Arrived Tuesday morning 5 8am to roughly 5 people in the waiting lobby at triage. Was called into triage fairly quick, had bloodwork done etc, then went back out to wait. Waited for 3 hours and several people came in and were taken back into the hospital before I was. 1145 ish finally put in a room, was given some medicine and then quickly moved to another seating area out by the lobby where I stayed the remainder of the time in a reclining chair until 4:30 in the afternoon. The pain that I have from sitting in that single, uncomfortable chair for so long is still with me Wednesday afternoon and it hurts to move more then when I went to begin with. The only saving grace were the couple nurses that came to help me.

Everytime I have been to these ER it's an absolute nightmare. Most recently I went after having chest pain and pain while breathing. I was brought in quickly as there was no one in the waiting area. 8.5 hours later I was discharged while still having chest pain. 8.5 hours to have a CT test and bloodwork and no explanation for chest pain. Hours went by without being checked on by a nurse or having monitoring equipment attached in using after paging for a nurse. The NP assigned to me was rude and in a rush to get me out.

This was my first time going here. I went there for chest pain and heart palpitations, and I had a great experience there with the doctors and nurses. Everyone was very friendly, and I did not feel like I was dismissed or not taken seriously with how I was feeling and the symptoms I was experiencing. They were thorough with explaining what they thought i was experiencing and were very patient with me. The ladies at the front desk were very welcoming and kind. The wait time was also very short. I am very glad I went here and not another ER.

My heart is broken coming back from the ER at Doylestown hospital. I came in by ambulance with the worst pain I’ve ever experienced, so bad I could barely talk. They ran a few tests, which came back fine. Long story short, they made a few random guesses of what it could be and sent me on my way while still in extreme pain. Now I’m on my own with no help and no idea what’s going on. What am I supposed to do? The pain is unbearable. No script, just ā€œTylenol and put a heating pad on it.ā€ I felt like it wasn’t taken seriously at all. The nurses and techs were great though. I’m so disappointed and let down, I shouldn’t have gone in. It’s a terrible feeling to be in pain and nobody will help you. I don’t even want to know what this cost me. I don’t think you should tell person to leave when they’re experiencing terrible pain. The doctor was Dr. Kane. I’m so upset. I regret not standing up for myself but it is what it is, she wouldn’t have helped me anyway. She was in and out of that room so fast. Fingers crossed it gets better, whatever it is.

Sat in the waiting room for 3.5 hours and counting, then watched one of the nurses escort his relative stright back after they just walked in. I asked the girl at the desk about it and she stutard her way through an explanation.

My 6 year old needed stitches after an injury yesterday & we were promptly taken back to have her kick back and wait for numbing cream to set in.

During that time we had a nurse bring her over a small box of toys and explained that people donate them to the hospital for kids admitted, it was filled with fun activities & calmed her down immensely, they made her really cozy with a heated blanket, the doctor talked her through everything & just treated her with so much kindness & gentleness, it made the long wait not so bad. Shout out nurse Mary & Dr. Chris. Thank you for making a scary situation as pleasant as possible! Truly, from the front desk all the way to discharge, everyone was so helpful.

My experience today as an ER patient was great. Well, needing to go to the ER sucks, but how I was treated was noteworthy. From the security at the the door, to the check-in and triage nurses, to the doctor-- I felt that it was done efficiently and compassionately.
Yes, sometimes ERs can be busy, but I think the level of care draws people in.
I was fortunate to have Dr. DiEnna -- very easy to talk to, thorough, and made me feel confident.
Hope I never need the ER again, but if I do, I'd choose Doylestown again.
