuse for taking an oath and treating human beings like they don't have rights that are documented on paper. It's the lies for me. I would hope that the industry evolves to be a great one, saving lives instead of putting people in danger and making them sicker. Thanks.

Horrible , quieres obtener un total stress ven directamente a este emergencia , es lo peor que hay Dios mío pobre del que venga aquí , el trato súper improfesional está aquí empezando por el servicio de enfermeras , es un asco , quieren morirse vengan aquí que mal se siente que mal me trataron a mí pobre suegro , y ami siendo una profesional de la salud me botaron por que saben que les estaba diciendo la verdad , y lógicamente a nadie les gusta que le digan la verdad , quédense en su casa cuidar a los perros si no tienen ganas de trabajar , no son perros son pacientes , enfermos , con o sin papeles .

Horrible, you want to get total stress, come directly to this emergency, it's the worst thing there is. My God, poor whoever comes here, the super unprofessional treatment is here starting with the nursing service, it's disgusting, they want to die, come here, how bad It feels like they treated my poor father-in-law badly, and being a health professional, they threw me out because they know I was telling them the truth, and logically no one likes being told the truth, stay at home, take care of the children. Dogs if they don't want to work, they are not dogs, they are patients, sick, with or without papers.

Harris Health is The Best Hospital in Houston. The level of care is excellent. The Drs. and Nurses are very personable and they go out of their way to make sure you get the care you need!

Came with my fiance to get a check up at the ER, waited over 2 hours to be checked. Also had a lady screaming threatening that she would take somebody’s life but no arrest was made to at least escalate the situation. Also an active inmate was here as well with no officer next to him. He still had the chains around his ankle but me and my Fiance still didn’t feel safe. First and last time coming to this ER.

Ben Taub Hospital is an embracing hospital that has an extremely high influx of patients and a handful of staff, though they're more than capable of treating and tending to triage patients. It's almost surreal how smoothly they work within the chaos. Despite having to handle language barriers, various health cases, and disoriented patients I've experienced passionate doctors and nurses.

Ben Taub Hospital is within the Harris Health System and doesn't fail to treat their patient, insurance or not. The hospital is large, so there are maps to guide you to where you need to go. The facility is well lit, spacious, and sanitary. No matter how grave or minor your situation is, you need to train yourself to be realistic and hopeful. Remember, that the opportunity to be seen by a healthcare provider is a blessing.

Okay, so... in terms of wait at the ER,.. you're going to wait. A long time. Bring stuff to keep you comfortable and snacks. BUT, I went there in excruciating pain, and, once I got past the pretty awful trauma from the ER experience (with the help of the gentleman from the neurosurgery department, Dr. Maleknia), I was very well taken care of. Did I get a several thousand dollar bill later? Yes. Was the ER pretty awful? Yes. But I do believe most of them are pretty similar. Lol. But the staff working there after you get in are helpful, kind, and caring. Dr. Maleknia from the neurosurgery team that evening/weekend that went to bat for me to get me out of the immense pain that I had been in for a month already (due to cervical spinal injuries) was the absolute best, and I am so grateful that I went that day that he was there, and I can never repay him for his dedication to getting me the help that I needed while I was there. My stay this past week (after getting through the ER part) was a pleasant stay. My nurses were great and were very attentive. They made sure my concerns were addressed and that I had everything I needed. I am so thankful to all of them for all their help!

Brought my toddler in for burn treatment and we waited 1.5 hours with no service. I had to leave so we could catch Walgreens before they close. They wouldn't wash it with soap/water. Didn't give us neosporin or anything. They just let my 3 year old sit there burning for hours. I will be calling to file a report. There was also no soap in the patient restroom. Malpractice all around.
