Recently had a good experience in this ER - overall visit was perhaps a bit longer than I would have thought, but it was clear that the staff took me and my child's needs seriously. Facility is clean, and although our nurse was a young graduate, she had the absolute best bedside manner with my anxious child and we both felt well cared for.

When I say this ED team provides the most compassionate care, and top notch personal attention, I mean it. We called ahead, as we came in with what we feared was a heart attack. We were immediately met with a wheelchair, a calm compassionate nurse, and the sweetest registration clerk. The patient was cared for immediately to rule out any cardiac emergencies. The nursing staff and radiology techs took their time attending to the patient to ensure nothing was overlooked. Dr. Gonzales didn’t stop there. She continued to dig further to ensure she understood the entire situation. Tests were run and heartfelt education was shared on heart disease, the importance of medication maintenance, and identified the root of the problem. She provided the proper treatment and ensured follow ups were made for continued care. She shared personal stories with us that put us at ease and built immediate trust in her care. Cuero is so fortunate to have this emergency department available 24/7. Today could have been a lot different. CRH, Kelsey and her team, and Dr. Gonzales were there for us! 🙏

If I could I'd leave a 0 star review. Been to this emergency room 3 times and told them something was not right. Each of the 3 times I was sent home and was told everything was fine I just had a UTI. After coming back from the emergency room, that night I woke up with excruciating pain and told my husband he needs to take me to the ER now. Told him I did not want to go to cueros ER but instead Victoria's. That same same day I was sent back to have emergency surgery. I had appendicitis and gallstones at the same while I was ten months pregnant on top of that. This is the worst emergency room I've ever been to because this was not the only time they've screwed up. Several times they have sent me home with the wrong antibiotics that made my stomach swelling and has made me very sick. My nephew who was 6 years also end up getting kindey damage because of their mistakes and had to get emergency surgery also. Please don't go here if you want to live.

They always make you wait for many hours. Either in the waiting room or the room itself. Some of them are very rude. They don't care about you being in agonizing pain and not able to walk. If it's chronic pain They just give you shots and send you home. Even if your still hurting, without any prescriptions to help.

I went in today & had a great experience. The receptionist that checked me in was super nice. I was immediately put into a room and my nurse was very attentive and super sweet and made me feel really comfortable. The doctor came and talked to me and test were ran. Megan and the phlebotomist were also great as I am scared of needles and they took that into account when taking my blood. I got an ultrasound and my ultrasound tech explained everything she was doing which was very helpful. The doctor came in and went over everything with me and prescribed medicine.

Just left after waiting for 6 hours. The staff is extremely rude and give attitude to sick elderly patients who have also been waiting for 5 hours...I'll never go back for any kind of emergency care. I'd rather die before going there...LeAnn was the nurse with a disgusting attitude. I never got seen. Next time I'll go to Victoria!!! A real disgrace.

I’m a frustrated mother! I came all the way to Cuero because my 7 month old was having RSV symptoms at home. Dr. Johnson seemed in a rush and didn’t exactly examine my baby as I expected. His words were,” he seems ok now.” And “ he’ll just breathe through his mouth.” I would not have brought my child to the ER if he seemed ok to me . Not satisfied! If something is seriously wrong with my boy you’ll be hearing from me ! 😡
