I’m a healthy professional now retired nana 57 year old with throbbing tooth pain & my blood pressure was high compared to my normal blood pressure. My Apple Watch was alerting me to my vitals are not normal my BP high. I couldn’t sleep or rest. We went in yesterday. The EKG and everything looked good for my heart, except the heart rate. the doctor tried to “sell me” on that I have anxiety. He ordered me anxiety medication. I left very frustrated and still in pain. Today we drove to the cities for emergency dental care, they pulled the tooth. It was an infection in the roots of my tooth. My pain is gone, my blood pressure back to normal. I’m not sure I’d ever return to your facility. I sure hope this doctor receives a copy of this review.

I had my baby via C section at Essentia Health, Moose Lake in July. I cannot say enough great things about my experience. The nurses and doctors were so knowledgeable, caring and attentive. I previously had my two other children at a different hospital and Essentia Health Moose Lake takes the cake! I would recommend this birthing center/ surgery center to anyone.

I had a very good experience with the hospital ER here. The staff was friendly, kind, professional and great with time management! I felt I was respected and my time was valued as a patient. I did not have a long wait to be seen or to receive care - it was fast, they had me all taken care of in a very thorough and quick manner. Special appreciation to Bailey and Ben. This is for the physical therapy staff.
I have some back problems, and I was referred to Moose Lake through the VA. I have to say, after my first visit, I am extremely impressed by my first visit with Abby.
She is very easy to talk to, and she really listened, which is fairly rare with our health care system. The receptionist, Rebacca, is also very people friendly.
I look forward to working with them, and hope I can regain a manageable pain level through their instructions.
I have much faith in Abby. Which is a rare thing with me.

Very happy with my care. Went to the ED at 28 weeks pregnant for shortness of breath. I was taken very seriously by the nurses and doctor. Ended up testing positive for COVID. The doctor was very honest and personable. He gave me the options for treatment and I did not feel forced into making a decision one way or the other.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the lady at the front desk however. She was fairly rude for no reason.

I had my baby here in 2021.One of the nurses did not have great bedside manner. She botched my iv and was very pushy about breastfeeding. I had to request formula multiple times. She finally gave me some as we were leaving the hospital. My baby was down 6 percent body weight at discharge. Nurses were very insistent she would be fine with only a ‘few drops of milk’ at each feeding. Baby was down 10 percent within the first week 🙁 wouldn’t have another baby at this facility.

Great hospital! I had both of my kids there. The birthing rooms are spacious, comfortable, and private. The nursing staff is very knowledgeable and so helpful. It seems that all have children so they know a lot from experience rather than just theory. I've also brought my one year old to the ER. The doctor was professional, very caring, and did a great job handling a toddler and me (the mother who was crying more than the hurt child).

Great hospital and staff. A five star facility. The patient rooms are really big and the staff care about the patients. I’ve seen the nurses walking with patients to help get them moving and back on their feet.

I think some of the other reviews were left by people obviously upset about their bills. Unfortunately providing healthcare is expensive. Moose Lake is really fortunate to have a hospital in their community.
