Exceptional staff response in mother baby and labor and delivery. They have a world class infant security system that is tied into the security system/locks. The campus is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and well maintained. The cafeteria is fantastic and clean. The sushi was excellent!

Awful staff. They discharged my grandmother when she was unconscious and unalert to have her transfer to a physical therapy facility stating she was extremely alert and conscious. Clearly just wanting to get her out of their facility. No care for their patients. It is ridiculous and unprofessional. Take your loved ones somewhere else if you can.

My husband was in the ER on 11/4. The staff was amazing but particular really liked the nurse Tyler Fox. He had a really great bedside manner in a very stressful situation. Thank you Tyler

I went there with extreme kidney pain, and waited for two hours without any acknowledgement other than the initial intake. Sitting in the waiting area while the staff laughed and carried on was unbearable in the amount of pain I was experiencing. Unfortunately, I chose to leave.

I’m convinced that Good Samaritan/Intermountain Health uses AI to read patient imaging. I went here with severe abdominal pain, got a CT scan which showed a kidney stone in my kidney, but was told that nothing on my scan was wrong and discharged.

Went back again ~4 months later, literally writhing in 9.5/10 pain, under the “care” of Dr. Jacob Wayman, who wanted to send me home without running any tests because he didn’t believe I had kidney stones (which aren’t the only potentially fatal ailment that can cause severe abdominal pain). He told me that he checked my previous CT scans and everything on them was fine so I should just go home without any scans (keep in mind I’m literally in agonizing pain from being unable to pass a kidney stone, but hey I’m a woman so I’m probably just overreacting 🙄).

This means he likely didn’t even check my previous scans and lied to me about checking them and their results. He then left me and my mother alone in the hospital room for 4 hours before we even got offered any pain medication. Then, they finally scanned me and realized “whoops!” I actually do have a kidney stone which I eventually had to have surgery for because it was too big to pass at 5mm.

This place also told my dad after getting an X-ray that nothing was wrong with his hip that he was suddenly unable to put any weight on because the bone was literally disintegrating!

Taking scans of unwell patients and telling them that nothing is wrong so that their health deteriorates to the point that they have to come back and get a second bill would be a cooler scam if it didn’t put people’s health and lives at risk. Always request your scans!!

4 hours in the ER to tell me my ankle was sprained and the other leg was fine. Doctor said he would get me some Tylenol and that took easily 45 min to get, even with me calling from the bed remote.

It took 45 min of sitting in the lobby in obviously horrible pain, with a first come first serve policy, regardless of injury and pain level. When I was taken back for a nurse to record what was wrong, they ordered an X-ray of the most painful ankle and that’s it, even though I told them my right leg was also not doing well. While in the X-ray room, the machine lost power and we had to move to another room and start over. When the doctor came to visit in my room, they ordered a second set of X-rays for the right leg. However, rather than have someone wheel me literally around the corner, I waited for something like an additional 1.5 hours when someone walked in with a portable X-ray machine. At 4 hours someone came in saying I was free to leave… before any doctor or nurse had told me what the results were from the X-rays which I had been waiting on for at least 3 hours at the point. The only thing that went well was the last nurse that was friendly and recommended getting some pads for the crutches. Horrible horrible experience. Awful ER with enough negligence to make me never want to go in ANY case of emergency.

I was sent to the ER by my doctor's office. When I got there, I waited for triage and a room as everyone else did. It may be a wait, but unfortunately, that's how ERs can be. Once I did get a room, I had two very kind and caring people who got me comfortable, got me an IV in each arm, and let me know everything they were doing. They drew more blood and gave me fluids and a few other things. They were attentive and kind the entire time. The doctor who helped me was just as great. He made sure they checked everything to be sure that I was OK. He explained what would result would allow me to go home and what result would have another course of action. The entire group I saw that day was all amazing. Anything I needed, they were there. It did take a little bit to get me a CT scan. They were low on staff. Which isn't anyone's fault. There's not much they can do. Other than that, I have no complaints and only good things to say.
