No stars not even one I never ever! give negative reviews, but this is well deserved, I don’t know where to start it was a horrible experience Everyone seemed to be so confused. The physician or doctor was so unprofessional he didn’t even introduce himself. I didn’t even know he was a doctor.. eww he was so rude and cocky at the same time, I will never go there again in fact I will call my insurance and Dispute what ever they think my insurance must pay.

Worst experience i’ve ever had. Criminal Negligence occurred right in front of me. I suffered from a stomach infection. Since i wasn’t infectious They moved me to a room with all elderly people come to find out they all have heart failure and are separated due to hirisk of catching and dying. Dr came in and brought a patient He immediately had the RNs turn off the AC saying it’s cold when in all reality it was warm. I thought it was weird. I cracked a joke saying it’s not cold he just have a shaved head (Short bald Asian Male) rolled this person in 30 minutes later he comes back in and tells the patient that she has pneumonia and the flu to a room
full of elderly patients who were separated due to heart failure / kidney failure. I called the charge nurse and informed them of the issue. She said she will take care of it. I waited in the rest room for 39 min hoping that they removed her. But she was still there with no mask at all so I approached the nurses on hand and informed them of the issue. He then walked out and another 30minutes later and they finally removed her. For about an hour and a half. This person was exposed to 4 elderly men who had under 20% heart function. Very shameful behavior. This isnt all of my complaints. But i’m too exhausted to continue at this moment look for part 2

If I could give zero stars I would. The emergency room is a joke. Pregnancy woman should not come here at all. I went to the ER here because my OB is here Dr. Zand. I am 14 weeks pregnant and was recommended to go to the ER after an ultrasound sound revealed that my baby doesn’t have a heart beat. At first they took me right away to get my blood work and ultrasound done. I got there at 12:30pm and did not leave until a little after 7pm. I ask the front desk if my blood work and ultra sound results were back at 4pm and he said yes they have been back for awhile and they’ll get to it when they get to it. I waited until 6pm and I asked the front desk again and he said that he’s not in charge and it’s up to the nurses to get to it and he can’t rush them. Fortunately, a doctor came out to talk to a patient and I was able to ask him if there’s anyway I can get my results since I’ve been here since 12:30. Within 5 minutes I was called back. Once I was called back the nurse was going to discharge me but I told her no one has talked to me about my blood results or my ultrasound. She went to find the doctor and he couldn’t be found for almost 45 minutes. Finally he came to tell me my baby has died and there’s nothing I can do but wait. The organization of the emergency room and the sense of urgency from the employees was nonexistent. People came in with broken bones and left before I did. I have a dead baby inside me and no one felt it was urgent. When I asked the doctor why it took so long for me to get my results, he blamed everyone and everything else. He took no responsibility and sent me home with no instructions on what to do but wait. I will never go back to this hospital.

I waited for two hours they took my vitals and told me i didn't have to pee in a cup until i got called again. i waited another two hours to get called and when they finally did they said i lied about them saying i didnt have to pee in the cup immediately so they told me i would have to and would have to wait longer to get called again. The doctor also for some reason thought he gave me medicine when all he did was check my vitals and prescribe medication. I just needed an IV and anti nausea medicine and was left outside dehydrating and throwing up. I asked for water and didnt get it until an hour later. The doctor also refused to give an IV and treatment because by him just looking at me he decided i was fine even though i told him i just threw up before getting called. Would give zero stars if i could.

Unfortunately, I have had ONE helpful experience at this ER and with this medical group which initially led me to switch my insurance to Kaiser. The biggest problem is at the window check in. I understand that these people probably have to deal with a lot, a lot of not very nice people, and a lot of incompetence. This leads them to group everyone under 'incompetent.' I came in today because urgent care told me they couldn't do imaging- I am having esophageal spasms exacerbated by a reaction to medicine I took for a headache. The receptionist heard 'headache,' and dismissed my other symptoms. I was triaged for a headache where I once again explained my situation. No imaging was done, I was given Benadryl and Pepcid (I already take omeprazole), but my insurance was switched back from Kaiser to IEHP so I apparently have to start over. The doctor was nice enough, and recommended I see a GI. My concern was that I will not be able to get in as my insurance has switched and I don't have a PCP. He discharged me and said I should be able to get in. Upon calling the G.I., I am not allowed to make an appointment until I am referred by a PCP. Giant waste of time. This ER is consistently over-worked and under-staffed. The waiting room is very small for the volume of patients they see, and there isn't enough seating to accommodate their high patient volume. I am pre-med and my biggest driving factor is to get quality health care in the high desert. I shouldn't have to seek care in LA to make sure my concerns are addressed and I shouldn't have to have a PPO plan in order to refer myself to get the care I need. This is wild. The healthcare system, ESPECIALLY in the high desert needs to do better.

I was left sitting in the waiting room for 9 and 1/2 hrs and then when I was finally called back I had a very rude and insensitive nurse. I was there for a very very embarrassing issue and not only did my nurse make me feel just down right disgusting for it but I had to listen to 3 other nurses sit on their butts doing nothing making jokes and talking about how thankful they are that they don't have to be my nurse. Made me feel so embarrassed and ashamed and humiliated. Then when it came to my treatment they told my fiance to administer my medicine. This hospital is a very disrespectful, insensitive, hateful, inconsiderate and cruel hospital and their staff follows suit I'll NEVER return to that place! I would bet anything this hospital and their employees are responsible for multiple deaths! They don't do their jobs correctly and they most definitely DO NOT care about their patients! Someone needs to do something about this place and hire new nurses and assistants and even some of the doctors are the same. Lord help this place!

Everytime I have come to emergency, I have never had a problem with the wait times. They listen to your needs and treat you accordingly which is more than I can say for St. Mary's Emergency. I will pick this emergency over St. Mary's any day!
