Absolutely horrible inexperienced and unprofessional techs. Treated like trash in an environment that’s SHOULD be meant for sensitivity to patients in a behavioral health setting. Overhearing techs in the hall making extremely inappropriate remarks about patients along the line of “just a bunch of drunks” “babysitting lowlifes” and laughing about the job they have to do. Staff listening to music on their phone, one staff member having a color earphone to match their skin so they won’t get caught. Staff harassing each other and bringing up conflict between each other in front of patients. I absolutely abhor the care given by the staff in the behavioral health ER. What a mess and traumatic experience. Absolute trash of a place to get help, a place that needs a deep and thorough investigation of all staff especially the techs. I’d be ashamed to work in a place like this, I should know besides having being given care here I have experience in healthcare and know of all the violations and inappropriate behavior given, most of all lack of care and respect. Disgusting.

My ER nurse Jessica and Dr. Spence were freaking amazing. The doctor was so kind hearted with an amazing spirit. He walked me through the whole process and made what should have been a nightmare seem so easy. Jessica was the bomb she made me laugh, offer to hold my hand and wiped my tears when I cried. JFK ER is truly fortunate to have those two people on their teams. They are God sent. Thank you both for everything 😊

I went to the ER on 9/28 first time at this hospital and I have to say that the nurses made the whole experience stress-free. Let's be honest who enjoys going to the ER however this particular nurse Niko went on and beyond making me feel at ease through the whole ordeal. Professional, friendly and attentive. Thank you so very much for your services.

I was taken in and given a room soon after arrival to the ER. I was quickly seen by a nurse and then a doctor. I was quite impressed with how quickly and efficiently I was being taken care of upon arrival.

Honestly never waste your time or money they’re they will not help you and you will LITTERALLY wait 2 hours PASSED your APPOINTED time.
I recently had to go there with my gf for a simple xray we did it before we had to got to work… WORST DECISION IN THE WORLD
I most definitely was late to work they took others and walk ins before her it almost felt personal. The space is dirty. All the receptionist care more about their lunch and whatever Netflix show they’re watching lately instead of actually helping ANYONE. If your in serious pain and in dire need of help please for the love of God never walk into this place.

They lied about having the asthma inhalers and I was forced to take emergency asthma nebulizer medication every 4 hours instead which caused a buildup of phlegm and my inability to ear or swallow if anything at all. I even had difficulty taking my daily medication.
