Edit 2: I left after 11 hours, after I was brought in by a by an ambulance and paramedics (who did a phenomenal job by the way) shoeless and in excruciating pain from a fracture that I sustained July 4th I went to the hospital because I couldn't drive, speak or breathe without excruciating pain, it took the staff 5 hours and my insistent begging until they finally decided I was worthy of a Tylenol. After 8 hours, I informed the staff that I am in pain and would like to be transported to a different location if they did not think that my case was enough of a priority for them, they repeatedly refused to transport or discharge me or give me any record of their refusal. When I started recording the conversation, one of the guards informed me that I am not allowed to record anything in the hospital and that I am welcome to leave, I informed them of my need to be seen by a doctor since it was the weekend and I would not be able to see my normal physician. After waiting for 2 more hours in the waiting room being ignored actively by the medical staff I had again asked them politely to be transported to a different location at their refusal. The Nurse in charge, Stormi (no last name provided) informed me in front of the entire waiting room that my case was not an emergency and that this was an emergency room, I had responded to her that if my case was not an emergency then they should transport me to a different location as required by law if she did not think my case was important enough for her to see me. She declined and again informed me that I am free to leave and that if I waited more they will see me, to which I told her that I came here in an ambulance without shoes. She went back inside and I waited some more only for a hospital employee to come out and offer me socks so I could leave the hospital apparently barefoot.
After I called the apprerant supervisor of the shift, (Chris, female, no last name provided) she said she would talk to the head nurse Stormi and call me back, she did not call me back, when I called back for an update she like her colleague berated me for my wasting of their time with a case that was not an emergency, she indicated to me that my trauma occurred last month, which was just not true, completely misrepresenting my case to me.
After realizing that someone described my case completely wrong I had given up on receiving professional care and asked the front desk for refusal documentation and discharge papers. They had repeatedly told me that I was not checked in yet and that they could not transfer me to a different hospital and would also charge me for the visit if I leave. The head nurse was refusing to talk to me and I had no outlet to voice my concerns in writing. After I informed them of my intention to file a complaint and sue, I was provided a bed in the hallway by the nurses break room. Over the past 11 hours I had my blood drawn and a urine sample collected, vitals checked 3 times and was seen by medical staff for a total of 7 minutes. And I was still waiting to be seen and examined by a doctor. I left after they left me an hour in that bed.

The only 2 people that were actually friendly to me were the buff guard that had the 10-6 shift and was extremely nice and professional, and Thomas who did a remarkable job drawing my blood. I wish I could review you independently but I can't. This was one of the worst experiences in my life. I am not a spot holder for you to hold until you feel like I am worthy of your time. I am the client. I pay the bill. And if I treated my clients like you did me, I would be unemployed in 2 weeks.
There are better and easier ways for you to make money that will not hurt living human beings that would suffer at your incompetence.

Edit: wow, I've never waited 9 hours to be seen by a doctor only to berated by the charge nurse about how my case is not important enough for her.

I had a terrible experience at this hospital. I went for an emergency due to a pregnancy loss and started with light bleeding. They made me wait over two hours before being seen and refused my request for a wheelchair, even though there were many available. My pain and bleeding worsened, but I was sent back to the waiting room multiple times. They claimed there were no beds or rooms available and prioritized emergencies by category. After hours of waiting, they sent me home with conflicting information: blood tests showed I was still pregnant, but the ultrasound did not. The staff lacked sensitivity and professionalism, dismissing my concerns as “normal.” I do not recommend this hospital.

IT USED TO BE GREAT I DONT KNOW WHAt HAPPENED
CAME IN TODAY AS I WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT 4 hours has pass by still NO admission to a bed
Front person JAIME IS ABSOLUTELY RUDE WITH THE WORDT ATTITUDE.
I totally understand as a nurse that working in urgent care is very hectic, but that is no excuse as to why this treatment should be given to patients when they are in worst pain. After sitting here, four hours in pain still no medication has been given, and still no answers as to When am I gonna be seen!!!
HOSPITAL HAS DEFINITELY GONE DOWNHILL
AND JAIME I HOPE YOU CAN LEARN BETER PATIENT CARE MANNERS !!!!
ER was full when I got here Seems like everyone was helped but me

5/31/24- I was brought to Northridge ER via ambulance for chest pain and consistent vomiting. I waited in the hall for 20 min, then was taken to a trauma room T-2. I then waited another 20 minutes for the doctor.
Without introducing himself, he asked why I was here. I explained everything, and it was documented . The doctor NEVER RETURNED! He sent the nurse in saying I have your discharge papers . No fluids, no medications at all.
I reviewed my paperwork and noticed my white count was up to 16. I asked about sending me home feeling this way, and the white count . He claimed the doctor said I was fine.
Well, that wasn't the case. The doctor Williams, who never returned, said discharge him via the nurse.
It's a shame that 1 guy can kill you in the hospital.
I have called customer care for review.
Doctor Williams is unprofessional and needs to learn how to treat people. We are essentially paying customers.
I then received a bill from LA care claiming that I was an inpatient overnight. Someone needs to step up at Northridge ER.

I’m speechless how nice and professional can they be. Starting outside securities front desk people … Special thanks to RN’s and Doctors.

I brought my niece into the ER because she was having seizures.
The ER department decided to treat her for a drug overdose. Why? Because after 2 years clean, she slipped one day. She was taken to the ER in for an unknown reason. Turns out drugs had nothing to do with either visit. She has neurological issue. They continue to treat her for a drug problem. Part of her real condition is that she is stressed and afraid of the world. So what do they do? Some idiot comes into her room without checking her chart and blurts out something that my niece is most afraid of in the world. Needless to say they have not helped her one bit. In fact they have gone out if their way to make her sicker. Now I have been going to this hospital ever since it was a little green building. I have always thought this was a great hospital. But if you ever have any symptoms that possibly could be related to drugs, DO NOT GO TO NORTHRIDGE HOSPITAL you will be treated like dirt. With rude and uninformed staff. This is not the only time they have done this to people I know.
I also know they treat what they think is drug related issues with such hateful hearts because I have been a patient there and was treated just fine but for my niece it gets worse.. The 4th floor the disgraceful treatment continues. She had been there 5 days, on her period, and over flowing on the bedding. No shower not even a bed bath. She was smelling and in desperate need of a shower. He husband arrived to clean her and after some choice words they agreed to let him shower her but, after they gave him the soap and towel they discharged her.
This is not all. There is a whole medical side if this that we may be forced to have addressed by an attorney.

I had a very good experience in the ER. Everyone was really kind and they took me right away of course I was having chest pains and tingling so that got me a lot of attention and the place was very busy it was a rainy Friday night but it wasn't as busy as it could have been from what I heard. It was somewhat chaotic but it's an emergency room so that's expected but the staff had it under control and everybody knew what they were doing. I was triaged quickly and got admitted to a room the rooms were clean.
