Absolutely a wonderful ER. Great staff y Dr. Was taken right in and care started right then. No wait. One of the best overall exams in my 78 years. Staff listened attentively y did not rush me. Very nice y very patient. Explained all tests y results in detail. Very clean.Would highly recommend. Organizational skills was tops.Would give 10 stars if possible.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the level of care and service provided during a recent visit to your facility on 11/30/2024. My partner and I arrived around 8:00 PM because he had got injured at his job and was experiencing concerning symptoms.
The visit started well, as he was promptly checked in and initially examined. However, we were then sent back to the waiting room, where we waited approximately four hours before being taken to a room again. Once there, he was briefly assessed, and we were told, āWeāll be back with those labs.ā Unfortunately, no one returned with any updates.
A staff member came in to take blood, left, and did not return until discharge timeāhours later, around 2:40 AM. Despite having a chest X-ray, blood work, and an EKG, none of the results were shared with us. Instead, we were abruptly told he was being discharged, given some vague instructions about breathing exercises, and advised to return if his condition worsened.
To add to this frustration, when he informed his job of the situation, they required a doctorās note to excuse him from work due to the incident. This essential documentation should have been provided during or at the conclusion of his treatment. As a result, we had to return to the ER at approximately 3:30 AM just to obtain this note, only to be told he would have to wait again.
This experience was unacceptable for several reasons:
1. Excessive Wait Times: Waiting over six hours for incomplete information and care is unreasonable and unprofessional.
2. Lack of Communication: We were never informed about his test results or given a proper explanation of his condition.
3. Failure to Provide Essential Documentation: The doctorās note should have been issued during discharge, not after an additional trip to the ER.
This lack of organization and follow-through caused undue stress, wasted our time, and left us feeling unheard and neglected. I am deeply disappointed in the care provided and would like a formal response addressing these concerns. Additionally, I request that you review your processes to prevent similar issues for other patients in the future.

We came in around 10am for my elderly grandma whom is in her 80s. She had chest pain and side pain and abdomen pains. We were checked in quick and vitals were taken in a timely manner.
We have been waiting in the lobby for over 5 hours and counting. When I asked what the hold up was I was advised the emergency room was filling up from ambulances first. People who have been checked in when we came have come and gone but we were in "the longer wait" category. In other words temple emergency room has no organization and it is not even a first come first serve sick/level situation. It's a goodluck being seen because ambulances will always take priority.
I mean come on you have loads of people crying in pain in the waiting area...waiting to be seen only to be seen 5hrs later from checking in
Update: it has now been 10 hours and we are STILL here. We have been pulled in after hour 8 and they keep giving us the run around. Never will we come back to the er here.

This might be a little long but a few weeks ago I came into the ER absolutely beside myself with anxiety from my CPTSD. The doctor was amazing and didnāt hesitate to give me meds to bring me back down. After labs and X-rays to rule out anything else it was $3300. Went earlier this week same problem. But even more hysterical than last time bc it just wouldnāt stop (panic attacks). I waited 5 hours for him to come back and tell me he wonāt be doing anything for me and to talk to my psyche the next day. That was
$2000 for them to only do labs and stick me in a room for 5 hours.
Please train your doctors/staff to know what to do when someone comes to the er in crisis. Especially when their medications are clearly not working. I didnāt eat all day. Struggled with sleep. It was awful. I almost put myself into inpatient at canyon creek. Be wary those with mental illness.

It's not like any emergency room I've ever been to. To me it doesn't even seem like the staff treats anything as an emergency. I've been up here five times in the past year with my wife who has had medical issues. And every time I am stuck in this waiting room for 4 and 1/2 hours or more. So if you don't have anything left to do for the rest of the day sure you can come here but if you're about to die I would definitely go somewhere else cuz you're probably not going to get seen before you pass. It's the most asinine thing I've ever seen.

When I went the staff was very nonchalant, apathetic, and did not show any kindness. You will want to train your to staff to be empathetic and offer water. I was in the ER for 4 hours and was not once offered any water or bread, thatās really inhumane and shows you donāt care for oneās health.

11/15 went into ER @ 2:30 pm, my husband just had surgery on Tues, his leg was in a cast and the RX blocked him up to the point of agonizing pain-10+. It had been 4 days of nothing, when he was an every am like clockwork. So, off to emergency because they turned us away at the clinic, no more walk in's. The ER waiting area had only 4 other patients so I thought we would get in and out. We sat fora while, He wanted to scream from pain but did not. Finally after over an hour sitting/standing he was taken into triage for vitals and then placed back into the waiting room. He was in a wheelchair and of course he had to urinate. I had to physically take him into the men's bathroom, make sure no one was there and help him get into a stall. Plus, it was nasty and smelly, but we made it ok. Because of the wheelchair it's not the easiest entry because the dang auto door opener was broken. That was a hot mess, but we gotten it done. So we waited again for another almost 2 hours, still not a full waiting room. Again back to the bathroom, struggled into the men's bathroom. Damn.. One guy came in, I said sorry and had the stall door held closed. Ewe .. So we went back to the waiting room but this time we propped up by the door so someone would visually see us. After another hour, he was still squirming in pain. Then, a nurse saw him, he had to come ask our name!! ..Well damn, isn't there a list showing who's waiting to be seen!! .. He took us back, said he we'd need a CT 1st. He put us in a room, Ok great, a room nurse came in and started getting him ready, but she was putting the wires on him to hook up to the monitor. I said doesn't he have to get a CT Oh crap, had to take all the sticky pads off of him for that.. what the heck. We waited again. Finally he was wheeled away for that. He returned, still in extreme pain and we waited for the results. An hour almost past and a 1st yr resident came in, said he's packed back there-(DUH).. I told her at home we tried an enema, but it didn't work. She left, by then he almost broke off the railings on the gurney from pain. After waiting again, a doctor came in explained the details of the CT and then left. The young resident came back and said she could write us RX for Murilax... I told her we have that S---t!! at home, We don't want a damn RX, we need relief NOW...She left again.. So of course, shift change happened and someone new came in. My husband yelled and said HE DEMANDED AN ENEMA IMMEDIEATLY!!!!!!!! She apologized and went to get everything, preformed the procedure and by 7:40 he was finally relieved. I have never SEEN A BOWL OF ROCKS THE SIZE IF MT. HELENS.. IT took 5 min and he was finally out of pain. Then another wave occurred again almost half as much. Thank you Jesus... Our prayers were over and he was out of pain. Our nurse Shi ..( Hope I spelled it correctly) was quick, fast and efficient. SHE GOT THE JOB DONE!!, then returned with our discharge papers. That only took 10 minutes but It took 5+ hours to get to that point. Thankfully, he was returned back to normal. Maybe they didn't want to do that procedure and hope'd we'd go home.. not sure but that was un- necessary to just leave us in the room that long and in that much pain. Very disappointed in Temple ER.. Aftermath, blood and rectal tissue for a few days after but not in as much pain as before..... I WILL NOT GO BACK THERE... E V E R.. sorry-no photos- it would gross you out what was removed..š³

They give you a bill before they even discharge you from the ER. Won't wait for it go through insurance. Registration person is adamant that paying right now is the norm and is gaslighting me about it. It's past midnight and I just want to go home and I want dearly to never see this place again.
