Similar to the previous reviews, nice staff but maybe unorganized department. We came around 4-5 am. The waiting area was filthy with trash and leaves, the seats are disgusting, one of the windows shattered .The care was great but yes they have you waiting hours on end in the lobby with a needle in your arm. The staff would also call on one patient and a minute later a different staff would call that same patient, maybe some paperwork/communication issues. Came in for elevated blood pressure, got a CT scan and blood work ordered, it has been over 5 hours, still currently waiting. Some improvements should be made, feels like weāre being held hostage.

The physician who initially examined my elderly fatherās condition, was good. Given the conditions of the ER dept. During the several hours he spent in an older wheelchair without being checked on by RNās, while in severe pain. We decided to seek attention ourselves. Only to be confronted by security for blocking a barricaded and locked door. As my father was in a significant amount of pain, he became frustrated, and was asked to wait outside by two RNās. Then the power went out due to a storm. I then had to have a conversation with the security supervisor and the two RNās about the situation and lack of checking on the patients on their charge. I explained how a patient could become irritated and frustrated while in pain, as they should know from basic course work. I could go on bedside manner, lack of care, poor conditions, ect. But, having my father sit outside in the rain because he had become upset that he was in pain and felt forgotten in a hallway is pretty unacceptable.
As a disabled veteran, I never thought Iād see a lack of care lower than the VA. But, the actions and facilities of this hospital has shown that even a well funded hospital can sink lower.

Worst emergency room. Avoid coming to this place. I will never be coming back. We arrived at 3pm. It is now 8:37pm and we are still waiting to hear back from someone. We asked about 3 different nurses to get an update of our visit and nobody could provide anything.

arrive with my 2-year-old boy with a fever, I tell them that his stomach was shaking and he had diarrhea, so they can tell me it's normal, and they only prescribe me tylenol and motrin š”, that can be obtained without a prescription and less than 100 dollars, what? Is it worth waiting and paying so much?

We have been waiting for over 7 hours. This emergency room is unorganized. Staff is constantly calling for patients who are no longer in the waiting room since they have already been called. We were quoted an hour for a CT scan result, still waiting on those results 5 hours later. Staff is a reflection of management. Chief of service Matthew Pilsbury should try to be a patient. Put himself in our shoes and wait these ridiculous hours. Then we get told that if we sign off to discharge it would be āagainst medical advice.ā Horrible experience, do not come here.

I went to the emergency room tonight to be seen and the nurse in all purple with Purple thick crocs helping everyone check in asked the people ahead of me their check in status and chief complaint and after me it was like as if I wasnāt standing there and Iām linking this to being a woman of color Pure Racism and I donāt doubt it and while I pay my insurance through my job sheās getting paid because of our tax dollars and then government etc., however the way she did me when I said Maāam I was here before them she walked away saying Iām not going in order but clearly I seen her doing that before hand and I made a complaint with members services and I know it will not go anywhere but when I tell you the differences and help your own is real itās evident and I seen it and felt it tonight and she didnāt even know why I was there to be seen itās so bad nowadays itās in the medical services and KAISER WILL DO NOTHING I BET IT WAS MORE OF A CATER TO A CERTAIN COLOR AND ITS ACTUALLY HAPPENING SAD TO SAY. Iām pulling my insurance out of here I do not care and this they cannot clean up pull those cameras and watch your RNās KAISER WHO ARE YOU all HIRING? Tonight the woman in purple CAUCASIAN OR HISPANIC BLONDE AND BLACK STREAKS OF HAIR A LICENSED NURSE AN RN AT THAT TO UPHOLD HER MORAL DUTIES TO PATIENTS WE ARE ALL EQUAL FAILED KAISER TONIGHT. SCAN THE CAMERAS AROUND 630pm to see the NURSE YOU ALL HIRED WALK OUT THAT EMERGENCY DOOR PASS ONE RACE UP TO ASK ANOTHER WHAT WAS THEIR CHEIF COMPLAINT at CHECK-IN.

My experience started of good. Hospital staff was kind. However, they did not seem that busy and it took a long time for me to be seen. I was left with a needle in my arm for several of hours before having it removed. I was then asked to go to the lobby and wait to be seen again. I was then in the lobby for quite sometime before I was seen again. The process took so long and at the end of the day, I would have rather stayed home and saves $100.

I came to this ER for extreme lower abdominal pain. The waiting room was very dirty. The floor had bottles, barf bags and trash all over it. The lady at check in had no friendliness. The worst part was the PA that treated me. The PA's name is Aishwarya Yagnik. On first meeting with her she seemed more interested in my fingernail polish then finding out why I was in the ER. Being friendly is good but you need to assess a patient somewhat quickly to make sure nothing is seriously wrong. I waited 7 hours before I got discharged and it wasnt even busy. She told me in a hurry before discharge that my CT scan showed Entrocolitis but that I didn't have that because I didn't have the symptoms of it and she has no clue where my pain is coming from. First of all, if my scan shows something and the radiologist writes it in the report, that means it is there. Also I do have the symptoms of it. Second of all she said I have a "mild" UTI and gave me heavy doses of antibiotics for it that she told me it would be for 5 days and then the RX was for 10 days. I had a feeling something was weird so I requested all my records from that night from Kaiser. When I look in my records it shows moderate UTI not mild. I followed up with my primary Doctor and he told me I was on the WRONG medication all together and switched it. He also had to add a second medication. It seems as though this PA is trying to play Doctor without consulting with one. Someone really needs to talk to this PA. God forbid someone has a life threatening emergency and they are in her hands and end up dead.
