This hospital is one of the best hospitals I've been to. Dr Mondragon is awesome! He is amazing with my 3 kids when I've brought them here several times, he's was very patiently with my mom and father who I've also brought to this hospital, and my husband as well. He's very well spoken and is very kind, also very careful with his words, as of how he's explaining any of their situations or symptoms. Also the front check in lady with the beautiful puffy curly hair is very sweet. Really nice staff here. So far they have always taken the time to really check what the illness is and how to properly care for it. I will continue to keep coming to this location. Thank you all staff members, nurses and doctors for all that you do !

My mother was transported to this hospital on Jan 29 we arrived around 6:30. My mother was 86 years old complains of severe abdomen pain and had dangerously low blood pressure. The ent checked us in and we were placed in a long line of people in the hall. My mother was complaining of being cold. No one spoke to her no one looked at her we sat there around an hr or more the ent guy talked to a nurse who then put us in a room with a recliner. My mom then sat in there over an hr my sister made it to Tom all from Galveston and no one has looked at my mom yet a nurse came in to draw blood asked if the doctor had seen her I said no he then left and didn’t come back. My mom began vomiting and saying she felt bad. Another hr went by my mom slumped over and stared at the wall I ran into another room and told the nurses I think my mom is having a stroke. Then they come in and take her blood pressure it was super low then they take her into room 2 and start trying to get blood and start an iv. They were hurting my mother no one showed any compassion at all She started to not be Abel to breath. The dr finally showed up. And started talking about her age saying it was a lot to do to her. And are we sure we want to put her thru it. We said yes she deserves a chance. So then they put a tube in her mouth to help her breath. The dr wanted a ct scan but said her blood pressure was to low. So the scan was not done for hours. Meanwhile my mothers blood pressure is dangerously low and she is starting to not respond. She quit talking and was just staring at the wall. The dr then finally ordered the ct it is now 2 am the scan is done and it shows she has a torn artery in her abdomin her she was bleeding internally all that time. He ordered emergency transfusion. The nurses were moving at a snails pace. When the blood finally got there. The nurses were more worried about putting in the forms then getting it in my mom. So another 20 mins goes by then they can’t do the transfusion they don’t know how to use the machine. Meanwhile my mom is dying. They tried calling for two life flights to fly her to Baylor in the medical center thru both declined so we had to wait on an ambulance which took 30 mins to get there then it was another 20 mins to load her up it is now 5 am we are going to the medical center. They were not running lights and sirens the guy was driving slow. They were not lady in the back with my mom asked for an eta he says 15 mins she says lights and sirens now. We get to the hospital it was the wrong one we were suppose to go to Baylor we ended up at Methodist. They began cpr they asked me what happened I told the dr. They rushed her in working on her. They took me in the other room then they come and get me They are still working on her and are about to call her death. They get a pulse and begin one more round. The dr ordered his ct and got it right away. He told me thru were doing cpr on her enr to the hospital for 15 minutes and then 15? More mins there. He said he could do the surgery but she didn’t have oxygen to her brain for 30 mins so she could survive but she would just lay there pretty much brain dead. We let her go. My mother was ignored and treated terribly at this hospital er. No one spoke to us they just let her sit there. If they would have started working on her when we got there at 6:30. I believe she might have made it. Due to the negligence and incompetence here my mother died. She was in pain and put thru all sorts of poking and prodding for nothing. The nurses didn’t even talk to her they treated her like she was a pillow lying there or something there was no compassion from the nurses. I was there flipping out and the employees were all chatting with each other and joking meanwhile my beloved mother was dying. Do not go to this er. Nothing but incompetence All the hospitals in Houston we’re on drive by so we were taken to this one in tomball then had to go back the opposite direction for treatment. My mother deserved better treatment than this.

I've Been Coming Here For over 10 years and loved the staff, doctors etc told so many people this is the best hospital so even if it's dealing with me, family or anyone I've always thought Patient Privacy and confidential was the #1 thing and today I come in and first thing that bothered me was that they made like my health problem wasn't seriously important with having real bad chest pains, badly breathing etc they sat me in a hallway like I wasn't important to be in a room then when I said about why I can't be in a room the nurse said your health goes by a importance scale and I was at a 2 which means it ain't shit, so I been sitting in the hallway for over 5 hours and so many people come passing by in and out looking like if I knew this was going to happen and treated like I wasn't shit, I would've rather stayed at home and had my privacy and dealt with the pain. To top it off the triage nurse with long gray hair at the top and brown at the bottom said to another nurse if you want to see if it's any other room available or clean you can so someone can get it but she wasn't worried about it, yea its no compassion and understanding with nurses anymore they just here for a Check. They don't care about your health let alone your privacy or confidential and when they talk about your results or anything personal they loud so other people can hear it which is very much a hippa violation. Today is October 18, 2024 I've been here since 9a.m & this is Ridiculous

People look at your statements. $314 in addition to my bill for IV therapy I NEVER made it past triage!! The doctor even squatted right there and talked to me! I never was brought back to a room and never had an IV.!!!! A. BILLION/trillion dollar industry!!! That’s unethical, it’s unprofessional , unacceptable. No accountability! NOT OK! THE hospital Board of Directors should know. They take a hippocratic oath, which they disregard.

Called several times to different departments right around Thanksgiving NO RESPONSE even waited after the holiday. Nothing!!! They make it impossible even after their digital response on this post!! They make it difficult!!. This has been such a negative experience. Wrongly billed and I am familiar with billing and coding! I am certified so I KNOW!

Every time I have called they hung up the phone. This location has people they should have been fired because my baby never got his ear infection medicine and that was over three weeks ago and now this. Just got to another hospital because it’s not worth the unnecessary wait.

I had an awful time. The young lady with the long blonde/black hair who checked me in was the only kind person I encountered. I waited around 45 minutes for triage and then was sat in a room to wait for the doctor. He ordered blood work, and to give me fluids plus pain medicine. The nurse who did my blood work dug around in my veins and poked me twice? I asked if there would be any rooms available she said oh no honey we’re way too busy for that you’re going into the waiting room. So I have to walk with my IV stand to the waiting room where I proceeded to pass out and wake up due to the pain medication for 5 hours. They had me signing paperwork when I was under the influence and could barely hold my head up. I’d been vomiting for hours, in intense pain and unable to keep any food or water down. I literally didn’t care about my blood work I just wanted to go home and rest because there was no reason to be there I wasn’t really even receiving care. It took me asking twice for someone to take my IV out to finally be listened to, and an hour later I’m put in some tiny radiology changing room with glass all over the floor so I could be discharged. The doctor ofc had no diagnosis because how could he? He only ran blood work and urine. No CT, X-rays or ultrasounds. I also felt a little profiled because I got drug tested? I’ve never had that happen before I mean I guess I looked rough but jeez, I’m sorry but I’m not coming in here faking symptoms to get drugs I’m seeking help.. I got none of that. The results for the drug test were clear btw. I don’t recommend this emergency room.

I won’t ever be returning.

I have a question for the ER management team.
Do you know why people coming to the ER? I tell you why for sure you don't know the answer.
Because they need an immediate treatment!!!
We arrived around 6:30 PM, and they called us in about 20-30 minutes for triage. That was very quick time to check the vital conditions and we sent to a room with a long time waiting to see the doctor after 30 minutes ER provider visited us for about 2 or 3 minutes and asked us to go and sit in the lobby we will call you for blood test and IV.
It's been almost 3 hours and we haven't received any treatment yet!!
My husband is shaking and he doesn't feel good at all.
I asked the lady in the receptionist how many patients are before us but
She said I don't know , who suppose to know
You are here to give us information and help us for having smooth service.
You are going to charge your patience a lot but you even don't provide the proper service to them.
Here at this emergency room you don't have anything to drink or eat!
If you have long time waiting you must have something to help your patience feel better.
I'm not satisfied with your service at all.. Don't come here !

I was seen the evening of 4-4-2023.
I was sent over by urgent care. If I could give St. Luke's Vintage ER more stars I would. I received excellent care by the entire staff from the front, nurses, doctor and x-ray tech.
Dr. Mary Lytwyn provided excellent care.
They were all very compassionate, kind, sympathetic and took time to listen to everything I had going on and it was a lot. Unfortunately the referral they gave me is out of network for my insurance however, that is out of there control.
