I want to thank the entire staff at ER at Desert Edge. I have been here on 4 separate occasions 3 times for my children and today I went for myself. Every time I go the staff goes above and beyond to make sure we are ok. Today I went in for chest pains and I was afraid it may have been something detrimental and the doctor and nurses made sure they heard me out. They gave me an ekg and a xray and the entire time they made sure I didn’t feel alone even when I cried. For weeks i didn’t realize I was battling anxiety but today the doctor helped me figure it out and he sent me home with a action plan. This particular visit means a lot to me because I’ve been to other Emergency Rooms in Vegas but no physician has ever given me the reassurance that I received today. Whoever owns this facility I want to commend you, you hired the best team!

I went to the ER and was out within an hour. Dr Scherr was very thorough with his work up. the nurses were also amazing! This is the place to go if you need prompt care without long wait time.

I had gone to an urgent care and another ER before coming to this place and the treatment I got did not settle anything at these other places. I was taken right away to the back and promptly attended to. The doctor, Dr Eugene Kang, showed up right away, sat down and talked to me for a good 5 minutes or more to try and get to the bottom of what was going on. He also checked to see exactly where my pain was coming from. The other places I felt like they were just going through the motions and not really address the real issue or investigate. I had a CT scan with contrast and I will say too, the resulting write up was much more detailed then the CT scan I had at another location - there it was too broad brushed, little detail. Anyway, what he prescribed has so far dealt with the issue and I haven't felt a need to seek further treatment at the present time. I will followup with my primary care at some point. But from my experience, I highly recommend this place and hope the other doctors are as attentive as Dr Kang was.

When I called to ask if they had a CT scan at Desert Edge ER, the lady I spoke to was so helpful & patient with my questions. I suspected that my severe lower back cramps and pain in location area of kidneys was because I had kidney stones again, she told me to that Yes, they had a CT scan and that they were open. When I arrived, they took me right in, I told them I hadn’t eaten all day due to nausea from the pain and the head Nurse, I believe her name was Stella, she hooked me up to an I.V. They took a urine sample and ran a CT scan on me, hooked me up to a heart monitor too. I passed a kidney stone and on the scan it showed swelling in my right ureter where the one kidney stone had passed & that I showed kidney stones in my left kidney. They gave me pain medicine & kept me there until the IV was empty. Then sent me home with a prescription for pain meds if I needed it. Dr.Lance Allgower, the CT Tech, the Head Nurse Stella, Jo the nurse working on duty in my room , the receptionist, PBX Operator answering the phones at Desert Edge Emergency Department, were all so attentive and compassionate towards me from the moment I arrived bent over in so much pain from Kidney stones. I felt relieved when I realized their was no wait time, everyone working there made sure I was comfortable and that all my needs were taken care of. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer group of people to take care of me, I’m so grateful to all of them. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing immediate Medical assistance.
