We been here in the ER since 11:40AM and still haven’t got in a hospital room and it is 7:53pm. This really don’t make sense

They were able to get me seen quickly and the front desk woman was very kind. They will do scans and blood work but other than that they will not take any extra steps to find out what is wrong with you if it's not something very obvious.

I went in with very intense pain. The meds they gave me did absolutely nothing to help but they would not provide me with anything stronger to alleviate the pain.
My blood work and scan were normal, so the dr shrugged, said that I probably lifted something heavy, and sent me home still in pain.

Turns out that if she had bothered to take a peek at my skin in the painful area she would have seen the beginning of a rash on my back (that I couldn't see yet because I can't see my back).

Then she probably would have known it was SHINGLES and could have put me on Valtrex right away, and maybe gabapentin for the pain.

I've never had shingles before so I had no idea it caused so much pain but a medical doctor should know these things.

Now I'm going to spend the next 2 years of my life paying off a hospital bill for absolutely nothing.

Only go here if you have something very obvious or they will shrug you off and send you on your way home in tears of pain

Horrible. Dr nashid shinthia was rude to me over the phone. And was rude to my sister who came in as a covid positive patient. The doctor told her “it’s your fault you have covid for not getting the vaccine”. She didn’t even last 30 minutes at the ER and was discharged with no prescriptions or anything. My sister has been running fevers since. HORRIBLE doctor working there. If you are working in healthcare you MUST have some compassion towards your patients. She makes Baylor look bad!! Aside from my sister I spoke to her over the phone regarding my mom, which was at their ER and was then transfered to St. Luke’s. The doctor told me my moms lungs looked really bad, and she continued to use the word “buddy” as she talked to me. She then stated her diabetes doesn’t work in her favor. Almost as she really didn’t care of the outcome of my moms health. I then asked her what treatments there are for covid, she said “none buddy”. Again, one of the most horrible experiences at an ER. My sister was charged almost $5k for just 20+ minutes with no prescriptions? And has had a fever for over 4 days.

Great job. We have been there for 2.5 hour and they took care of my dad perfectly. All the doctors and nurses were responsible and nice.
