I had a challenging experience during my visit. After waiting for almost four hours, I ultimately decided to leave without seeing a doctor. The waiting area was quite cold, which made the long wait even more uncomfortable. A staff member kindly suggested that I try managing my symptoms at home with medication, but I was still concerned about my back pain, which I suspect could be related to my lungs after a severe flu. I understand that healthcare facilities can be very busy, but I was hoping for a more reassuring experience. If you have other options, it may be worth considering them.

I have had Kaiser for about a month now and they have done more for me than my previous provider did in 2 months. The staff there is all very kind and caring and sympathetic. Unfortunately I have ended up in the emergency room three times for chronic pain. The doctors recognize that right away. Especially thanks to DrSubramanian. He recognized right away the medication was not strong enough and he expedited my oncology referral. Which is what I needed all along.Dr Nguyen was very knowledgeable and told me how I could upload my pet scan DVDs to the hospital database. Thank God I'm with Kaiser now. The other provider made me fend for myself in getting referrals. Yesterday afternoon somebody called me to schedule the oncology consult. Then a nurse from oncology called to tell me she would be my my expeditor Why am I always surprised when I get good service like that? Kaiser really stands Head and Shoulders Above the Rest. Thank you for helping me.

I took my child there for a doctor's second opinion and doctor Nguyen,Thien H.(M.D)was so rude. My child was diagnosed with pneumonia in another hospital. She had fever for a week and she seems not to do better he told me to stop giving her pain medication if her temperature is 1003.1 tha t is not considered a fever he told me, and that she only have influenza and that is normal for her to breathe fast when she sleeps after I told him she also have asthma and when he checked my child's ear he was so aggressive that my 10 year old was ouching! I told him she was also feeling weak and he said can she get up to use the bathroom I say yes and he said there's no need for her to stay home you can send her to school now but if you want her to stay home I give you a note. The point was my daughter wasn't feeling good at all and he treated me like if I was an ignorant after I been dealing with my daughter's health condition for 7 years which is severe asthma and 18 allergens. If they don't how to treat a patient they shouldn't become doctors.

I cannot express how thankful I am for the quick and efficient service I received here last night. My husband and I got her would 11pm because I was having a pregnancy emergency. We were checked in and seen about 35 minutes after we arrived. (Considering the emergency waiting room was very full, this was very fast.) once we were taken to the room, the sweetest nurse came in and got me all set up. A few minutes later, the M.D came in and checked me out and ordered labs and ultrasound and told me he would get the obgyn down to see me soon. By this time, it was midnight. I was surprised how fast everything was done. Fast forward to 2:30am, I was told I needed surgery and it would be done within the next hour. This part kinda got me upset because a new nurse came in and was such an airhead and I really mean that. When she was reading the procedure, she literally told me I was going to get my tubes and ovaries removed and freaked me out for NO reason. Mind you, she was reading off the chart so I got scared that was ordered without my consent. Then, she made me sign a paper twice because she spelled my name incorrectly. I was ready to kick her out of my room, it was as if she literally didn’t know what she was doing. I didn’t get her name but she was wearing a fire department hoodie that night. Anyway, after that horrible situation, I was taken to the OR and met by the NICEST people! The anesthesiologist, the OR nurse and even Dr Minh & Dr Mann. They made sure I was comfortable and explained everything to me and made sure I understood everything before they began. After my surgery, my post op nurse was so so nice, she made sure I was okay and helped me out soooo much. She was by far the best nurse I had that night. I was so drowsy so I didn’t get her name but wow, Kaiser needs to hire more people like her. Anyway, I had a similar surgery done last year somewhere else and I could just feel how much more gentle the doctors at Kaiser were with my body since I had the worst pain with the other hospital prior. Here, I was able to walk and drink water right after my surgery and even have minimal pain. Thank you to all the staff, (except the nurse that ruined my night) everyone else was so so kind and I will forever be grateful to them all!

This is a fabulous and extremely compassionate emergency room. The nurses and staff are really trying to ensure the patients are comfortable and also letting the family know as much as they can while still maintaining the patient’s privacy. My daughter was brought to the ER last night (July 16) and I wanted to thank everyone that helped.

Why do the sadistic use harmful restraints based on false witness. I'm all brushed up.
I could take them to Medical Quality Board of Assurance...send photos to lawyer. One good thing was the Chicken sandwich. They discharged me 3:45 am a nice hour to get killled

The worst emergency room experience. Was sent over here from urgent care with appendicitis. Over 2 hours so far and no movement at the emergency room. It’s 12:01am and I arrived at urgent care at 6:00pm. Horrible to treat people like this waiting so long to be cared for.

Terrible hospital. Terrible staff. We arrived with a 3-year-old son who was vomiting for more than 5 hours. We were not admitted for a very, very, very long time. the child was so bad, I asked the staff to talk to the manager, but was refused. because the manager is very busy. If you feel bad, think 100 times before going here. Better look for another hospital. The staff there is heartless.. I recommend they all go to Emergency Sacramento and learn how to work.
