Doctor was terrible. They started yelling at us because I tried to refuse a pregnancy test. I just had a heavy 7 day period and no sex and was in agonizing pain and scared and didn't have to pee and wanted treatment. They said this "happens all the time" and there's a good chance I could be pregnant despite a 7 day period with a heavy flow and no sex. I have multiple kids and know the difference between implantation bleeding, hemorrhaging, and a 7 day period since I have experienced all of those things. They refused any diagnostics until I did the pregnancy test so I assume they would have done nothing if it had been positive which according to the doctor happens all the time. Nursing staff was wonderful and advised me to go to a different hospital when I didn't receive treatment or thorough diagnostics or admission to the hospital despite there clearly being something wrong as I couldn't breathe or even hold my phone because it hurt too much and being in literal tears due to pain with a pain level getting worse and worse while I was there until it reached a 9. I wasn't asking for pain pills, and I can't even take pain pills because I have a reaction to them so I was clearly not drug seeking. No one even asked proper questions about my pain and how it was progressing. It's not a good sign about the quality of care when the nurses tell you to go to a different hospital to get help.

I had to go in for flank pain from a kidney stone on 1/20 and all the staff were very kind. I was there about an hour. No one treated me like I was an inconvenience. No one treated me like I was just there for drugs. No one treated me like they thought I was lying. I mean, maybe after going to the UCHealth ER so many times, the bar is very low but this will be my go-to ER from now on. They even called me this morning to follow up and make sure I had made an appt. with my doctor.

took my son tonight & was in & out within an hour. he seems to be feeling slightly better- we will see over the next day or two.
check in lady was friendly.
nurse had an stronger accent and was kind of hard to understand but she was friendly.
doctor listened & hopefully helped- like i said, we will see how the next couple of days go.
i have no complaints & it was quick.
i’d called children’s hospital in aurora & was told it was a 6 hour wait. this was much quicker. glad we weren’t waiting all night!

This “emergency room” is more like an urgent care. The dr looked at my infection, then said they were unable to do any sort of ultrasound since they didn’t have the capabilities at the facility and it would take time for the ultrasound machine to come from elsewhere. Dr then gave me a prescription and dismissed me. The nurse was also not confident in any answers for my questions.

How are you going to post on your webpage that you can do a laundry list of treatments…..and then not do them….?

Two nights later I had to go to a different hospital in Littleton and was told I was prescribed the WRONG MEDICATION for my infection. Which then led to a much more in-depth evaluation, and my infection had puss surrounding it.

Honestly Common Spirit should be ashamed of the medical staff they employ. If you wanna become a spirit, come here to this location.

I have come here with various things through the years and it's always been so eerie.. and I've gone home feeling so .. gross from the treatment.
The front desk people are so nice. But then when you get in, they discharge you immediately. And if you ask any questions about your condition, they become very aggressive.
When you go somewhere and you are very vulnerable because of sickness or injury, and you are going there for help and are treated with such aggression, that is such a major abuse of their privilege as a doctor and of the Hippocratic oath.

I think there are some things that the people who are treated poorly here have in common.
We should all really put our heads together.

Do NOT go here. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this experience was just awful. My daughter went in with a severe ingrown nail. She tried to get rid of it a month ago, but we noticed that it would bleed whenever she walked so we went a month ago and a doctor there prescribed her antibiotics. That doctor was kind of dismissive, but we ignored it, the doctor told us to go back if it didn’t help. My daughter took the pills and it did not help her so we went back today because it’s gotten significantly worse, her toe has turned purple. The doctor who came in was Sean Bender. My daughter began to explain that she’s had this ingrown nail for months and that the pain is getting worse. He said that it was unfair of her coming in to an ER with low resources for something that was small. I was shocked when I heard those exact words come out of his mouth. I 100% understand if a small place like this can’t help, but he was just being so disrespectful. He said that he had more important patients to help, and that if she really did want his help to remove the nail that she would have to wait a long time. We know that her life isn’t in danger, and the doctor could’ve told us nicely that this isn’t what they deal with we would’ve just left and understood but he was so so rude and treated her like she was a waste of time. He ended up prescribing her with more antibiotics 🫤.

I took my child and never again will I go here. First off going in you’re at your most vulnerable with emotions high feeling helpless. I went in with a knot in my throat, worried. The ladies in the front were kind! They got us in right away. Thank you ladies for your kindness and professionalism!!!
The room we were in had a STRONG odor of urine. The Dr.(dark skinned, middle aged man, average build, between wavy and curly hair) was terrible!! I didn’t find his name in my paperwork. It was like we were a bother for being there, like he needed an ego boost to make himself feel better. He talked down to me like I was incapable of understanding what he was telling me, he rolled his eyes and sighed when I would speak to him. He should’ve been the most professional and he was the worst!!
The RN an older Caucasian female was also not very professional and unsanitary. Before giving my child his antibiotics she couldn’t open them and wiped her hands all over her clothes. This is a hospital with so much going around, instead of washing her hands. She was bothered when I asked what she was giving my child. A Simple question that a parent should know. She answered me in a rude way.
They did get my son feeling better but the treatment was horrible.
Today I took my other child to the urgent care on 74th and federal and it was the opposite. Amazing, compassionate people! It was for the same thing since my first child was contagious. I suggest more training to these people. I’m sure they go through a lot, but that level of treatment was unacceptable.

Horrible experience. Erik Adler is the most unsympathetic “doctor” I have ever met in my entire life. Before I left, still in agonizing pain, he said “welp, sorry but I’ve done all I can do. I’m going to get you out of here”…. Didn’t check for infection to see if antibiotics were necessary, did not help with my pain level, no care whatsoever. I wouldn’t take anyone you care about to this place.
