I was in with my daughter yesterday, waited a while to get back into a room and a nurse named “Kayla” and I am using the word nurse LIGHTLY. Barged into the room, crossed her arms and stood by the door and says” HEY WHATS GOING ON”.. no introduction, no welcoming aura. I sigh and very vaguely told her what was wrong with my child. She’s by the door like we have a deadly virus. My daughter was cold, I asked for a blanket and as she is about to leave to get her a blanket she says “ OH I FORGOT TO INTRODUCE MYSELF, MY NAME IS KAYLA” ? What?! You forgot? and I believe she gave me a used blanket, the blanket was not warm, she was not welcoming, like she didn’t want to be there and do her job. With all this craziness from the presidency I wanted to make sure, I wasn’t dealing with a racist nurse. The nurse I had after was a sweetheart, and honestly, I have never had a bad experience with any of the staff at the ER they have always been warm and sweethearts who love what they do.

Everyone from the intake staff, to the nurses, to the ER doc, and the ENT doc were all great! They went out of their way to try to make my baby comfortable. Nice personal entertainment in the ER room. Overall a great experience! We were there for about three hours which is about what I expected.

It's ridiculous that I waited 3 hours and was still not seen in the ER. My child had bruises from school and wanted to find out if she was okay. I will try a different hospital next time. It's not okay to make parents wait that long for young kids late at night. I always have the worst service when I come here. 1st time, they misdiagnosed a broken clavicle. Sent us home, and my daughter woke up with her hand drooping. I should have tried rocky mountain children's Hospital today. Should have followed my gut. I would have been waiting 4 hours had I stayed a few more minutes. Am extremely frustrated

Been here for 3 hrs and others came in with the same symptoms after us, my daughter has a 103.6 fever. And we are the only white family here and they keep jumping over up to help other people it's sad.

Brought my son in and everything was fast end efficient. Well done! This is not our first time here, this hospital saved my sons life 16 years ago. Before you leave a bad review, understand that they are performing miracles and saving children's lives here every single day!

The process of checking in and getting vitals was so easy. The staff was super nice and really took the time to make sure my baby and I were as comfortable as possible while figuring out the issues.

I've been here twice in the past week and they are light years ahead of any other place for children's care. I was honestly a little concerned coming here the first time with only two Google stars but that is 100% inaccurate. The first night we ended up staying for two nights at the hospital after being in the ER and the service and level of care we received was absolutely top notch. This is the right choice. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses and the overall organization for truly creating the best care possible.

Words cannot express my gratitude for the entire team that cared for our child at the Aurora Children's Hospital and ER department. We were on an out of state vacation, with a flight home pending later that day, when our child came down with a medical emergency. We had no idea where to go out of state, that was in-network, so we started out at a different emergency department (equally amazing) and ended up getting transferred here. The communication between the two locations was seamless in getting our information transferred and testing underway. They were so understanding of our situation and did their best to provide resources to us, during this unexpected adventure. They were extremely patient with all of our questions (I typically have a lot of them). I so much appreciated how compassion and thorough they were every step of the way. It was comforting to know that our child was in good hands with their level of speciality and expertise. Our child was able to get in for surgery and discharged from the hospital earlier than expected, so we were able to catch a flight back home. I'm happy to say our child is now recovering comfortably! If they read this, I want to tank each and every employee at the Aurora Children's hospital and ER department for their commitment to being amazing every day. They are making a difference in the world.
