I've been twice for the same injury because I can't get into the doctor and was in pain. First time the doctor was great- informative and he took time to listen and help. The second time the doctor treated me like I could not be more of a nuisance to her. Refused to do x-rays. Gave me a referral that was no good because the address on it was old. When I call back the emergency help line, no one will help. It's just all constant run around and sitting on the phone for more people who don't know what they're doing. Emergency rooms are never fun but it helps if people actually know what they're doing.

I understand it's flu season and everyone is sick. I only brought my son here since he was refusing to drink anything and it was over 24 hours since his last drink and he was vomiting. His doctor recommended I bring him in since dehydration was a big risk. We got there around 4 pm and didn't get back to see a doctor until almost 1 am. Even when we finally did go back we waited an hour in the room for the doctor to come back and say we're gonna try to give some Zofran. My son is 3 and has autism and it's so difficult to get him to take anything.

When the nurse came in she told me I had to give the Zofran because she didn't want to be bitten. Honestly not even mad it's understandable cause kids can bite. I had to then hold down my son to rub the Zofran in his mouth and hope he didn't make himself throw up cause he didn't want it in his mouth. Luckily he did pretty well and did ask for some apple juice so the nurse took his water bottle and went to fill it up. We then waited another hour for the doctor to come in and discharge us. They didn't check his vitals or anything. I was so tired and frustrated that my son felt like crap but happy that he drank some juice I didn't bother arguing that they should give fluids cause I'll just have him drink more juice at home. He's doing a lot better now but he's had it coming out of both ends for a couple of days now. Almost a 9-hour wait, when there's a 3-year-old who has a high dehydration risk is unacceptable.

I waited 11 hours for them to tell me they couldn't find a baby when I was pregnant and shrugged their shoulders and said I needed to follow up with my doctor. It ended up being a molar pregnancy which was a tumor that I had to have surgically removed.

You'll be there so long you'll start to feel better.

Even when I took my son when he was 10 WEEKS old due to vomiting blood it took a few hours to get to a room and get his pyloric stenosis diagnosis. And then since we have Kaiser and had to get transferred to a Kaiser hospital for the surgery we waited for medical transport to pick us up. They didn't get us until 3:30 in the morning and we got there at noon the previous day. Take out the time waiting for a doctor and whatnot and thats 10 HOURS we waited for them to transport us to a hospital that could do my sons surgery. We got to Anaheim and the nurses were extremely upset since we were supposed to be there hours before.

If I have to take either myself or any of my children to the er going forward I will be driving the hour or so to a kaiser hospital because even if the wait is long as well the care will be way better than at Eisenhower.

Went to this ER while out of town for extreme pain during ectopic pregnancy. They had me waiting for hours, then misdiagnosed my ruptured fallopian tube as an ovarian cyst. I traveled home the next day to go to the ER at my regular Kaiser, where they rushed me into emergency surgery and ended up having to remove my fallopian tube.

I want to thank the ER staff for the best service I have ever seen in an ER room. Even when stressed they were very professional & I cannot thank them enough. I will always go to Eisenhower. They treated my wife with the best of care.

great place if you're having a heart attack or if you want to be accused of drug seeking when you are not. they missed several symptoms of seizure that i was having, did not care that i had 14 seizures in their waiting room, and did not run tests to look for the seizures i was definitely having in my temporal and occipital lobes, in addition to other parts of the brain. do not go here, they do not care about their younger patients at all, they think everyone is an addict if they are experiencing pain

ETA: Oh, and apparently instead of treating patients while they are in the emergency room, they only care about them after they leave honest reviews. THEN they try to scare tactic them into changing it. Stay away from this place unless you're actively bleeding out!

If I can put 0 stars I would! I unfortunately have Kaiser Permanente so I'm forced to come here. The staff is rude and can care less if you're in pain.. last time i was there I sat curled up in a ball in the waiting room for about 6 hours until finally they sent me to a room where they did absolutely nothing to me just sent in some lady to basically ask me if I was doing drugs and that the next time I wasnt feeling good to go see my regular doctor because the emergency room was only for people with severe injuries and they sent me home 🙃 came to look at the reviews since I got badly injured and my knee is swollen hoping something has changed but after reading recent reviews I wanted to share my experience there. I prefer waiting till morning to go to an urgent care

Just left the emergency room and was treated badly by a doctor in training. He was on a total power trip, very rude and condescending. Stating, "I don't care what you think or what you say". When I was asking questions regarding my care, the doctor who was first in my room was very nice and professional but the doctor who was in training was extremely rude. He needs to learn to listen and be respectful towards patients who are entrusting their care at this hospital. This is why people are writing these bad reviews. They need to seriously look at how they are treating people and how they speak to them. You will continue to be called out for bad behavior by staff. This is unacceptable, these people are supposed to be professional, educated people and their behavior is poor. Staff needs to change their attitude or be fired. Why work in a field you hate, go be miserable somewhere else.

I wasn't going to write a review but I just received the copay came in for a service that didn't even help diagnose me and I'm upset over the whole ordeal. To start I had a panic attack in the waiting room, which is my own thing but that's all I got from this visit. After getting back into the room the male nurse had me undress into a hospital gown in front of him, which is strange because the issue was with my foot and there was a never a reason for me to be in a gown. Following that, the female nurse that came in before the doctor, came in afterwards and asked ME what the "game plan" was and what the doctor was ordering. At the end I got an ultrasound on my foot that didin't discover anything and they ended up referring me out anyways. And now I have a copay of $900 for the ultrasound and all I got was a panic attack and poor medical care! This is absurd and I'll be appealing these charges. Such nonsense, do better Eisenhower.
