Couldn't find entrance for several minutes that I had to call the hospital, was directed by the security officer and 2 staff. In the hospital, the one star is for the nurse who cleaned my son's ear, she got a 5 star but the rest of the hospital brought it down to 1 star. Was just given the discharge papers and no directions out, I made it out finally 🙌 all by myself and the lady who swiped her card for the door to open.
The customer service and the nurse who questioned us in the room was definitely not having a good morning. This is my first negative comment an ER, but it's something I must do.

77 years old disabled with diabetes with fever and lower sugar blood in an emergency , a drain from him liver, still waiting for more than 2 h , no room, no water, dirty floor, disgusting restroom. This situation is very sad, because I feel that it is not the staff's fault, they are very kind, but this hospital really needs to take action. The last time I came, I thought it was a bad day, today I confirm that the hospital has this problem, my father came in the morning with a situation, they sent him home and unfortunately we have had a return on the same day... It really looks like a waiting room in a first world hospital, it's very sad that this happens here, when the services are so expensive. I feel very disappointed and so sad.

At around 2.30am Finally they took my father to the emergency rooms About 7 hours later ; before that , I asked the reception person every two hours how much longer I should wait, Whenever I asked, they would make a face of surprise when I gave the last name , That told me that something was wrong with his check in, When I saw that everyone who arrived after him was called, I asked again, that's when someone from the lobby told me, your dad is supposed to be in room 12 Hours ago, they were never going to call him, because the system already knew he was inside. This place made me lose confidence in emergency rooms..
Really sad, because the staff and doctors are so kind..

Was admitted at Baylor Scott & White in Round Rock. They took me to run some tests and while I was getting tested they switched my bed and threw my phone away with the sheets. I filed a complaint to the administration and they said we don’t reimburse lost phones. My phone wasn’t lost it was thrown in the trash because my brother tracked it down to the landfill. So disappointed in patient relations. I’m disabled and can’t afford a new phone. -David P.

Been to this ER twice. Once for my toddler and once for my infant. 1st time couldn't find the entrance due to construction. Had to hike just to get to the entrance. There was blood on the patients toilet and they didn't have any pediatric medical supplies. They couldn't find a vein for my son's IV and poked him 4+ times and dug around before calling in a nurse who had a better "hit" record and an ultrasound machine. My son was 3 and traumatized. 2nd time around took my 17 month old who was having complications from RSV. ER still a mess and under construction, waiting room is tiny, dirty, bright lights and loud TV. We left before seeing the Dr. and went to St. David's Children's Hospital in Austin. Extremely long wait times. No beds. Skip the BSW Round Rock ER and save a trip.

I had severe stomach pain and nausea that had not subsided after 3 days. I’m not one to go to the doctor or ER but after waking to extreme nausea again I figured I should be checked out. I live right down the street so I figured I’d go in and be out with just meds. It was more than that and I needed same day surgery for treatment. The nurse I had was beyond phenomenal, all the nurses were pleasant and very kind. The female doctor on duty was very sweet as well, considering the small spaces and renovations going on, I was very much taken care of. I didn’t experience or see any dirty or under standard areas in the facility. The surgical team as well were all very welcoming and made me feel so comfortable since it was the first time I’d be under going general anesthesia. I would name them all if I could but thank you for taking such great care of me.

Almost 3 hrs and still havent been seen. Should be illegal to run an "emergency room" if you take that long to see patients. Poor management, under staffed, poorly trained staff not sure. I could've drove to Bryan and still been seen faster. Save yourself and your family the trouble in an emergency and go elsewhere

Avoid at all costs! A week ago (6pm Friday night) I took my husband there for severe pain from his sciatica. The ER itself if cramped and dirty. We got called back by the nurse who took vitals etc and then said no beds available we had to go back out to the waiting room. When we went back out people were telling us they had been there for 4 hours to even get a bed/room. We had a guy next to us in handcuffs brought in by the police and they wheeled out a super old guy in a gown that didn’t fit him - so sad. We eventually left and went to another ER. Our primary care has always been through BSW so I was horrified this was their ER.

The Emergency Room in Round Rock was unsanitary, run down, cramped and the wait time to be seen by a doctor was around two hours. While the receptionist and nurses were nice and took good care of us, the doctor did not comport himself in a professional manner (I’m being nice). No one anticipates needing an ER, but now that we know what this place is like, any future needs will be taken care of elsewhere. I can’t recommend them.
