I sat here patiently waiting for seven hours with high blood sugar and concerning diabetes symptoms, only for them to barely treat me.
Then to add insult to injury, the doctor forgot(?) to prescribe insulin until I could get in to see my PCP, as well as another need I needed to ease my symptoms, and the nurse informed me that they left for the day, and discharged me!!!
Unacceptable and unconscionable treatment.

Came here all the way from Delaware where I was not receiving adequate care after reaction to wegovy that has gone on for weeks 😢 no real nourishment since 10/10 mouth full of sores unable to keep anything down. Literally feeling like death, and I had to sit there for close to 3 hours in the waiting room with barf bag in pain totally dehydrated and just spent! Come to find out I was in starvation mode and my body started eating away at my muscles. I was close to death, and the Dr's and nurses there saved my life under the guidance of Almighty ABBA! 😪😪😪

Worse experience ever at this hospital! I have my 94 yr old father who's health is declined quickly over the last yr. We waited for HOURS as my dad sat wet from urine ,nothing to eat and in pain, freezing. He'd fallen at home was on the floor for hours. I RUSHED HIM HERE TO CHESTNUT HILL WHERE WE STILL WAIT. THE NURSE KEEPS SAYING THEY ARE WAITING ON A BED. BUT IN THE MEAN TIME PEOPLE KEEP GOING BACK. AS I WATCH ANOTHER ELDERLY MAN DO THE SAME : WAIT FOR HOURS! IM AM SO ANGRY, FRUSTRATED AT THIS POINT. WHAT HAPPEN TO THE GREAT SERVICE AT CHESTNUT HILL?

I have been having bouts or diverticulitis for like 5 months now. Been to chestnut hill ER each time and each time the staff was very sympathetic and kept me comfortable while I waited for results. I was always happy with my care from the ER team!

All the staff and nurses were lovely. Very kind, efficient, and sympathetic. The actual practitioner I saw was....ehhh. She was with me maybe 5 min. Asked a couple questions, told me what she was going to prescribe and that was it. Not rude but definitely just no nonsense and quick in and out. The whole thing from check in to leaving was about an hour.

I had a quick, friendly, and professional experience at the front desk and triage. I was triaged within 15 min of arriving. I had a brief and helpful casual encounter with another staff before being brought to my own room shortly after. Nurse Michael and another nurse and Dr. Howell were in and out of my room testing, educating, and keeping me updated throughout my stay (3 hrs tops). I felt seen and heard. They were sensitive and positive about my situation which helps my husband and I process what could be happening to me. I really appreciate it.

I spent 7.5 hours here today (Came in because I am having trouble breathing) I received NO HELP WHATSOEVER, please save yourself a trip!!! This is coming from someone that has never written a bad review in my life. Im familiar with this hospital because I used to work here about 7 years ago so believe me im blow away with how horrible my experience was. I wouldn’t step foot in this building again if they paid me top dollar, it’s really that bad now. I’d give 0 stars if Google allowed it. I witnessed many people leave to go to different hospitals for help after they waited 5+ hours for urgent issues. They didn’t even give ppl oxygen when they begged. I’m appalled, they said they knew within one hour of me sitting in the waiting room that they couldn’t help me and still had me sit for an additional 6.5 hours. I promise you I would’ve had better luck if I went to the DMV.

I will say the first 3 nurses I came in contact with when I arrived today were pleasant so I was optimistic at first but I promise you after they triage you help is NOT on the way!!!

I was seen at CHH ER in January for what appeared to be a simple gastroenteritis. I was given IV fluids and felt better and was being discharged home. Dr taking care of me drew a troponin level. The value was very high and next thing I knew, I was in an ambulance going to Presby hospital and taken right to cath lab.
Turns out I had the mail artery to heart 95% blocked. I needed 2 stents to open artery. I never had any typical symptoms of a heart attack.
I want to thank CHH staff and this Dr at CHH ER for saving my life.
