My special needs son was recently taken here by ambulance and I felt the nurse and Dr. Young were both amazing.
I have never been there before with my son as we usually go to fairview clinics. It's nice to know in the future if I am needing emergent care I feel safe taking him here again. Also they sent him home with a stuffed animal dinosaur which he has sense loved. Thank you for taking such good care of my son.

Had a very positive ER experience-minimal wait and very thorough & knowledgeable doctor and very competent staff. They all LISTENED to the patient and responded to concerns. Treatment was started promptly. Kudos!

The doctors here act like they care about the patient in person, but if there is any follow up questions or concerns the are MIA. My mom was brought in about a year and a half ago during the night because of symptoms of diabetic ketoacidosis. She could hardly breathe and was becoming incoherent. They didn't have the proper services to treat her so they decided to transfer her down to the cities, and that took several hours, of which I have no idea why. Once she got down to the cities it was so bad that she was put into an induced coma. This has led her to having mild cognitive impairment, and is now progressed to dementia. She has had numerous visits with the doctors at Cambridge trying to get the help she needs and we are going in circles. I have needed to drive her to appointments because she can no longer drive and not one doctor actually reads her profile. They ask the same questions. Last time I was there with mom (January 2nd) I reminded the nurse about not taking a blood pressure reading on the same side my mom had breast cancer, which she was diagnosed in February 2023. I was drawing a blank at the time on the correct side she had cancer, and so I asked about it being in her profile. Sure enough its listed in her medical history!!! The lack of communication between doctors, and doctor to patient is unreal. Please be cautious when deciding to get care here.

We were made to wait for an hour to get into labs for my 16 month son for a blood draw, finger prick it was supposed to be easy. We got in there and these idiots don't have a clue what they're doing. The nurse pricks his middle finger and tries to draw blood out into a container. They need two of these containers for two different tests, the nurse calls over a second nurse because she needed help because for some reason it was too hard for her to get blood from a baby's finger. My wife was holding his arm the whole time so he wasn't moving a lot. The other nurse came over to help and they had to prick his finger AGAIN! Same finger different spot because the first nurse did it wrong. So they pricked it and tried to collect the blood and because they were panicking and tripping over each other they dropped the already filled vial of blood. At this point we said we were done and never coming back. Complete incompetence in the labs department. If you need lab work done go somewhere else.

If I could give negative stars I would. The competency of the emergency department was beyond me. My husband had a metal shard stuck in his eye and they claimed they “couldn’t see anything” nor did they have the appropriate tools to wash out his eye. But they did decide to give him an oxy and send us on our way. We went to Princeton Fairview and they immediately found what was the cause for his pain and yes it was a metal shard. The immediate relief he had was amazing. So thankful for them!! Whatever you do don’t go to Cambridge Allina ER.

I've never had a bad experience here at Cambridge Medical Center, and I've been going here for my medical needs for about 25 years. I've found all my ER visits, provider visits, labs, and staff all very smooth and easy. I will say, I have had a bad experience with a doctor when I was admitted to stay for several nights, and that behavior the dr was displaying toward me was completely unacceptable. I got a new dr immediately for the rest of my stay. Otherwise, A1 work at CMC.

Back in April i started throwing up bile even after not eating for days on end and waking up nauseous. We went to the ER and all they did was give me a shot for my anxiety and told me that it was probably just a stomach flu. The next day I woke up throwing up still and we went back to the ER hoping they would even do x rays, they didn’t and told us the same thing and to also start taking vitamins. We went to Princeton ER later that day and got blood work/x rays done. Turns out it had to do something with smoking too much weed and I just needed to quit. Cambridge didn’t take time to ask questions or even think that it could be anything besides a flu. They simply didn’t care enough to look into it.

My 15 month old daughter ended up in the ER this past Wednesday night (1/3). All the ER staff were so helpful and nice! We waited about an hour and half I believe, but don't quote me... All the nurses were so understanding and gentle with my daughter. One of the nurses even gave my daughter stickers and a popsicle that made her SO happy, you would have never thought she just got 5 stiches to her hand! I hope we don't have another visit but if we do, I feel comfortable coming here.
