There is quite some wait sometimes, docs are usually good; my last visit had a very knowledgeable surgeon operate on me immediately; this time it seems it’s more tests and scans and I’ll be referred to a doctor next. The facility is very nice; I live the eggshell in the flooring

Superb medical staff and management. I do like Henderson Hospital but overall this ER is superior to HH. They go above and beyond to help you and the quality of care is excellent. I believe without the best leadership, you will never succeed and one reason why this E.R. is the most superior is due to management. So yes, highly recommended in an emergency! A+

DR Blake, she was nice, but, said she would be back. Didn’t know she was called to a code. Should have told me that. 3 hours, to get a piece of my hearing aid out of the canal. Carla, was the worst& nasty. Nurses not friendly or courteous, to say the least👎I went to ER on Nov 10th at St Martine. Staff was fantastic, friendly & professional. I can’t walk on my own. Asked Carla, if she could help me, she said I’de have to wait for a wheelchair. That never happened. I asked 3 different people to help me. It never happened. Caught the security guard, who did👍 I will NEVER come back here. Beino Zenna

Be prepared for test after test with no explanation before or after their completion . Little concern for the patient by most staff. If you question anything be prepared for a well executed “guilt trip”.

Bottom line. Unless you have no choice - go somewhere where $$$ is totally driving the train.

Dignity’s standard “ form “ reply to 1 star reviews is to contact them by email or phone . I chose to call. One of the phone options given is to contact the Emergency Room Director. I did, twice - both times leaving my name, date of ER visit and phone number. I did not receive a return call.
IMO: Dignity should consider rewriting their mission statement regarding receiving health care services in a compassionate environment that meets the physical, mental and spiritual of their patients. Dignity ER management needs to take a closer look at the videos of ER visits.

First visit for a laceration, they incorrectly put my staples in. I had to deal with excruciating pain the entire recovery due to the staples incorrect placement. On my most recent visit I was told the program for psyche evaluation would be free although was later billed, before the evaluation I was not told of blood test they were going to do, or anything they did until right as they came to do it. The doctors there also seem to have a lack of empathy and care, overall it’s a terrible place to pick if you have the option.

Care has significantly degraded at this location. Over an hour of biohazard on a chair in the ER lobby and no attempt to clean that up despite staff and security both witnessing it.
They also shared personal health information and diagnoses with patients in the lobby.
If possible, seek care elsewhere.

If I could leave a 0 star review about the horrible experience we had with this hospital today I would. Our 19 year old daughter had a high fever and had to be transported by ambulance to this hospital today. We are here visiting and this was the closest to our location. From the moment we arrived our daughter was treated horribly by the nurses and staff. Never have we experienced such horrible and incompetent care. They left us sitting in the waiting room while she shook and couldn't form coherent speech. When they finally came out to take her they would not allow any family member to come in with her. She had no phone or means of communication and was clearly distraught. She was left sitting in the hallway with no help. As a mother of four children and a army medic.....this was absolutely a horrible experience for her. I spoke with the nursing staff at the front and was dismissed and told to speak with security very rudely. Security was also extremely rude and refused to even allow her to be given my phone to communicate with us in the waiting room. Her phone was retrieved from our Airbnb and a nurse FINALLY gave it to her. We called her immediately to find her sobbing and begging to leave. Telling us how awful the nurses were to her and also to other patients. That they actually yelled at an elderly man for no reason and refused to help him. Condescending, rude and abusive. Clearly watching TV, listening to Joe Rogans podcast and gossiping was much more important than patient care. I went to the front and asked for them to remove the IV that the paramedics placed (who were kind and amazing) so we could leave. The nurse would not stop gossiping to remove the IV. I told her to come out and I would remove it at home. She was then told they would call the police. It was finally removed without cleaning and blood all over her arm. We left and honestly are still shocked at this experience. She said she has never been treated this badly by anyone in any type of situation....and she competes in a high impact equestrian sport that has had her in the hospital more than once. I absolutely understand now why they would not let us back. They didn't want coherent people seeing how badly people were treated. Such a shame and it is clear some type of investigation is needed to address these issues.

I do not care about any excuses that will pop up by the hospital regarding this situation and in response to this review ....it should never happen. Part of being a nurse, doctor, or emergency responder is treating patients with kindness and care. NO MATTER WHAT. PERIOD. It is pretty basic. There are no excuses. If this can't happen, then these staff members should find more suitable career options. We have been in hospitals many times over the years and none of us has ever dealt with this type of behavior. As parents we know our children and if the nurse cannot even be bothered to hear that convulsions, muscle spasms and stuttering is not normal to their child in fever situations......listening would be helpful. In place of doing an actual assessment and hearing medical history....we were treated in a condescending way and she was actually told she was probably having a panic attack. No, she wasn't. She was clearly feverish and disoriented. In the end, we had to take our ill daughter out of the hospital without any answers because staying was more concerning than leaving. Left to seek care elsewhere. Would it be difficult to give even a small amount of kindness to someone who is clearly in distress and scared?

I truly hope that this doesn't continue to happen to other patients. Maybe our review will stop someone else from having this same experience or the hospital will actually check out what is happening.

Waited 5 hrs at the er for results. Then they discharged me, with out a doctor talking to me, and they said they will call me to give me results over the phone. Like are you serious! Hate it there!
