I would give this ER 0 stars if it would let me. They are incredibly discriminatory and their lack of care is devastating. I’ve had to go here several times throughout the last 4 years as my health has gotten worse and worse. Every single time without fail that I go to this hospital they tell me I smoke too much weed, to stop, and send me on my way. One time they sent me home after saying it’s just the weed when I was sobbing in agonizing pain. I went straight to enloe, got diagnosed with 2 ovarian cysts one on each ovary and both had ruptured at the same time.
Another time I went in. Same situation only I had feinted at work and was pretty scared. Told me it was just the weed and sent me home. Later that year I got diagnosed with PNES which is a seizure disorder that can make you feint.
Another time they send me home same reason, I had asked for a uti test and before discharging me said everything was good. I went to my PC Dr not too long after and she took 1 look at my urine and sent in a uti test. And shocker it came back positive and I needed antibiotics.
Another time they told me it was just the weed, I had salmonella. I have never in 4 years gone here and been treated with an ounce of respect or decency. Marijuana is entirely legal in this state and it is entirely illegal to discriminate against me for it but here they are. Every time. I only go when I have no other choice, and they make me regret it every single time. I would say only go here if you know you are dying but reading some of the other reviews they would probably just let you die anyways. Don’t go here they do not care about you and will let you suffer or even die. You are just a paycheck, these people do not follow the do no harm code.

There doing alot better than usual. They ran quite a few tests and they were nice. The only thing they didn't have a answer as to why I was having chest pains and arm pain jaw pain ect. Except to say all my tests were ok

The doctors, staff and nurses were amazing and took great care of my grandfather when he went in with covid pneumonia. They are stretched thin but are doing everything they can to make sure patients get good care. I'm surprised to see such negative reviews here because our experience was great especially considering how covid is turning everything upside down. They were even treating people outside because all the beds were full. They could have turned everyone away but still wanted to help people. Everyone from Nan at the intake desk to Dr. Ohlfs to the nurses Sharon and Joy and Brennan were all friendly and genuinely cared.

My mother was brought there after taking a serious fall. We were very impressed with her care. Everyone was friendly and attentive and did everything they could to access and treat her injuries, make her comfortable and arrange for her follow up care. Checking in and out was hastle-free, as well. Thank you, Glenn Medical Center, for taking such good care of my mother.

I went in, in tears with a kidney infection (I’ve had a history with them I know what they feel like) they told me I had no sign of infection yet still gave me an antibiotic, two doses of pain meds & an anti nausea medicine, then sent me on my way home. The very next day I ended up in Enloe ER for the same pain & it turns out I have two infected kidneys, just got out of CT Scan as well..

I felt extremely stereotyped because I have dyed hair n piercings. They kept blaming me for moving while poking me with needles (I was sick, hadn’t eaten for nearly 2 days weight 83lbs and been puking for over 12 hrs as long with being severely dehydrated) because I had the shakes. First er to ever kick me out cuz they had full rooms, not cuz I felt better, without following me up with care n asking if I had any questions or concerns. I’d rather myself drive to Chico after this visit.
Was also the first staff to make me stand up for a buttcheek shot which is wack to me cuz the other hospitals who’ve given me a buttcheek shot, let me lay on my tummy cuz it was easier on me, the sick patient, not cuz it was easier on the nurse.

I want to give a big shout out to Glenn Medical Center. A couple of weeks ago I was there with my son and the staff was amazing. My son loved his nurse Daniel and the doctor, Dr. Lane, was super friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back if I have another emergency with my kids or myself.

Brought my son in as we got sick and he started to have breathing problems so I brought him to the ER first off they didn't give him any fluids or run any tests they had eventually given him a breathing treatment it did not help or work at all and still sent us home anyways and told us he'd be fine and I knew he wasn't so I then took him to enloe and they immediately admitted him to the pediatrics unit and ran proper testing and vitals in the er and the pediatrician gave him proper breathing treatment and I found out he developed asthma and when we did get to go home 3 days later they actually sent us home with a nebulizer to help him with his breathing problems when he gets a flair up or sick so if you have children I would not take your kids here as they will not properly take care of your kids
