Took my boyfriend to the ER and they falsified his medical records. He told the nurse and the physician that he was having sharp pain in his lower left abdominal quadrant, and they charted he had abdominal cramping, which can mean very different things. They charted that they listened to his bowel sounds and they were active. They never even took out a stethoscope. They charted that his stomach was nontender to palpitation, which is was. The doctor wrote in his note that he denied he had any black specks in his stool, which we explicitly asked to speak to the doctor a second time to ask about this. This is medical fraud and they’re doing this to cover themselves in case anything more serious comes about they can deny he ever said those things.

Was at Bryn Mawrs ER the other week. Absolutely the worst healthcare experience of my life. Not only was the ER completely packed and understaffed but I have to write a forewarning, the physician assistant was the worst ā€œdoctorā€ I’ve ever met. I was in pain worse than childbirth and he refused to give me a scan/gaslit me when in fact I needed surgery. I get Montgo/ Delaware County is under severe need for more healthcare centers but the staff you do have needs more training or they’re just in the wrong field. I will be sending a letter of my complete disgust in the main line system but that’s unlikely to help either.

The security guard at the ER demonstrated a severe lack of respect for people and their possessions. He routinely mocked us. He is a terrible employee with zero compassion and a complex. The doctors a a staff were good enough but I’d drive somewhere else.

I brought my 1 year old son here for trouble breathing. He was so congested he couldn’t breathe. We sat in the back for 4 hours with only oxygen on him. When we finally demanded to be transported to CHOP did the hospital do anything. They then quickly got him on IV fluids and took a chest x-ray. Never spoke to an actual doctor.

Why is it so difficult to find a spot in the Emergency Department parking lot? People other than ER patients must park there. It is very Frustrating look for a spot or even go to a lot to park. There 's enough anxiety taking a loved one there let alone worried about parking and feeding the meters. Come on BMH ,do a better job,!!!!

On Feb. 19, I went to the Bryn Mawr ER for a sudden and horrific breathing emergency. I couldn't get a full breath of air and was continually coughing. This developed over night and I needed to be seen immediately. I arrived before 6 AM and waited for more than an hour to be taken back to see a doctor. The PA and a nurse appeared irritated that I was there. The MD came and went in a matter of a minute. All 3 of them belittled me that I did not have a primary care physician. I was desperately in need of treatment, and was harangued by these individuals before any tests or treatment were administered. Very bizarre behavior from alleged professionals. Perhaps all 3 of them ought to be in another line of work. I did eventually get a nebulizer treatment and tests, and only the second nurse who administered some of the tests (I believe her name was Bianca) acted in a truly professional, kind and considerate manner. I left the ER waiting area (after another five hours of waiting for test results) when I observed security relieving an agitated potential patient of a handgun about 5 feet from me. This was a truly bizarre and disappointing experience.

The staff is nice but the wait times are unacceptable! This place makes over $40million a year in PROFITS, but can't seem to have more than a couple doctors in the EMERGENCY ROOM? Outrageous! I waited here for 3 hours and was never seen. I wound up walking out and heading over to an urgent care instead, where I was seen in 5 minutes. I would have preferred to see a doctor for my injury, but I wasn't sure it was EVER going to happen. People who were waiting before I arrived also never saw the doctor while I was waiting. It's absolutely unacceptable and they should be audited.
