I came here with a lot of pain very very grateful to Dr Reinhart for phenomenal care. NYU Langone is a Classic NYC institution and emergency doctors are the best of the best. I have been here a few times and walked out feeling that I was taken care of. Thankful to the RN thania as well!!

My son has to be taken to the emergency of this hospital today. I am very impressed with the professionalism of the entire team so far. I would especially like to express my gratitude to the exceptionally kind nurse, Julia Ukazu. She is incredibly attentive to my son and made a difficult situation much more bearable. Having a compassionate nurse by your side is so important, especially when a loved one needs urgent care. Thank you so much, Julia, for your kindness and support!

Our 10 yo daughter had a skiing accident and woke up with neck pain and numb arms, so we took her to the ER here at 10:15 on a Sunday. I thought we were going to the children’s hospital, but we were directed to the ER instead.

We saw a doctor immediately and were done by 10:30, but stayed for one hour to make sure my daughter’s condition improved slightly with the Motrin and lidocaine patch they gave her. There was hardly anyone there and it was an extremely efficient and stress-free experience. Everyone was extremely professional and kind, and the nurses made filling out the paperwork very easy and I didn’t have to fill out a million forms. We were out by 11:30!

I cannot recommend this pediatric ER enough in NYC. Totally worth the 25 min drive from Astoria Queens.

I took our mom to NYU ER on 1st avenue in Manhattan on January 2 and I can honestly say that they tended to my mom quickly taking blood work, xrays etc. She was admitted on that day and her room was in the Tisch building at 17 EAST. Everyone on that floor there are no words to explain how everyone on that floor always had a smile on their faces and so hospitable. I cannot forget the nurses both day and night shifts to name a few Tania, Terri, Jules they treated my mom so well so gentle and they always had a smile and they would have little conversations with my mom I cannot forget Dr. Evan Siau and Dr Benjamin Verplanke who tended to her every morning while make their morning rounds. I also cannot forget Bonnie who volunteers there every Monday. Bonnie so sweet with her pink hair, which is her favorite color, one Monday night she was an angel, and continues to be, that day when I needed a shoulder to cry on. The nurses at 17 East LOVE Bonnie she always comes to their rescue. The doctors & nurses did all they could do for my mom and unfortunately my mom passed away almost two weeks at NYU but all the staff their made her last days very comfortable and provided her with pain killers that she needed.
I am so happy that I decided to take my mom at NYU ER the services that they provided to my mom i will always remember.
Please don't hesitate if you need to go to NYU ER they will NOT disappoint. Thank you NYU thank you 🙂

Amazing doctors who are understanding and act fast during an emergency. Was treated efficiently and caringly as I had multiple doctors across specialties treat me. My post-op nurse was amazing as well and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable. Only con is that one ER nurse did not check in after the night-to-day shift switch and would not check me routinely, so I had to call a doctor to help me.

On 9/4/24 I went because of the sudden stabbing pain I got in the appendix area, I didn't expect the service in ER to be great but I knew NYU ER must be better than other ones. It turned out to exceed my expectations, I want to thank all staff beginning with janitors and receptionists, to nurses, doctors, and radiologists. I spent 8 hours and I felt taken care of from the first minute I came in. They have the best technology, the best supplies, and equipment, and if you use the app you see all results right away (within 30 mins after all blood tests, 10 mins after CT scans and ultrasounds). Big respect for everyone involved. I was extremely anxious at first but somehow got some comfort by the end. Stay healthy everyone.
