It is the worst emergency room I have ever visited. I went with my children, that was having stomach pain, looking like it was appendicitis. We had to go through a metal detector, like the TSA at an airport. Then checking in was horrible; later, we sat down for 1 1/2 hours with my children crying in pain and not being able to sit down comfortably, and they never called us to take vitals or anything. We ended up leaving for a different emergency room.

I hope nobody has to go through this. If you care about your family or yourself, go somewhere else.

I have been here many times, and I have always had great experiences. My last 2 times being here, I have seen Randall Scott E PA-C. He has the most wonderful bedside manner with patients, the first time I seen him I was in really bad shape and he was very busy, but still made sure to care for me like I was the only one here to be seen. Today, the issue was not as serious but he still took the time to explain things to me. Michelle A was the RN that assisted and she was equally as great and Randy. Thank you so much for treating your patients with the care that we don’t see often anymore! I hope this review finds you both and your superiors also see this! Your bedside manner did not go unnoticed! Thank you again!

Went through the ER yesterday and was seen immediately and admitted overnight. The Nurses, Doctors and Technicians were all professional and super friendly.
My only recommendation is to change the sticker in the screening process to reflect “ER” instead of “ED”!

I’ve had great experiences at this ER. The staff has been great. The wait times have been minimal. It’s worth the drive for me.

I took my husband by car to the ER about 3pm on a holiday Sunday (Labor Day weekend) in what was quickly turning into full blown septic shock. The nurses, practitioner, ancillary staff and everyone jumped right on it and had him stable in a very short time even though the beds were full at the time. I can't remember all the nurse's names, but they were great and it was nice seeing them work so well as a team.
He was admitted to the floor pending surgery later this week. Everyone so far from the ER to the floor staff have my trust and gratitude. From a retired trauma/ICU RN, that is a hard thing to earn.

One of the scariest moments in my life: My daughter had pain in her right arm and we just tried to get Rx to make sure She was OK.

The problem is the ER department was horrible, almost 3 hours to get a simple Rx and during the wait time, several patients positive to COVID were treated and the staff (Doctors and Nurses) basically touched them and did the same exams in other healthy patients with 0 SAFETY PROTOCOLS.

Why not isolate the contagious disease patients ?!?!?

To make it worse I think the distance between the boots was like < 6 feets. I will never go there again!!!

I am new to the area, child was visiting daddy when he became more ill. Had to call ambulance and decided on this hospital. The reviews had me nervous, so to ease another parent in similar circumstances I can say the following: symptoms were fever, headache, coughing. (One ambulance personnel didn’t seem too thrilled I called for such simple case, but his breathing & shaking had me worried😔)Back to ER, as soon as I gave info nurse was doing the routine triage a physical walked by and immediately saw the fast breathing & heartbeat. We were in the hallway since no rooms were available . Dr examine my son & requested all the testing. We were in & out in about an hour, son got treated & they quickly found what he had. Glad I called the ambulance, and today from the admission, nurses, assistants, physicians & security, were amazing. Thank you Bartow. The Dr/nurse also took the time to explain the discharge directions & medicine.
My surroundings:
Many ppl coming in & many ppl being discharged in timely manner. As all hospitals they attend in order of urgency.
Hope this helps someone, & this was my experience, sorry for other that got the opposite.

Went to to ER with my son who was having chest pains whom is autistic tonight and did not get seen by no one and was told that our names was called twice but was not. Head nurse was quick to call security and said that we had two options to either check in again or leave. We are a black family and did not receive any medical care what do ever. My sons chest pain was not taken as an emergency at all!!!
