2 weeks of abdominal pain on my 4 year old. Ruled most virus/infections out. He threw up at CHOP and after seeing the urgent care doctor they moved us to the ER, because it was a possible appendix problem. They urgent care doctors rolled him over to the ER in a wheelchair. The ER staff is awful and rude. I get that you are slammed but that is no reason to talk to patients like trash when your kids are in obvious pain. They ruled out the appendix but could not come to any conclusive answer as to why he is having fits of unbearable pain, and just kicked us out without any answers. My child is still in pain and throwing up. This hospital is gonna charge us a small fortune for basically doing nothing. Between Einstein and CHOP we have the worst ERs in the area. Jefferson Hospitals and CHOP suck. I’m gonna have to start looking 1-2 hours away for a better ER to go to.

My son has been here a few times for severe skin infections where he needs to be admitted with IV antibiotics. The doctors and nurses here are absolutely amazing. I am well informed on everything, my and son is treated with the absolute best car, the bed side manner from everyone excellent, and they make sure patients and parents are as comfortable as possible. They have everything you or your child may need from during your stay here . I cannot say enough good things about this hospital. I

We have been to the CHOP ER in KOP 3x now and have always been met with the most pleasant staff (after you check in with the front staff who usually look/act like they’d rather be anywhere else but the interaction is short-lived anyway). They have been so kind and accommodating especially when my 3 y/o was scared and upset by the nebulizer, giving her stuffed puppy a mask and pulse ox cord to borrow to match her, and then gave her a spare stethoscope because she wanted to use it on said stuffed puppy. Staff went out of their way to find a Toy Story coloring book to help distract her from the nebulizer because she saw her Toy Story pjs. The Wawa cart is always an added helpful bonus! I’m always shocked at the negative reviews because we’ve always had a very positive experience.

I'm not sure what to happened but CHOP went downhill when they opened this location. Been with CHOP for over ten in years and was proud to be apart of the best... But last night's trip to the KOP ER felt like I had the C-Team. Extremely disappointing, won't be going back to this location. They either hired to fill slots, fresh out of school or worn down and didn't care.

We brought our baby daughter in for labored breathing around midnight and immediately went through triage to an individual room. The staff and nurses were polite, calming, and helpful. The facilities were great. We're grateful everything went as well as it did! Thank you CHOP!

Had to bring my kiddo to the ER with some scary symptoms. We were seen immediately and given a room within 15 minutes. The entire hospital staff from reception, nurse staff, doctors, radiology, and admins were polite and excellent at putting my child and myself at ease. Very detailed and explained next steps throughout so there were no surprises. Even security staff was super helpful and nice! Much thanks to everyone!

4 hour wait for a head injury is ridiculous. Nurses sit and eat all their snacks and gossip right in front of you. Once taken back to a room I was disgusted. Vomit on the wheels of the bed, trash smelled like dirty diapers, definitely hadn’t been cleaned.

Terrible experience. I left the emergency room without knowing exactly what my son have because they only have nursery practitioner on the day we visit.
Also received a bill higher then when I give birth but I only stayed there for 4h.
Waiting is also terrible. They didn't offer anything to my son to drink.After 2 years of being with Chop and they not finding solution to my son respiratory problems. I will finally leave.
