Been here many times from a stay of 6 days to a very high fever, a fracture to respiratory infection. We see Specialists for my child's medical condition and it's always a wonderful experience here no matter how difficult our situation. The staff do everything they can to ensure the safety, comfort and care of these children. The families need to stop treating this place like a hotel though. If not life threatening the whole family including grandma should not be taking up seats for patients.

The entire team on Floor 9 was amazing. Nurse Kylie and Mark were very attentive and made it as comfortable as they could for our daughter. We are very grateful for the attention and care we received.

Tengo a mis gemelas que son complejas médicamente y su equipo médico es de children’s medical center Dallas y debo decir que los doctores son muy malos en el ER. Les falta empatía y que lean bien los charts de los pacientes, no puedes tratar igual a un niño sano que a uno con problemas crónicos. Honestamente estoy harta de la sala de emergencias pero mis doctores siempre me mandan aquí para que sean valoradas y siempre es lo mismo; doctores ineptos, arrogantes, antipáticos y sobrados.
Cuando son admitidas y llevadas a piso es como fueran dos hospitales completamente diferentes.
Llevo 7 horas esperando una cama y en 4 horas no han venido a verla, yo tuve que solicitar el oxígeno porque ellos no se dieron cuenta que estaba bajo y la máquina de la IV tiene 1 hora sonando y nadie puede venir a apagarla.

Horrible horrible horrible! I’ll never visit this emergency ever again my daughter was having trouble breathing & a fever of 103 they still made us wait 5 hours in the emergency room. Trash on floors and tables everything disgusted me , staff didn’t care about any of the children all were loud talking laughing . If your child is in need of medical attention PLEASE don’t bring them here

Although the nurses are absolutely great the triage system absolutely needs to change. Took over 6 hours JUST to get into an emergency room then wait another 2 hrs to be seen by an actual physician.. Did not expect that from Children’s Hospital

My kids receive the best care here. I trust the staff and them listening to me and my concerns about my child. Very knowledgeable and understanding of not only how my child is feeling but also mines in an overwhelming/concerned state of mind. Not knowing what else you can do to help your child is scary but this hospital is great. The house keeping team, sanitation, PCT, RNs, interns, providers, etc, everyone!!!! Thank you from my family to yours thank you

Sarah the charge nurse in the ER of Dallas was so understandable and made me words value. Matt was our nurse in the ER room #50 and he was just fanatics and educated me on what was the next steps. Lastly the Provider name Dr. Dale and Dr. Castillo with the Irish background where so pleasant made me feel like we were welcomed and we were not a problem to care for my son. I enjoyed the visit. However the lobby was full and we did wait 3 hours but this hospital has been voted the top pediatric hospital for awhile now so if we can get the ER lobby down with great medical staff that we encounter this would make a huge difference. Thank you team care of Dallas from the Alexander's.

Separating families from their children in the emergency room is not only disgusting, it is inhumane. I wasn’t aware that hospitals for children were so closely related to concentration camps.
