I found ER repair after getting the run around by GE warranty repair on my brand new washer. It was brand new. It never let water into the washer on any setting but normal w/cold water. GE warranty sent all kinds of characters to my house that ran the gamut from telling me there was nothing wrong, to not knowing how to fix it, not having the diagnostic tools for a GE appliance... to even a tech that steadfastly refuse to fix it, and instead had a personal conversation with his bank while in my house about his account and then left without touching anything. It was so ridiculous.
Finally, after nearly a year of this... I decided to find an appliance repair on my own and not through GE warranty repair. I was tired of only being able to wash my clothes with cold water....
So, I called my normal appliance repair company. As soon as I told them I had one of the new GE washers, they stopped me short and told me that they do not work on these because they are pieces of junk. I wasn't surprised to hear this, but I was disappointed.
This led me to Google where I found ER Appliance Repair. They advertised that they fix GE appliances. They are a family business. When I called, it wasn't a call center overseas. So, I didn't hang up.
The girl who answered the phone was responsive. She seemed to be attentive and intelligent. She listened, understood what I was saying. She took notes and didn't blow me off. Then, she followed up with an appointment, confirmed that the parts were available. Communicated w/the technician. She also followed up on communicating with me.
When the Technician (Daniel) was scheduled to arrive, he communicated w/me and came within the agreed window. He was clean and dressed appropriately. He was pleasant and attentive. Most importantly - he knew his stuff!!! He had the tools, he had the diagnostic app on his phone and the diagnostic box to plug into the washer. Within 10 minutes - he knew what was wrong and what part to order.
2 days later - after the part came in... My washer is now fixed. I also now have a new appliance repair company. I'm not happy very often... but this company is top notch.
